I wish I could give them zero stars! This company never showed up for a confirmed delivery date. When I contacted them, they stopped responding (via calls, emails, and text messages). I got someone else to call and they finally answered the phone. No apology. No explanation. No nothing. And they did not offer a refund. DO NOT USE THEM!
Tip for consumers:
never
Told me everything I wanted to hear until they got my deposit! Then they couldn't deliver on price or pickup time. Decided to fly and pick up vehicle my self! They promised to return $300 if they didn't ship the car, but that turned out to be a lie. They blocked my phone calls after my 1st call requesting the return of my deposit. Don't use this company and definitely don't give them any deposit!
Tip for consumers:
DON'T USE TRAVELERS TRANSPORT
They`re not paying for the loads and they`re working illegally. Their insurance company Pacific Financial Association (PFA) is not working with them, because the info about the ensured company is incorrect, they canceled their agreement with them in December 2022.
We picked up a load with this broker Travelers Auto Transport Inc and were not get paid for more than 30 days and broker bond was unsuccessful, due to the fact that they don`t have the insurance, so, that means that they're lying on the Central dispatch and Super dispatch accounts about their documents and the right to carry the Customers cars. So, we`re still not paid for the job we`ve done and who knows what can happen further.
Dear carriers, avoid them, that will be better for You.
Dear customers, avoid them, that will be better for the drivers which doing their job with respect and very carefully, but not in order for this "broker" to receive the money unfairly.
With 24 hours before my scheduled pickup, I received no response from Adam in dispatch who wanted to delay pickup 2 days later which is unacceptable. Paid a $250 deposit (with 5 days advance notice) which is contradictory to their website because Patrick ensured me that weekend pickup was typical AND he had 15 reservations for my route to Florida from Vegas. When I asked about weekend pickup, his response was "what's a weekend?!" but reality spoke and there was no pickup. Furthermore, dispatch not only didn't answer but their voicemail box was full so I left a message at Patrick's office and his cell phone that I was concerned. I wrote an email to cancel my request and request a refund if I didn't hear back. They clearly don't work on weekends and lied to get a deposit.
Wasted my time and money in having to find another transport. Unreliable and untrustworthy!
2/23/2023 update: I made a dispute to my credit card company and asked Adam to issue a refund for my $250 deposit which he agreed to in return for removing this review; however, after couple follow-up emails, I received no response. Wasting my time and effort but have to go through dispute process to get my deposit back.
The follow-up communication is not existent with this company and the co-owner himself. I understand that weather can impact operations but the customer communications and response is very lacking.
THEY DO NOT REFUND DEPOSITS!
Car was estimated to be picked up but was delayed everyday for 5 days. Trunk was broken and I was not assigned a new driver. Do not trust them!
About a month before our move I filled in a quote request to ship our car through some 3rd party website that came up among Google ads.
Immediately my phone rang, Mike from Travelers Auto Transport. He presented himself as the most reliable and trustworthy car shipping company, offered to move our car from Pittsburgh PA to Seattle for $1550 and promised that the car would be picked up around 6/8/2022 and assured me that it would be no later than our flight date of 6/12/2022. He took my credit card number to charge a deposit of $300 and the rest would be paid in cash to the driver on delivery. After the conversation they sent me an email confirmation with the order number *******, pick up date, deposit and total amount. They also sent me a web form to fill in the pick up and drop off details, among those forms there was a contract that I had to sign. The contract did not look as nice and assuring as what Mike verbally said. However, by this time they already charged my credit card and Mike sounded nice, so I signed the contract.
We haven't heard from them until the day of the move. Then we started to call them multiple times a day. Every time they said that they are working with a driver on a pick up and would call us back within an hour. Never calling back. Every time they promised that the car would be definitely, 100% be picked up by our flight day. Day after day. The flight day came and we left the car behind with a neighbor. A couple more days pass and finally they call us and say that they have a driver for us, but this driver demands $2200 instead of the $1250, which Mike initially promised.
At this point I understood that this company is a scam, we as customers were in the most vulnerable state, our car was kept hostage far away, we urgently needed our car in Seattle and they kept giving us false promises for a week to make sure that we don't book with another company. It is very easy for them to raise prices to whatever they want and customers have no choice. I went into a verbal fight with Mike and other people in the company, accusing them of constantly lying to us and getting even more lies back. I demanded our money back. Mike said that they would only refund us if I sign a paper saying that I would not post a negative review, which I refused. They tried to call us again saying that they have a different driver for $1900.
I refused and booked with a different company, who quoted a cheaper price and didn't charge the credit card until the driver was assigned.
Of course, we did not get our $300 deposit back. Be warned, find a more trustworthy company.
