BEWARE of TWO DAY PAINTERS! Estimator was totally off estimate and quality of performance of painters and schedule! Estimator told us it would take two days to complete, it took over 3 weeks! They were to fix cracks and holes as they went along, they said NO we paint first then we fix walls! The color was all wrong! I was charged then an extra 85$ per hour per man, to repaint the walls they had originally painted with wrong color! I did not agree to 85$ per man! I agreed to 85$ per hour! And why is it my fault the paint color was wrong! Now I gotta pay extra to repaint walls! I felt I was getting scammed cuz I totally told them on the first coat it was not the right color, but they continued! There was no direction there from anyone! They spoke very little English! They ate pistachios and left there empty shells on my new furniture and throughout the house! They stood around and watched the paint dry cuz they had no paint for the walls yet! I reached out to the office and got no response! When they completed the project they did not move furniture back! I've spoken with management there, told him of our experience and also how one of them called us out and try to say we did not ask them to fix holes and cracks! He was not nice about it and raised his voice to my husband and I and in front of his crew! I was then reluctant to bring up anymore errors they had done! They painted over wallpaper residue in loft and in hallway! They charged me 85$ per hour per man for this crappy service! They also got paint on my carpet and woodwork! I have also reached out to Sherwin Williams and they agreed with me about the color! The color was agreeable gray! I got white walls and blue hues! Sherwin Williams said that's incorrect that paint is greigy! And never white or blue! What I think may have gone wrong is this, since some of them can't speak very little English, they maybe probably can't read English? So maybe they were mixing the white ceiling paint with the gray wall paint and maybe that's why the walls were so different throughout! But overall I've reached out to management they sent email saying they would credit me 300$ but only if I agreed to not write a bad review! I told them to keep it! I was expecting a refund of bogus hours charged! They don't have an accurate account of charging hours! They write down hours on a piece of paper and there's no one there from start to finish to observe this indeed where accurate hours being charged! So you basically take there word for it! Example, Caesar asked rodrigo how long it took him to paint staircase walls to basement one coat, his response was oh like 3 hours! I said REALLY! There's no accurate amount of hours being charged!
3 hours for one coat! That's when I knew something was wrong! Ok so my walls look better than what they were, however our expectations of professional painters and there's was totally off! Faceplates were taken off, but they still managed to get paint on switches! They used our shop vac and didn't empty it and didn't put back in basement! Also our large fan! This has been an overall worst experience and disappointment! I should've just done it myself!
