We monitor reviews for authenticity
These people defend terrible companies by helping remove poor reviews.
They also allow obviously incentivized positive reviews.
Impossible to leave a negative review.
What's the point of a review site where only positive reviews can be left? Useless.
This site is the KING of all thieves. They get paid to remove negative reviews. Every time I post a negative review about a business, within 15 minutes it is removed telling me that their software flagged it as suspicious. Really? You have God or angels working on your side who can just tell lby looking at the review that the review is suspicious. Please stay away from this site and do not trust their reviews. 5 star reviews never get deleted, but only negative reviews get deleted. This site is another YELP.
We recently reviewed or lack of service with one of Trustpilots customers. We have posted 2 reviews both highly critical of their customer.
Trustpilot came back at us saying our reviews were flagged by their customer as fake and asked us to provide proof that we had a service with that customer and the issues that were not resolved. We did so.
Today April 21 2021 got another email from them stating our second critical review was flagged and removed as fake and to provide proof.
They never have restored the FIRST review after providing proof. And now have removed the second review.
That way there if somebody looks up their customer they see nothing but positive glowing reviews.
The BBB site tells a different story about both their customer & Trustpilot. Numerous complaints, most unresolved but lots of lip service saying they tried to resolve.
Trustpilot is almost as bad as their customer for dishonesty and bias. What's the sense in having a review system if the reviewing company is as crooked as the customers?
Let's not beat about the bush. They only care about getting money from companies and I have no problem with that, my problem is this gives the companies too much power are able to influence the rating they receive
For instance they're able to send out unlimited reviews to people so you'll see hundreds of reviews for the top companies everyday. I'm very sceptical to believe that people think I'll just sign up for trustpilot and leave great feedback on the company and there's nothing in it for me. Why would they?
Most of the 5 star reviews don't make sense and seem to be bots too. A lot of people seem to leave reviews from other companies on the trustpilot page. You see people complaining their dress was too small or how the item was faulty. They're so dumb they're leaving it on the wrong page
When you complain to trustpilot they protest and say they don't tolerate fake reviews and to report them, but when there are hundreds a day I don't have time to click report and why should I? Its not my job
They do have integrity software but the only time that applies is when bad feedback is left. Then by magic it is triggered and your review is removed. They never remove 5 star reviews I've noticed
The companies can also get bad reviews removed, they say they don't believe you've had a genuine experience and your review is removed. This is from the very same companies that are full of 5 star fake reviews. Trustpilot say they don't delete bad reviews but what they do is hide them so nobody can see them which is just the same
Trustpilot seem obsessed with getting reviews about themselves. They have 250 000 reviews and are rated great. What kind of review site reviews itself? It's embarrassing. From that I can gather they literally bombard people with emails hassling them to leave reviews. I mean who really thinks I'll set up an account to say how great trustpilot is? Most of the reviews seem fake and just say nonsense such as 'you can trust trustpilot ' or 'trustpilot is amazing' They really expect people to believe that?
I left a bad review for trustpilot and their integrity team removed it and I needed to prove it was genuine and I had to send them proof it was real by sending an invoice which is impossible as I was leaving my comment on the number of dubious reviews
Bottom line is they can't be trusted and seem totally narcissistic and care only about harvesting 5 star reviews for themselves. Whenever I see a company bragging how high their rating is on Trustpilot I just laugh as it carries no weight with me
I know I'm not the only one who's experienced this. You write a review criticizing a certain company, based on a bad (or several bad) experiences. Then some robot send you an email telling you that YOU'RE a robot and deletes your complaint. So it's pretty obvious what this garbage site is doing. They're giving people an opportunity to write a review so they can discredit them and God knows what else... give your email address to the comoany your criticising perhaps? I wrote 100% honest reviews of Chatroulette and Chatrubate, even going through the trouble of rewriting them several times. But it was never good enough. Why? The more closer I got to the truth the more Trustpilot resented me for it. Bottom line: Trustpilot is the complete opposite of transparent and are probably in the pockets of all these companies. They are a complete scam and judging from the behavior of other, more well known, tech sites that continue to flourish, aren't going anywhere any time soon. Big tech is inherently corrupt. Everybody is in everybody's pockets. Leftist dinosaurs sold out an became the establishment and their disease infest so much of what we take for granted. They want to brainwash and engineer us. That said, I wouldn't be surprised if this review also disappears.
This site works with companies to put up lies while taking down the truthful reviews. Never trust the reviews on this site.
I wrote a negative review about testingmom.com LLC (because they scammed me and charged me without authorization, they are extremely dishonest people) and it gets pull down from trustpilot right away. Companies pay for these reviews to be all the time positive. In short Trustpilot is a big scam do not trust the reviews on that websites. 99% of reviews are fake, and paid for it by companies that hire truspilot.
My review was deleted and they didn't tell me why either. They say "Trustpilot is committed to transparency." but clearly aren't. Also, sometimes when you try to post a review or log in. "Whoops!" will pop up. It's the most annoying error message since it tells you nothing.
After sending what they wanted in proof they say they are deleting my bad review. Time after time. This company only puts up positive fake reviews. Do not use them to search any companies. All reviews are lies and bad ones get taken off.
As a former Content Creator on YouTube/YT, I noted a review on Trustpilot regarding YT Corruption or Content Creator Harassment/Abuses. Shortly after the review, I received notice from Trustpilot that my review was muted because it was "false". Trust, my review was from a legit experience and can be proven (and will be). Most importantly, I strongly believe that YT (who is also Google) demanded that Trustpilot ban my review to protect YouTube.
In short, Trustpilot is a JOKE and just a CORRUPT as YT/Google, claiming to be a platform/voice for "the people", but in truth, a puppet for big businesses, like YT! Trustpilot and YT will get theirs: we reap what we sow: it's simply a matter of when!
Stay away from this site. Specially if you want to deal something real. If you want to find something real and wants to know the true about a company then trustpilot is not trusted. All fake and cheap purchased reviews they publish. Do not believe these!
So I was hesitant on buying it on another site for less But They proved me Wrong (I bought minecraft a minecraft code) Ima Def be buying from them again. Recommended
Removed my review without any notification or email notice sent. It is hard to find an honest review site that is not biased towards businesses that treat their customers unfair.
Trustpilot remove genuine reviews for no reason.
They are a joke company who fail to respond when challenged. Scam company with too much bs reviews
They keep taking out the bad reviews and they are getting paid by those scam companies to just show good reviews. Stay away from trustpilot and find another place to write a review.
I have purchased two sun screens from Ella MD, do not waste your money on the tinted one, because it stained my capris so bad that I had to throw them out. The non tinted one is OK. LD BOYNTON
I went through the trouble to add a personal review for an company that I purchase services from and their software flagged it as fake. When I submitted copies of my receipts the review was not reinstated. I have reached out to them three times, no reply. They either have horrible customer service or purposely trying to take down small businesses. If companies are going to depend on them for their lively hood then they need to step up and provide a fair service. Do NOT trust Trustpilot, their reviews are skewed due to bad management or worse, purposely.
Unethical sales process, they get you in and then 1 year later bump up the price by 8x (800%) without fair notice. Then make it difficult to cancel.
Try calling their customer support line before you sign up... hours on hold... that will tell you all you need to know about how much they care about their customers.
So -- the service itself is fine. We have been a customer of TrustPilot for many years.
However, due to a change in company ownership, we are switching to an alternative review platform. This change happened near the end of our billing period. Rather than gracefully letting us cancel, even though we have no need of their service, they are forcing us to "honor our contract" and pay for an entire year of service even if we have no need for using it.
Not only that, our bill "mysteriously" rose by nearly 2,000 this year even though we have not made any active use of their service.
On one hand, I understand their contract needs cancellation by a certain date and we missed that deadline. On the other hand, our company would never treat a customer who did not want to use our product this way, and I feel both disappointed and ripped off that they are completely OK with billing for a year of service that is unwanted based on an automatically renewing contract.
I would recommend one of the many high-quality alternatives.
I posted a review of flighttrotters.ca, that they are scammers, I gave enough proofs including booking reference code for my Montreal-Mumbai round trip flight but still trustpilot doesn't trust and all of a sudden they ask more proofs and you get only 3 days to reply. I missed to reply within 3 days and they removed my review, so I made another post with more proofs including mails from flighttrotters.ca but they did the same again in two-three months. They removed it again. Trustpilot cannot be trusted and flighttrotters.ca is a scam, but if you visit trustpilot, flighttrotters.ca has 4.5 stars out of 5 but rest review website has really poor rating on flighttrotters.ca
Answer: Simple it is their website so they remove reviews that are negative just like how they let complains report negative reviews on their website. Trustpilot is not a good website the company allows companys to report reviews and since the companys pay them many reviews are taken off and removed..
