Got trapped into a further years subscription at a 60% price hike. Didn't receive renewal prices until i was inside the 30 day cancellation period, enabling them to charge whatever they wanted. Avoid!
I left my opinion about Hermes UK, my review was deleted immediately, even though it didn't contain any incorrect words and had information about the service number which i bought, I contacted the trustpilot team of course with no answer. I tried to write an opinion several times, always the same, it is removed after a few minutes. Therefore, I think that someone takes money for some companies upvote. Please don't believe this site!
Wrote a poor review about Lidl staff taking advantage of their 20p produce reduced price offers. Remove by Trustpilot as being a fraudulent posting. Produced pictures and undercover video, which was ignored. So please use any other site as Trustpilot is not now impartial.
I put in a real review of Yahoo to Trustpilot that was later removed. I have gone through several processes to fight this removal because it is a true and valid review, but Trustpilot are standing firm saying they have found an association between me and Yahoo. I know they can't have found an association because there is none and they will not tell me what this association is. My conclusion is that Trustpilot are taking pressure from Yahoo to remove negative reviews therefore making their purpose obsolete. How can a supposedly unbiased review company remove valid reviews?
I have left several negative reviews for products or services but trustpilot is basically structured to allow immediate flagging of any negative review and to demand more information or proof. Even if you provide that it's unlikely the negative review will be restored.
In fact if you look at similar platforms ratings of certain businesses they are wildly different and more positive on trustpilot then elsewhere.
Ironically trustpilots own rating on this site is lower than the company I negatively rated that immediately demanded my user information under threat of deleting the review.
Obviously not saying anything new as you can see currently on sitejabber that trustpilot rates at roughly 1.5 / 5 stars. That's certainly something
I wrote a honest review of a company, I did not even put 1 star but 2 also highlighting some good things. Then Trustpilot after first ap[proving it took it down for it being 'flagged', then an 'integrity' master comes a long being allmighty, not answering as to why the flag. When you ask again no answer comes.
I was doing the right thing, putting my time and energy in bettering this world. Do we users get paid for doing all of this FOR them as supreme testers? No they are getting paid by the bad companies to pay off bad reviews. Trustpilot is rotten to the core. I see hundreds of the so called feedback on the site absolutely bogus but the one that is genuine they remove while it is of high quality, much better than most on there.
They don't support the companies that pay them even when you prove to them that the review is fraudulent. Going through their reporting process is a complete waist of time because they do nothing about it. I plan to exit this company as soon as possible. Do yourself a favor and go with another review company
On too many occasions Trust pilot have deleted perfectly reasonable reviews I and my colleagues have left citing reasons in their guidelines but never actually saying which ones or where the review itself oversteps the line... they just delete it. You can ask but you will be told "sorry, ticket closed". Its this level of disingenuous censorship which is harming the very openness that the likes of Trustpilot are supposed to stand for. Genuinely not to be trusted. And if the bad reviews are being mysteriously censored it stands to logic they are allowing or encouraging or even manipulating the positive feedbacks. Dark times.
Tip for consumers:
avoid, not to be trusted

I ordered food from this takeaway and did not get the food. They said it had been delivered although no one verified through phone or email! They were very unhelpful in correcting this! Do not order from this place. Very untrustworthy. I had to put 1 star as I couldn't choose 0 which I would have.
Tip for consumers:
Please do not use this takeaway! Unless you want to be ripped off.

Trustpilot is full of fake reviews written by companies. If you write an honest review about a bad company such as booksrun.com (they always pay less for books than their quote, saying "conditions weren't met"), the company can flag the review and Trustpilot takes it down. Do NOT use Trustpilot for authentic information.
Tip for consumers:
Run away from Booksrun!! Their prices will always rate as the highest on bookscouter.com, but they will get your books and downgrade what they pay you. Look up other reviews---this is apparently their business model.

I sold books---once they have them you can't get them back. I sold NEW books to booksrun and they downgraded them. When I offered to pay shipping to have them returned (because I knew they were lying), I could not get them back.
Many reviewers had the same experience.
Companies who pay for their service get a good score, companies who don't get bad reviews.
They help their paying customers to get genuine reviews removed and don't care about fake 5-Star reviews as long as the company pays them.
Genuine reviewers have to spend hours to document their experience and still then, their reviews are not put online again.
On the other hand, reviewers can report fake reviews as many times as they like and nothing happens.
Never ever trust Trustpilot. Any other review site is better.
Tried to report/review gsrtpay.com with them as a scam, but despite my very detailed first hand experience of dealing with gsrtpay, Trustpilot would not publish my review. They kept emailing me back and forth asking for documents to support the scam. I dont get it. Seems they are either supporting scams or just not interested in negative reviews. Maybe Trustpilot is a scam too. Who knows.
Tip for consumers:
Save your time and money. Don't trust Trustpilot.
No. Definitely Trustpilot is a corrupt review site which seems protect many corporation especially in the gambling industry. I made some negative legit reviews about some online poker sites and online Casinos and Trustpilot rejected to make my reviews public. They accused me as a boot or as a scammer. Never trust Trustpilot. The worst of all review sites in the whole net.
Tip for consumers:
Never trust someone who use the word "Trust..." in their name.

I had my genuine reviews edited and or removed from TrustPilot 3 times and in addition they will propagate fraudulent sites with multiple Good ratings that appear to be spurious only to enhance the scams and illegal activities that these sites are involved in (usually money and solicitation related). Please do not use TrustPilot, and please expose them on every occasion.
I wrote a review of a company with which I had a very poor business experience, hoping to warn other potential "victims" of possible disappointment with their purchases. I was notified a few days later that my review was being taken down since my purchase could not be verified, or something to that effect. I was given no instructions about providing verification, so I just let them go their way. True to their word, they took my review down and, in so doing, denied others the chance to hear from someone who had a bad experience keep them from suffering the same fate. Sorry. Sorry. Sorry.
I posted a review of ID.me on trust pilot that was, like many, overwhelmingly negative. However trustpilot provides a loophole for crappy companies. They require documentation from posters (and suggests screen shots) when the crappy company complains. In the real world, who documents this sort of thing when they're spending two hours online trying to navigate a poorly designed website? I can only speculate that there's some sort sort of revenue stream associated with the ability to delist negative reviews. I won't bother with Trustpilot again.

Trustpilot is one of this horrible companies who try to blackmail you in a new online way. They just have some negative reviews, and then get in touch with you to inform you that there is a 'paid method' to get some influence in your reviews. Thats exactly like the 'organise a problem, and let the person pay for security' blackmail method. For me this company is useless, terrible & should be reviewed as fraud.
Like many others have concluded, Trustpilot is not worthy of their name and should be investigated. I posted an honest review of a company that provided really poor service and this was removed quite quickly under the guise of; "your review is under investigation". Although contacted twice, Trustpilot never bothered to get back to me and also appear to have removed my negative review about their company. I found it strange that the number of people that viewed my review suddenly froze at a low number relative to what I assume is a large number of people that visit their website and are curious about TrustPilot's rating. I suspect that the control of reviews is linked to the company's need to making money and remain profitable.
I would advise people to avoid this company as it is not fit for purpose and a waste of precious time.
Very poor service received from the team. Rude conduct, interrupting us over the phone when trying to explain our worries, not responding for weeks on email. Totally ignoring our concerns, and the only moment when they are contacting us was only to cash in the monthly invoice. A lot of our clients are already unsubscribed from their lists, so the service that are pretending they're providing is not useful as our clients do not want to effectively make a review on Trustpilot website. Really useless this Trustpilot reviews system, and is being taking over by free services and more efficient like Google reviews or other platforms which are free and don't have such a poor name among the public.
Tip for consumers:
Avoid, use google reviews, better, free and more efficient

I had wrote a review on a gaming company called Eneba month ago and trust pilot decided to take it down even after I sent the proof of everything that had happened. They are fake reviews and paid off scum. I told them leave the truth up or I'll put a review up stating how shady they are on company's selling stolen game accounts. Hey trust pilot fist of many you dirt balls. This sensitive cheesy world needs to wake the hell up. Internet douchery like trust pilot is why people don't get heard. Ty p.s. hope you like your fake statement you sent me after I went through hell to show proof.
Tip for consumers:
Don't review there or do and see the end joke

They support criminals on the web. They refuse to remove scam sites from their website. Tons of evidence was sent to trustpilot regarding one company, which posts fake reviews for themsels...
Still no action was taken against.
Very bad experience with trustpilot. Stay away from them
If you drill down to the reviews and read them, you can get good information. The problem is, the algorithm for companies with only a few reviews is poor - for example, a company that has three 1* reviews (it's a scam company - steals credit card details online and sets up monthly charges) has a Trustpilot rating of 2.8 stars. If you didn't drill down, you'd think it wasn't too bad. When I wrote customer service, I got a canned response each time that failed to address my question. Finally, on the SEVENTH e-mail, I got a live person - who still failed to address my concern. Trustpilot is not that trustworthy unless you drill down and read each review.
They removed my honest review of Pimeyes.com, even though I had plenty of evidence to back it up. There has been a couple of companies with which this has happened. When emailing their content integrity team, they wrote back 6 weeks later basically saying that my complaint has been disregarded.
I didn't realise how untrustworthy Trustpilot is until now. If the company pay them enough money, they can have negative reviews flagged and removed. Similarly, if you are a business and you do not pay them, even if you have tons of good reviews, your rating does not reflect that. Buyer beware!
They banned me for Posting an honest Review for Chumba Casino. I do have 2 emails that i use but sent them my Drivers License over. They still refuse to listen amd rather call me a liar. It seems to be the norm considering Im not the only one who says this about them.
Tip for consumers:
They Might Ban you

We have a great website and customer satisfaction at gelatoseeds.com but the problem is that when deceitful customers talk trash on Trustpilot there is nothing you as a business can do about it. Trustpilot lets any jerk write a bad review and makes it impossible for a good business to remove fraudulent demeaning reviews. Trustpilot should vet new reviewers more successfully.
Everytime I write a review it gets deleted by them a couple days later saying they can't verify it! Of course you can't verify it. How are you suppose to know? The reviews are negative reviews I feel the public has a right to know about if they are searching for reviews of an online business. Going to have to put reviews on other sites. Now some person may lose money and not get a refund or their package because trust pilot won't let any of my reviews stay on their website. What's the point of the site if they are going to take every review down? Stick with pissed consumer!
