I would like to say, thank you to TreeHugger, for letting me cancel my order due to financial issues and then for sending me a bracelet for free, because I really believe in their cause. Emily is a lovely lady who was prompt in answering my questions and very understanding. I will use them again in the future, Frances
Like everyone else, I paid for three bracelets in good faith, three months later, no bracelets other than a card from the Post Office yesterday telling me I need to pay £17.50. I would avoid this supposedly 'caring company' at all costs!

Total scam. Ordered bracket 3 months ago as was touched by the borrow the Australian people and animal kingdom faced. Never felt so stupid. Bracket has never arrived and I can't even get logged into the website to check delivery. Clearly a scam. Feel very annoyed at myself for being sucked in. Never again.
Don't make the mistake I made! Do not order from this website.
I bought 3 bracelets for the support of Australia early 2020. I never received them, despite several reminders, only all kind of excuses why the delivery was delayed. Don't buy, it is fraud and I can't believe that they used the money for trees in Australia.
Like so many others, I ordered a couple of their bracelets following the awful fires at the start of the year in Australia and I was drawn to their advertising about saving the koalas. My first surprise was learning that the company are actually based in the USA. I waited and waited - nearly 4.5 months to be exact - and finally received a card from Royal Mail saying that I had to pay duty of more than what the actual bracelets cost in the first place! I haven't bothered to pay or collect.

Ordered one bracelet beginning of February, had to chase the company reference dispatch date. April 2nd dispatched no bracelet, was supposed to be a present for a friend who loves Australia. Do your research on the internet before buying anything from this company. If you live in the UK there is a huge chance you will be charged import tax as packet is marked up clothing. Loads of unhappy customers on their Facebook Site.
Has anyone else received this notice from treehuggers. Still waiting for my refund weeks later. Poor business practices
"We're very sorry for the trouble this has caused you. As of the moment, we do not have phone support and we can only assist through email and chat. We are currently having a system glitch in processing refunds but we are now working to fix it. We will make another follow up with our manager and keep you posted as soon as we have further updates".
I like a lot of people was struck by the plight of the Australian bush fires, so thought i would order two bracelets and try and do some good. They took months to arrive.
I did get a card left by my postman to pay customs of £11.40, and he delivered the package the next day... But it only contained 1 bracelet, i contacted them but received no reply, in total the cost came to £60 uk pounds, and to be honest the bracelet i received its only worth a few pound, i was suckered into believing i was doing good, in the hope that the trees were planted if nothing else. But sadly i dont think this is the case, i would have been better off giving to a charity closer to home.
Ordered 2 bracelets in January in good faith to support the bush fires. In April I chased them as supposedly dispatched, the tracking info from their courier didn't work. They claimed the bracelets could not be delivered due to missing house number on a security auto-fill address. Not resent and here I am in July being requested for a review.
Here it is: The bracelets are dropshipped from China and the cost is pennies. The tree-planting partner has apparently disassociated themselves from the company and took £1 approx to plant each tree. Do the sums.
I wanted to support a good cause and spontaneously bought 2 bracelets to support the reforestation in Australia. After I had not received the order by the end of April despite several Email exchanges in which they gave all sorts of excuses I canceled my order and received a confirmation that the refund is being processed. But one month later, also no refund and their new excuse is that they have a glitch in the system!
Their email replies (which usually come within minutes which implies there is customer service but are probably automated) are designed to buy time so that the buyer does not take any further actions.
Any new buyer should exercise great caution when buying from them.
Do not believe anything Treehuggers say on their website or social media. It's a scam. They do not deliver in time, they do not respond to mails unless you send them something. Always nice words of apologies, but no actions. Wish I had never come across them. They should be ashamed, using contributing to a better world their theme, and at the same time exploiting their customers!
I ordered 2 of these bracelets early February, they did not arrivr. I have been waiting since March for a refund again not had that. I would stay away from this site and don't waste your money. You will not receive your bracelets or get your money back, the biggest con artists going, disgraceful.
After reading other reviews, I feel very silly for having fallen for all their so-called ethical ideals.
It turns out the people selling these bracelets are mainly based in the USA, not in Australia as I'd naturally thought. It's been 5 weeks since I ordered a bracelet from them and still no sign of it. That's almost a side-issue though as I thought most of the money raised would be going to the Australian bush relief. The fact is that the people who run this organisation' are making a lot of profit out of a natural disaster that killed a vast amount of Australian flora and fauna. It's sad that there are humans out there who think it's alright to profit from this. I know I couldn't sleep at night being that callous. I hope the ghosts of all those poor koalas haunt the people behind this (in my opinion) bogus company. In future I will just up my contributions to the WWF for Nature.
I received a product with frayed seams. After reaching out to customer service they said the product was fine and wouldn't offer more than a coupon for $10 off my next order. Very disappointed with the product and customer service. I will definitely be taking my business elsewhere in the future.
It is quite pretty and I will enjoy wearing it but having to wait over 3 months for it to be delivered, that is unacceptable. I feel they need to be honest with their customers. I received lots of emails saying it was on its way, when it obviously wasn't. But it is here now so my patience did pay off...
Have had various emails saying it was on its way. Now 3rd of May and guess what... still no bracelet. Like everyone else was very keen to donate to the tree planting scheme. I will never respond to a Facebook ad ever again. And the final nail in the coffin, another email today asking if I wanted to order more products... it would be nice if the initial product had turned up.
Ordered bracelet Feb 14th 2020. It is now April 9th and keep getting excuses why product has not been shipped. Website states due to popular demand shipping may take up to 21 days and when i have asked several times about the status, their response is... item "will be shipped this week or next". I thought the purchase was helping the Koala in Australia but now i think it is all a scam.
These people are playing on our wish to help the displaced koalas due to bush fires. They are not a charity and have nothing to do with Australia! I ordered two bracelets early February and after 3 months of being told they would be dispatched "this week or next week", I received a notice from Royal Mail to say there was a package awaiting collection with an outstanding customs fee of £15.00 to pay. I reluctantly paid and collected the bracelets. Wish I hadn't bothered! Wooden beads threaded on plastic, with a few thin metal links in between, certainly not worth the final cost. Shame on you Treehuggers!
I ordered at the beginning of March, it is now the middle of June and have finally received the two bracelets I ordered. But I did have to pay £14.70 customs duty first. I'm utterly disgusted about everything to do with this company and I feel like I've been conned. How do we even know that trees are getting planted? I bought as presents but there wasn't any printed material with them to explain about the koala habitat or what the bracelets were made from so I've just kept them for myself. I like many others feel stupid to have been scammed.
I have similar story, now 25th June, have emailed them continuously since I ordered bracelets latter end of JANUARY! Finally insisted on a refund, after every excuse under the sun (big demand, covid-19, delays in shipping from China (even got details of it stuck in some warehouse in China!), finally they said they would refund me, that was about 3 weeks ago, then even sent me email confirming the refund was processed, now making excuses about computer glitch, and they are very sorry, very sorry, very sorry for my trouble. Absolute scammers, and I realised too late I had been sucked in like many other people trying to help the Australian habitat after their dreadful fires. I'm still chasing and will continue to do so daily. Don't touch them, they are an absolute disgrace
Treehuggers took payment from my credit card the day I ordered from them. The email acknowledging the order said delivery would take up to ten days. Two days later I had another email saying demand was high and delivery might take a little longer. I have sent three emails to their 'support team' and not had a straight answer to any of them - they apologise, promise despatch by the end of the month... Eventually I had an email saying that my order had been despatched, but that was 15 days ago and nothing has arrived. The tracking number for the package does not work, and the email to the support team asking how long they expected the delivery to take was again evasive, all they said was that the tracking numbers often do not work. Do not order from this company.
I ordered my bracelet the end January of this year and with each email inquiry they said they are processing it and the bracelet would be mailed out the following week. Then they said for my inconvenience, they would refund 20% of the bracelet purchase. When the refund never came they said, "from our end it shows the refund was deposited back into your account, will look into it and get back to you". Never happened. Now, they don't respond to any of my weekly inquiries. This is now going on 3 months, as it's already April. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM.
In the website is not specified that at the moment the you receive the box you need to pay 14.00 more for the customs. Also they made a mistake with the bracelets, they told me that i will receive a refund that never arrived. Absolotuley avoid!
I ordered a bracelet in feb. In may they indicated it was on its way. DHL notified that the package was in transit. Then it dissapeared from system. I reqeusted my money back in June. They indicated it was authorized, still no money. Suddenly my emails does not go through. Think they changed their email address. Fake business.
Like many others I thought these bracelets came from Australia and that I was supporting the terrible fires they were having there. I obviously didn't give enough attention to their propaganda. Treehuggers I thought was more of a charity and not lining the pockets of Americans. Lesson learnt.
Founded by Graham Hill who sold it for $10 million to Discovery communications. In 2012 acquired by Mother Nature network founded by Joel Babbit and Chuck Leavell. Now know as Narrative Content Group.
TREEHUGGERS is not a charity it is American Capitalists.
Be warned! Give your money to someone who will do something good with it.
Tip for consumers:

I ordered a bracelet at the end of January.
Reading these reviews I too thought it was a scam and put it down to experience, hoping that at least a tree had been planted to help this poor nation.
Forgot all about it, and lo and behold it arrived this afternoon and it's lovely.
