Got trapped into a further years subscription at a 60% price hike. Didn't receive renewal prices until i was inside the 30 day cancellation period, enabling them to charge whatever they wanted. Avoid!
Wrote a perfectly good review for a company regarding an online purchase but they
Refused to post it on their website, sent them numerous proofs of purchase but to
No avail, in the end they just didn't answer emails.
Been posting on Trustpilot for months now with no issues, now they decided to suspend my account when I give nothing but HONEST reviews about my experience with a company! If they're negative too bad! That's what reviews are for! Not everyone has a good experience and the "negative" reviews need to be known/heard too!
Even if you provide proof and facts, Trustpilot will always delete poor reviews and favour the seller. An absolute joke of a company, I never take any notice of this site and don't understand why people do, some reviews don't even relate to the actual subject!
They are removing my genuine reviews for reporting fraud companies. If the company is paid then Trustpilot will remove the bad reviews for them. Manipulated reviews, don't believe and check for other sites also.
Most of the reviews we see from Trustpilot for our business can't even be linked to actual customers. However we keep being solicited to pay outrageous monthly fees for their service again to help us with our reviews. If someone has trouble with our product / service, we want to offer them assistance. However, Trustpilot doesn't even allow you to send your own message to the reviewer to try and provide that assistance or get extra information about the problem. They only let you send a form email asking them to contact your company. However this email doesn't even provide your company's contact information on it. So even if it is a real review from an actual customer, they make it very difficult for them to get their issue resolved.
I ordered a wrist watch through Trustpilot.com and I can say I received quality product from the online store they recommended. My watch was delivered within the stipulated time and was Intact. The wristwatch was exactly the same as it appears on the image. When there are problems, the customer support is responsive and addresses your concern quickly. I don't understand the negative reviews about the site.
I'm just baffled. A well known alarm company which advertises constantly and prominently on TV proudly displays it's 4stars plus Trustpilot rating and this is confirmed by glowing reviews on Trustpilot's website. However, on another website are many reviews by people who have clearly had dealings with this company to their extreme regret and citing specific experiences in great detail and rating it 1 star obviously because that's the only available option on that review site. I'm at a loss to understand the contrast in ratings and concerned that prospective customers will take the Trustpilot rating at face value!
Wrote a complaint review on Trustpilot. Complaint company responded wanting invoice number, sent, no response. Trustpilot then removed my complaint pending verification. I sent invoice proving validity but they kept my complaint censored with no response to my queries. On top of this, read many positive reviews that were obviously fake.
Posted same complaint on sitejabber and they had no problem with it. Actually got results from posting here.
If you think Trustpilot reviews are reliable, then think again. Trustpilot is a paid service that improves a company's rating and consumer perception. I have written many reviews with documentation to prove my claims and had them challenged and deleted, even when indisputable proof was supplied. The reason I am sure they are a scam is I was actually solicited on the phone to pay them to get a better rating, after I claimed my business on their site.
This is a fraud site, not trust worthy at all... i shared a negative review about a seller but they did not publish it. So, when we got in touch with their cust service they said your review could not be authenticated... so ww provided all proofs like emails receipts etc but then they blocked us!... they were clearly paid by the seller and so did not publish our genuine review.
So if you have a SCAM business and got negative review on trustpilot websites. You can pay TrustPilot to remove the negative reviews and keep fake positive reviews.
TrustPilot obviously is a SCAM website to squeeze out scammers.
Don't waste your time with them.
Even after my review was verified with all the proves I sent them. They removed my review claiming that their software automatically removed it. Yeah Right scammers.
They make up the rules and allow some reviews and not others. They don't properly check the reviews at all and trying to speak them is like speaking to a robot. They delete there own bad reviews. Funny they don't have a review page for themselves on their own website? This page or here https://www.reviews.io/company-reviews/store/trustpilot tells the real truth! Hope they are found out for what they really are one day and big companies stop using them.
Everything on this site seems to be rated 5 stars. Companies can give free products and samples to people reviewing them, so of course everyone who gets these will rate them well. I don't find this site helpful at all and I don't get why it's so popular. The ratings on there are not trustworthy at all!
I recently started a weight management programme - Second Nature - because of the good reviews I read.
There were five star reviews all down the page. Second Nature, in it's advertising had prominently mentions these reviews. It had also persistently slated Weight Watchers, which I should have taken as a warning, but I decided to go ahead anyway. I didn't like Second Nature because of their patronising attitude, so I quickly cancelled. Since reading other peoples' experience of the programme elsewhere, I see that some other people agree with me. Since then Iv'e looked at Weight Watchers reviews on Trust Pilot and all the prominent one's are bad, which has not generally been the case on other review sites. I think that Trust Pilot may be being paid by Second Nature to put any negative reviews first in this case, as it may be being paid more for placing good reviews prominently. Either the reviews are prominently placed or fake.
I have made many verified purchases and each company invited me to leave a Trustpilot review so I do. The good positive reviews get left online but every since negative review gets removed and trust pilot compliance ignore your emails
I've attached proof of my most recent purchase, a email that confirms I left a review and minutes later one that confirms my review was removed
I've purchased stuff from companies that get outstanding Trustpilot reviews and then have issues with quality of the products and poor customer service, you leave a review and it gets removed l. It's not independent or impartial because any reviews that paint a company in a negative light get removed
It shouldn't be called trust pilot because they can't be trusted and what are they are doing is against advertising standards and are misrepresenting their service.
I wrote an honest review of a Company that keeps sending me fake emails and there is no way to unsubscribe from their website. Then TrustPilot threatened me saying they would remove the review if I did not send "The Company" some of my personal information. Something is no right here IMO. I am thinking that TrustPilot gets paid by these Companies for removing bad reviews. Just my opinion. Just another scammer IMO

Websites that are politically motivated censorship machines abuse Trustpilot by reporting every review and reported reviews stay hidden because Trustpilot never reviews them.
UPDATE: They also force you to remove statements you have proof are true, and keeping asking for "proof of your dealings" when you already have. The irony here is a comment plugin for a website like spot doesn't even really offer the proof they ask for lol.
I have seen talk around forums of them doing this for scammers too - refuse to accept proof. ANY proof of ANY kind.
Also apparently they actually do review posts, but it takes 2+ weeks and 3+ back and forth messages, the replies look rather automated like they are done by an AI rather than a real human because of how inattentive they are to what was actually written.
This company is a tragedy, they do not verify reviews in any way, anyone can write anything about your company and then you have to register to write back. Forcing you to create an account. This type of business should be banned. I wholeheartedly do not recommend and privately will never use, a swamp.
They pretty much remove any negative reviews as long as their clients are premium subscribers. Despite providing them with evidence of the negative experience with one of their clients they still removed my review under 'it's our software that automatically removes reviews and we can't do anything about it; pretext. They are absolutely disgusting
How are you going to have a page that is for reviews and opinions on other businesses and then shut it down because people do not like the business and want to say so in a review? Trustpilot is as bad as gofundme is and they should go bankrupt and move to communist China!
I use trust pilot for my business. However, they do not use any integrity, when reviewing hateful or harmful posts that are fraudulent against a company. When you try and take action by flagging the post and pointing out the issues, they refuse to do anything about it and leave the hateful and abusive verbiage in place that slanders the organization when in fact they did nothing wrong. When you leave a negative review on Trustpilot, about Trustpilot, they remove it instantly therefore they do not walk the talk.
Terrible company you write your reviews as encouraged to do so good or bad what you don't realise is the bigger companies pay for a service and they can have your reviews removed even though they are legitimate and have been checked. They will use any excuse to remove them and delete your account they then delete other household members reviews. Not what you expect inflating companies ratings.
I wrote a negative review on Trustpilot about a company who then pushed me repeatedly to pull my review, when I did not, they put my full name on Trustpilot as a kind of revenge. I contacted Trustpilot about this privacy issue, which is still not resolved after three weeks...
For a company that uses Trust in its name, you really cannot trust its customer service or privacy policy... Shame...
I have been a member of Trustpilot for years, and submitted 100s of reviews over that time, both good and bad. All my reviews have always been factual, and based on my own experience.
Now today, months since my last review, I get a message from TP to say that their new software has flagged one or more of my reviews as 'spam', and thus, my account has been suspended and all my reviews removed. Trust pilot have obviously now joined the ranks of the Thought Police, where 'wrong' opinions get squashed and hidden, and people are only able to read the 'right' opinions. Well, good luck to them. I used to trust TP, but it seems they've gone the way of other review sites, where only fluffy, glitter-dusted reviews count, not truthful and factual opinions across the spectrum.
My review was deleted and they didn't tell me why either. They say "Trustpilot is committed to transparency." but clearly aren't. Also, sometimes when you try to post a review or log in. "Whoops!" will pop up. It's the most annoying error message since it tells you nothing.
