Had to book a hotel for two nights in Brighton. The price on TravelUp was much cheaper than any other site, 40% cheaper then the hotel's own website. Unfortunately we had to cancel and TravelUp refunded to my credit card (minus the administration fee) within a couple of days. Would definitely use them again.
We booked through travel up and paid then the hotel we booked called to tell us they cancelled the paid reservation because the rate is not applicable to us now. Thats 3 days before the travel date. We sent travel up and they are not replying. Not refunding our money nor confirming our reservation. They are a fraud. DONT DEAL WITH THEM
I called a week ahead to the hotel of reservation, and they showed no reservations confirmed for me. I tried contacting the site, but had zero success. So I showed up to the hotel with hopes I would have a reservation, and luckily I did. So again, value was amazing but there is no customer service.

We apologise if you were unable to get in contact with us, our phone lines are open 24/7 in hotels and our email response is usually less than 24 hours. The reservation will go through our suppliers before reaching the hotel which is why when you called they had no record as it was saved on the suppliers central system, however it will go through.

I tried to book a hotel through Trivago. When 'clicking through' to TravelUp, it was not obvious to me that the dates I'd entered for the booking had been changed behind my back. I immediately tried to cancel my booking (within minutes), however TravelUp denied to do this both over the telephone and by email.
I am totally disgusted with the service I received from TravelUp, and will never use them again!

We can see that you had booked a non refundable/non changeable room. A member of staff has been able to get our supplier to agree to a date change for you however we have had no response.
Unfortunately we have had guests lie about the website automatically changing dates in the past, so therefore it is your responsibility to check your booking and read the terms and conditions before clicking book. We understand this is a simple mistake but you have booked a non refundable room rate and our supplier will not allow a FOC cancellation.

It was a nightmare experienced booking in travel up! It was my 1st time using this company and i will never use it again not even recommend to my friends. I booked my hotel for my Kauai Hawaii trip, when we get to the hotel the receptionist told me that I don't have any reservation, I showed them my confirmation from travel up there's no record at all. I end up paying almost $700 for my 2 nights stay. The hotel personnel even helped me out to contact this company and no one was answering their phone. When i get back to California I called travel up to get my refund, it tooks a while to refund my money…

I was unfamiliar with Travel up, but began to notice the site when researching for a short little trip later in 2021.
There appeared to be some savings to be made with this site, overall some discounts were minimal but others, and the one I ended up using for my accommodation booking, were substantially competitive in comparison to some of the more familiar accomodation booking sites.
The page and site were seamless and a page ill consider more in the future
Booking was a breeze. We travel this week, hoping the check-in and stay are as satisfying.
I booked Hilton through them in New York. When I arrived to the Hilton, they had no parking for me and my children. They expected us to park 10 blocks away in an unsafe neighborhood. Me along with 5 other guests, asked for refunds. I was told I had to go through travel up to get my refund. I was told I had to send an email. I sent an email to travel up and now it's two weeks later and I still haven't received my refund for something that wasn't my fault. Poor customer service! And I've written them and haven't received much follow up.

No complaints a quiet place is always priceless after a long travel. Hotel Staff & Maintenance was perfect. Had some issues with remote & even@ 11pm they resolved quiet clean and peaceful did i say clean & quiet.
Customer service was good. However I think the relationship with the vendors isn't great. I want able to make a change and ended up just losing out on that money. I think it was also partly due to their booking software. It moved my date and I ended up booking the wrong day.

I needed to change the dates of my vacation. I knew I would have a $49 fee but had no choice. With other booking apps, I have been able to make changes on the site by my self. With travelup there was no place for me to make my own changes and it was difficult to find out how to make my changes. I finally found a customer service number and tried calling numerous times and just got a busy signal. I finally got a voice mail and left a message. After a few days and leaving another message I tried online again. I found a place on the site where I could type in my request for change. I reluctantly picked some random dates and included them in my messages, thinking I would get a phone call to discuss the changes. I wasn't sure if there would be a pricing change or not. I assumed that if there was an increase, I would get a call before being charged. Wrong! Instead a few days later I got confirmation that the dates had been changed but the cost of the hotel had increased. I couldn't decline it without being charged another $50 for cancellation. Had I been able to know the costs of nightly rates, I could have selected different nights to stay. I didn't like this process and will not be using them again.
