Got trapped into a further years subscription at a 60% price hike. Didn't receive renewal prices until i was inside the 30 day cancellation period, enabling them to charge whatever they wanted. Avoid!
We recently reviewed or lack of service with one of Trustpilots customers. We have posted 2 reviews both highly critical of their customer.
Trustpilot came back at us saying our reviews were flagged by their customer as fake and asked us to provide proof that we had a service with that customer and the issues that were not resolved. We did so.
Today April 21 2021 got another email from them stating our second critical review was flagged and removed as fake and to provide proof.
They never have restored the FIRST review after providing proof. And now have removed the second review.
That way there if somebody looks up their customer they see nothing but positive glowing reviews.
The BBB site tells a different story about both their customer & Trustpilot. Numerous complaints, most unresolved but lots of lip service saying they tried to resolve.
Trustpilot is almost as bad as their customer for dishonesty and bias. What's the sense in having a review system if the reviewing company is as crooked as the customers?
Tip for consumers:
If your critical of any Trustpilot customer be prepared to have your reviews stricken even after providing proof of services and waiting for your reviews to be reinstated, unless this is the type of service your looking for then these guys are the company for you..

Trying to TRUTHFULLY warn other consumers about a shoddy product.
They're just trying to get your money. All they care about is getting you locked into a contract and then you're stuffed after that. The person that sells you the service doesn't even work for Trust Pilot. There is nothing trustworthy about these guys. I had a small business in Australia, the sales person rang repeatedly and finally got me over the line. I then discovered he had massively up sold me for products my business didn't need but I was locked in. He also said that it would be no problem to break the contract if I was finding it too difficult. I did find it too difficult and they refused to honour what the sales guy had promised. I repeatedly asked for the transcript of my original sign up call and they ignored this and just kept sending accounts to be paid. I provided them with profit and loss to show the lack of income and financial difficulty and they still wouldn't honour it. DO NOT GET INTO BED WITH THESE GUYS. I don't have one good thing to say about my experience and I don't believe their product made any difference to my sales at all

That they are untrustworthy

Trust pilot review system
I have checked them out quite a few times and found them to be dishonest!. I have clicked "usefull" countless times and refreshe browser but does not register! Nor down your comment if negitive. I beleive they are taking back handers from companies they refused to publish my comment because the company got in contact with them then they started asking for receipts and proof! I uploaded my customer purchase ID and they still asked for receipts and more proof! They just wanted to make it difficult to post teh comment till finnally I gave up. They are a total waste of space dont trust trustpilot their on a money scam. And that is an honest review. Do as I did to check them out if you don't beleive me it's that simple. I will not be wasting any more of my life and time to post on any sites again just a waste of space.
I wrote a negative review of a VPN company that I paid for a two year subscription and removed after three months and ate the remainder of the money thats how bad it was Trustpilot suspended my subscription and wanted me to send documentation that I actually had a subscription with the company, funny they didnt ask for proof with all the positive reviews I did, so that tells me their integrity is in question flagging bad reviews and allowing positive reviews, I won't waste my time with them anymore
The bad reviews removed despite paperwork given for bus company that did not show up to pick up kids with a contract. The kids were left with no excuse the company one star review was removed because other company thought I am a fake user. I had all evidence available to show but they denied.
I DO NOT TRUST FAKE REVIEWS IN TRUSTPILOT
Many many legit reviews get removed lately. I have had several neagitive reviews removed all based on my real life experiece about the certain companies. Take Playtech a gambling casino company with 100% negative reviews how they scam people with manipulated games. All reviews still on there say the same as i did in my review from past experience. But my review was removed, playtech in fact had sveral hundred negative reviews of them removed last year obvioulsy paid for by playtech to remove them. They let big companies post fake positive reviews and remove negative reviews, in fact there was one company recently that had the same review word by word posted by 3 different people. Obviously fake postive reviews but they are not removed because trust pilot has become a joke. 100% untrustworthy in fact the new name for this site is untrustworthy pilot.
Wrote an in-depth and honest review about VRBO and their gross misrepresentation of listings, only to recieve am email from Trustpilot informing me that I had 2 days to amend the review to protect VRBO. The review had discussed our safety and security concerns being violated and VRBO doing nothing about it. The only thing Trustpilot cared about was making sure VRBO was and is protected over the consumer. How can you call yourself "Trust"pilot when there is absolutely zero trust in your authenticity or integrity?
I used to believe in trust pilot until, I gave a review on MGI trading who scam me of $5000 and did a review on them in trust pilot with evidences of my pending withdrawal and after two days it was flagged by the very Trustpilot I thought that had intergrity,
I now know there are no truth and no intergrity in them,
Below are the evidences and yet they refused to publish them to save others. So I conclude scammers paid them to have positive reviews
I wrote a negative review of Good Dog after applying to be a breeder member. I chose not to as I did not believe their screening processes served excellent breeders as they rate breeders as Excellent that did not do the minimum health testing required by the national breed clubs. I stated such and made recommendations for how to find an excellent breeder that was truly screened, did do recommended health testing and was in it to better the breed. They pulled the review at the request of Good Dog. DO NOT TRUST A SITE THAT PULLS NEGATIVE REVIEWS AT THE REQUEST OF THE COMPANY.
Trustpilot doesn't have their stuff in place.
I have been contacted twice by Trustpilot and by the same person for the same reason. Trustpilot wanted me to prove that my experience with a company is genuine. Twice within a 3-month period.
The reason is the online shop requested once more prove that I am a genuine customer. It seems the shop is trying to do everything to block my negative review getting out and is continually reporting my review to Trustpilot. And trust pilot being a profit center are trying to do everything in their power to keep profiting from paying companies like that.
Trustpilot should have facts in place and not let companies block review twice for the same reason at any time.
This makes Trustpilot a questionable place to trust if money is involved. As they will protect there paying customer at every cost.
Normally the spectrum of stars given should spread from 1 to 5 stars.
If a company has mostly 5-star reviews and very few or no 1, 2, 3 or 4-star reviews, please careful. This may indicate something is wrong somehow and this comes from my recent experience with Trustpilot and shops.
Please read also the one stars review to get a full scope of the truth as the one stars review may the once that tell the full truth.
Trustpilot should rethink their game as this should be a place to trust not to doubt.
TRUST PILOT Removed my review which has reciept # order J******* of my $490.00 purchase of Stylewe which after 13 days only shipped recieved1 item of 13 items bought. Nothing else of my paid order was verified as shipped or recieved by company. 5to 8 more days to ship but nothing has happened in updates no answere in my 4 emails to them. Stylewe order#They removed my review said it couldnt be verified even though i had a Reciept Number listed.
I tried to find real reviews about a store on Trustpilot. I found only a few reviews and it looks like they are fake. It is unclear whether Trustpilot has moderators or not. I'm sad.
Hi I have been posting reviews on Trust pilot for the past year, and my past couple reviews were about the sexcam sites and how some are tracking people beyond what they are supposed to and even caught some covering up there criminal activity and have proof of what is happening with those sites. So I checked up on my reviews a few weeks ago ago notice they have taken down my reviews and other people responses because this was turning into a major thing and Im not trying to start trouble with the sites I mentioned because I perform on some as well. But I sent trust pilot a email wanting to know why they took it down, because hundreds of thousands of people go into those sites every day and I don't have the numbers but probably way more than that visit the sites, and I thought everyone should know about what is going on and in some reviews I read it's to late and I can't stand that. But I received a email from Trust pilot saying that they have a software that can tell if someone is making up a story or not, which after reading it they said that I was lying and they had to take it down. My question is if they have this software and pretty sure they didn't investigate these sites, and all they needed to do was go into those sites and look around and there software should have picked it up. What probably happened they got paid to take it down because I found out some sites changed my reviews to make it sound like a good review instead of warning people. So what they did and there actions makes me think they would allow this sort of thing to happen and don't care for the people. Thanks
Have only ever done one negative review on Trustpilot but that was deleted even though I provided evidence of my account number and dealings with the company I was reviewing.
I love trustpilot, it's got an nice design and is very pleasant and quick in experience for a new user. I use it quite oftenly for reviewing some of my purchases or brands I know.
They used to be the go to for reviews. They now censor and delete honest concerns calling them "fabricated". This company is a sell out to Big Tech. Shame on them!
This company benefits from fake positive reviews left for large companies and removes all positive reviews genuinely posted by customers for smaller ones to make them pay. Unethical to the core
Trustpilot asked me to prove my order and payment to Hypesnow. Dk, and I sent them copys of order no, bankhandlings and e-mail between me and Hypesnow. But Trustpilot remowed my bad reviews and do not answer me why.
If you have a negative review to place of CERTAIN COMPANIES that you will get errors that won't allow you to post your review. Maybe that's why some companies have such GREAT reviews there, while in other sites the reviews are Terrible. In this instance it was WISH APP that you can no longer place negative TRUE reviews of.
Wrote a few honest reviews on TrustPilot and found out they erased some them. I had a serious complain about a company but obviously that company is some kind of premium partner with TrustPilot.
Reviewed lots of companies via Trustpilot over the years until today.Got 13 emails from Trustpilot stating 13 reviews have been removed. Some of them over a year old.Pathetic

Unreliable and biased
I find Trustpilot's review system to be biased in favor of businesses, particularly those with a paid subscription. Many of my reviews, which I believe to be genuine and honest, have been flagged and removed without a valid reason, simply because the business in question had a paid subscription.
I've seen businesses with poor ratings, and an overwhelmingly negative reputation, maintain a high TrustScore simply because they pay for the service. This undermines the entire purpose of Trustpilot, which is to provide consumers with honest and unbiased reviews of businesses.
The system is too easily manipulated by businesses, who can flag and remove reviews that don't suit their agenda. This creates an unfair advantage for businesses, and a disadvantage for consumers who rely on Trustpilot to make informed decisions about where to shop or invest their money.
Trustpilot should do more to ensure that its review system is fair and impartial. The company needs to be more transparent about its policies, and create a system that is less vulnerable to manipulation by businesses with a paid subscription.
Overall, I find Trustpilot to be unreliable and biased, and would caution anyone relying solely on its reviews to take them with a grain of salt.
Simple as that. If you are a paying customer, you can have Trustpilot remove the reviews you don't want anyone to see. So the end result is... a ton of five-star reviews and a high "trust" score.
Sent them ALL the info - email chain - texts ETC for a fraudulent company called Fareshope - DONT USE THEM EVER! They took down my review because Fareshope cried to them. They claimed I had no proof - I sent them ALL THE PROOF- above and beyond. My guess - Fareshope paid them to take it down. DON'T TRUST "TRUST PILOT" their name is joke. Unfortunately if you use them - jokes on you!
Tip for consumers:
huge waste of time attempting to alert the public to another fraudulent company that goes by FARESHOPE. Dont waste your time energy or money folks ✌️ Trust pilot is untrustworthy

Trust pilot shows fake 3.2 stars which is impossible and lie because the review is only one and it's clearly written 1 star.
