Its really a scam site in itself; charging $30 for a ready made privacy policy, and $90 it you want this with a SEAL.
All this to intervene when problem arise! Yes, would they intervene and loose fools who pay $90 for a small logo per year?!
Wake up its 2012... No scamming anymore...
I hold much respect for TRUSTe. This organisation makes sure that websites who hold their seal provide their customers with a high level of privacy. This means websites who hold this seal can be trusted with your private details (e.g. Email address). It can also be assured that when you download from their website they won't install spyware or malware.
This TRUSTe is doing nothing than a logo. It is not helping buyer it will help website owner. Don't even bother to contact them to get help. It is not for costumer it is for website owner and i will never shop from any website who have that logo on theirs website
This heater was a gift from my boyfriend. It is lightweight and easy to use. Warms up the room nicely.
I an very pleased with this product!
I made a complaint to truste about the website gohealthinsurance.com (GHI) which had the truste logo on it. I complained that the email address I gave to gohealthinsurance.com (only) was shared with spammers resulting in 40+ spam emails in a short period of time. My understanding was that gohealthinsurance.com was to share my email and other information to entities for health insurance info and sales only, not for "free walmart card"s and other obvious scams coming from Hong Kong, Great Britain, Canada and other places. GHI claimed their vendor violated their contract, but that their privacy policy allowed them to give my information to anyone, and therefore the spammers were expected. If Truste is supposed to make Web users have more trust in using the Web, that goal is definitely not accomplished. Fortunately, the email address I used can be turned off, which I have done. But if I had used my primary address, I would have no way to prevent the spams, just from gohealthinsurance.com, from coming to my in box.
Tip for consumers:
I want to add that since I turned off the email address (12/1/2011) given to gohealthinsurance.com, 26,363 emails have been blocked (up to today, 10-7-2016) and they were from 15,812 domains!. Truste is apparently a fraud and I have proof. I use a service that allows unlimited email addresses, and the email address I used for gohealthinsurance.com was unique and given ONLY TO THEM. Only they could have given that unique email address to thousands of spammers. gohealthinsurance.com is a disgu
