Allen and Christian were so friendly and helpful. They did a wonderful job. I would definitely use them again! Thank you!
I waited 6+ months to write the review to be certain my review will not be emotional driven. I hired the company around Feb 2023 to do a long distance move, from Arkansas to Florida in May of 2023. From a two bedroom apartment on the third floor (2 flights of stairs, about 30 steps) to a two bedroom apartment on the first floor (1 flight of stair, about 12 steps). All seem professional, their representative (a lady) came to my home in Arkansas to assess all the furniture and amount of items. She saw all my big/heavy hardwood furniture, wall mirrors/paintings, a wall of books, special care items such as a 150lbs statue, an antique wooden trunk, etc. She assured me, "No problem." She spent an extensive amount of time on explaining how they do not move thru a third party truck company in between enroute. Hence, the guys I see in AR shall be the same ones in FL. That part was true. "No worries, we even handle the move for the governor, you are in good hands." To this day, the only "emotional" remark I would make is, "I guess since I am not the governor, I got a very different service/experience." There was no trouble with the actual moving date, on the contrary. Upon arrival. A Pensake truck and two guys. It is indeed "Two Men and A Truck". Although I was starting to worry, "How will the two of you move my things to the truck without breaking your back?" Then, I noticed, to my horror, how. Labels with "this side up" or "fragile" did not matter, everything was stacked however it could fit on a handheld trolley. I watched my belongings "bounced their way each step of the way down 2 flights of stairs" by one man and a trolley. That was how my dryer, washer, 7 feet long sideboard, boxes of wine glasses, etc. made their way... I have moved many times, I never saw a moving company this disrespectful to one's belongings. Anyone can tell, those two men were exhausted for it was a minimally 3 men job. They had to take many breaks. One of them even threw up. It was 80+ degrees in AR. Five hours later, they were still loading the truck and that was when they told me, my 6 feet wall mirrors will not make it to the truck... Well, the lady who came to assess did a list on the manifest, my understanding, all items on the list have to make it. That was why I used a moving company and did not rent a Pensake truck myself. When I contacted the lady, she said, "Well, you got in their way to start with because you did not finish packing the kitchen, they should have been gone by now." After they left, I found that many other items were left behind, including a must move by them statue that weights 150lb... A lot more nightmares in between, end result, it took them just as long to unload "without me being in the way." All my wood furniture were damaged, chipped, doors not closing, trunk lid totally broken off... I left a review at Consumer Affairs with greater details for those who are interested. Summing up my experience, "unprofessional, horrific customer service and solution, disrespectful to one's items, irresponsible, not even the cheapest" Not only I will never recommend, I am writing a review to spare others.

I had 2 men and a truck (minivan) move a bed and some recliners from bedroom to bedroom and living room to bedroom on September 29,2023. They made some attempt to move furniture carefully, but were unaware that the bed frame of my adjustable (electric) bed had gouged part of the door frame to one room. It was not brought to my attention. Therefore I assume that they did not see the damage, or, did did say anything. One workman mentioned receiving a tip for their work before they started the job. They did bring to attention that an arm to my living room sofa-bed had missing screws and was damaged. I assume this was from recent guests who stayed with me during July. I called their office and left a voice message the next day and I m waiting for a return call. Their release of liability does not say anything about damage to the interior of a home.
I used them based on reviews and the Florence SC group is horrible. I had damaged items, broken items and lost items. Prices will change once they get your items and make claims of miss calculating the original quote of the move. Follow up with them takes forever, they will claim no fault and try to weasel out of responsibility for these issues. Do not use this company for anything. Stay away from the Florence SC group. They ask for a review within an hour of them moving you. Worst mistake I ever made.
The absolutely WORST MOVE in the complete history of Moving. Movers left numerous items behind including (1) 12' X 12' Antique Oriental 12th Century Rug (value $25,000 +/-), (2) full set of TUMI Leather Luggage, (value $6,000.00), (3) 65" Samsung TV Set including wall brackets, (4) Cooling Fan, (5) 5' Plastic Plants [2] (6) Baccarat Crystal Wine Pitcher and Glasses (7) CPAP Machine Required For Breathing Which Now Has Payee Hospitalized (8) 2 Bathroom Rugs, 2 Indoor Trash Cans, 1 Laundry Hamper, various bathroom tissue, sundries, etc.
Tip for consumers:
Do NOT USE 2 Men And A Truck (Davie Franchise) unless you liked to be separated from your money AND obtain NO SERVICES!
On 09/23/2023, I hired Two Men and Truck to move my two queen mattresses and piano. Their website claimed they had a professionally trained team to handle piano moves. However, when three black men arrived at my apartment, they panicked upon seeing the piano and called their boss via video chat. Despite their efforts, they were unable to move the piano. They did manage to move the two queen mattresses but charged my credit card $474.00 for their unsuccessful service.
As a result, I had to hire a different company on 09/25/2023 to move my piano and paid them $380. I found the staff of Two Men and Truck to be rude and unprofessional. Despite my request for a refund, they refused to return my money. I am extremely disappointed with their service and will make sure to inform others of my experience.

Recently, I used tow men and a truck to move my 1 bedroom apt. Maybe 5 miles locally. Here is what I got.
2 guys show up late.
Not one moving dolly.
Not one moving blanket.
1 1/2 hour lunch break.
Used my tools to disassemble bed frame.
Used my SS trash can to hold elevator. Cruched.
Unwilling to move some items.
Placed all stuff in living room. They would not distribute.
Gave a tip and never got my change back.
Totally unprofessional.
Very expensive for the job.
Ruined furniture using tape to keep drawers closed.
Will I recomend? NEVER USE AGAIN!
These movers were the worse ones my wife and i ever had. We had two trucks and four guys doing our move. One of the guys had drank 7 shots the night before and threw up during the move and they tried to say it was due to our house. In addition, they disappeared for periods of between a half hour and an hour, but still charged for the time they were gone. They did not treat our belongs very well in that when they were offloading, they were having races to see who could go down the ramp with boxes the fastest. We also had some clothese and beding in a black garbage bag. They pulled some of the items out and were swinging them abovce their heads like cowboys trying to lasso something.
No wonder we had a number of broken items. As i continue to unpack, i am still finging items they broke. Some other furniture was also damaged. When they were not able to get all items moved, i called to try to schedule a date to finish moving of the rest and to tell them about the over-charge and damage, they were more interested in complaining about how unsanitary our house had been and were not sure they wanted to finish the job. They did however charge for a second move even though they did not do any work. If i could rate them negative stars i would because this was the worse move my wife and i have had and we have had 4 or 5 moves in the past. I would not recommend these guys at all.
I'm very disappointed in this company. I tried really hard not to leave a bad review, however; with no response after reporting the movers had broke my door, said it was already broken, and charged me the time for fixing is unacceptable. When a representative called and ask how was the service, I explained what happened to my door and ask for a partial refund; i explained that the workers took atleast 4 breaks and was openly smoking from a pen...he said he'd speak with management and call back. As of today, there is still no call. I looked at my vanity, and the lock was broken and placed in the vanity drawer. I would never use this company again. The movers are horrible, and the office workers are liars, they tell you what you want to hear in order to get off the phone.

This is a horrible company. Unless you want to be ripped off, have your things stolen or damaged without compensation, stay far far away! I have now read 100's of extremely negative comments regarding this company. They have numerous unresolved complaints on the BBB website. Beware, avoid at all costs.
Tip for consumers:
Do not for any reason call this company!

None. They were a no-show on our moving date after making a credit card reservation.
My move occurred one month ago the charges were paid in full as the movers were finished now one month later I see a charge, not even the card that was used to pay for the move.
They were paid 100% they verified before they left not one month later they're charging $1,500 to my other account totally fraudulent. Do not use this company for your move.
Allen and Christian were so friendly and helpful. They did a wonderful job. I would definitely use them again! Thank you!
These clowns are horrible. They moved someone into my complex today. They showed up here not one of them wearing a mask. I asked them to wear one and they told me to f*** off they dont have to. Then for 6 hours they left the common way door open allowing cold air to come in. They were advised by all the current residents to please keep the door shut as we pay to heat that hallway all combined. They again to us to f*** off they can do as they want. Then they cursed out my neighbor when he came home and snapped on them for the way the acted and they call maintenance as claimed they were being harassed. We all have video proof of it. Very unprofessional company. They dont care at all. Cant even follow mask mandates to protect their clients and neighbors of their clients.
My experience with Two men and a truck was as an innocent bystander but their lack of communication and accountability is relevant regardless of your dealings with them. These are both things I'd look for in a mover and if you agree, look elsewhere.
A bit over a week ago, while stopped at a red light, one of their trucks bumped me from behind, not a crash - a simple slip of his foot off the break but truck vrs car and I lose. Visible bumper damage but could have been far worse. Wait nearly an hour for the quality control person to arrive, but again, traffic is what it is. He asked for me to get a quote and letting them pay for it rather than going to insurance - I told him I would but that time was a major factor since I'm moving out of Austin in a very short time.
I provided a very reasonable quote the following day, the rep said he'd arrange a rental and we'd get on it ASAP. It's been a week and despite my sending email/text and leaving a vm for he, and the owner, I've been Ghosted. Now I'm 3 weeks from moving to Florida with a busted bumper. I will submit to their insurance but this need not have been an issue at all, the damage was less than 2K. If they will treat me this way over small potatoes, what will they do to you?
After THEY cancelled the job on the same day I was then charged a $275 cancellation fee AND they then fraudulently charged my credit card $1100 for a job that did not happen. When disputed with the credit card company, the sales team at Two Men and A Truck sent in false information and lied, making up a job THEY DID NOT DO. No move occurred, none of our possessions were loaded or moved by them yet we are out over $1300. Management and Sales team are extremely unprofessional and rude. They do not deserve your business.
I used Two Men and a Truck in Washington DC for just packing services, DON'T DO IT. I was 100% gaslit and they took advantage.
1. When my movers arrived (different company a few days later) before moving any boxes they began to show me that the one piece of tape holding the boxes together was completely open, that the bottom of the boxes HAD NO TAPE so when they lifted all my belongings fell out, and that the boxes were overpacked. When bringing up these issues to two men and a truck I was asked how they could know it wasn't the movers fault (i had video of the boxes on the day they were packed 3 days prior to the movers), that I seemed happy day of so why was I upset now and that the burden fell on my as the customer to in real time life the boxes/check the tape to ensure it was up to moving standards (I am not an expert it is why I hired a PROFESSIONAL packing company). They were only willing to refund me $75 the cost of the materials they brought that I used. They do not care that this level of packing is representative of their reputation.
2. The packers did not bring enough packing material so I had to pay for ubers both ways to go to a hardware store to get more packing materials with one of the movers after they had already taken more time than expected.
3. The packers stated their driving time was much longer than it was and only when pressed on the exorbitant charge did the management check the GPS to change the cost.
Overall, the management spoke to me multiple times. They claimed to make concessions (rectifying their own miscalculations) and fully put the blame on me for their poor quality. My movers asked me if I packed the boxes myself that is how bad this company is.
The office lady is a joke. I have email proof and 3 phone calls that my family and I confirmed for 06/25/2022 between 8 and 9 am. At 910 am I called the company and this lady said oh I had you confirmed for 07/25/2022. I don't have anybody. Do your self a favor and avoid this place because incompetence is one thing but a liar is another.

Moving is a terrible experience but they made it much better and easier with there professionalism courtesy. They worked with us to even change our moving day! Special thanks to keenan the manager who got us good workers was flexible and timely. Very Professionally done! Can't thank them or recommend them enough.
I had used Two men and a truck 4 times for all my moves. My recent experience was the worst I've ever had. My quote was for 4.5 to 5 hours at an estimated total of $1400. I had everything packed in boxes with the exclusion of our record collection which was all in crates (and we previously advised them of this during the quote). It took them 10 hours to move and they charged us double what we were quoted. They were incredibly disorganized and careless. All boxes were clearly labeled, yet they left boxes wherever, stacking heavier items on top of items clearly labeled "fragile". My entire dish set was completely shattered! Other items were broken, furniture chipped and floor scratched. I've been trying for a month to speak to someone and get a resolution but they don't seem to care about their customers because they don't call me back. The movers seemed to be purposely taking longer to move items and lied about the number of furniture pieces we had when they reported their final report to their bosses. Will never use them again as they hold no accountability or respect for their customers.
I did not have the best experience with my move. The movers were friendly, but apart of my desk was broken by one of the movers. Also, I had a box of cleaning supplies from the laundry room contained gallons of bleach. One mover told me he could not carry certain items on the truck and asked me to unlock my car so he can put a few boxed items in the back seat. The mover put the box in side ways and not flat down to fit more items in the back seat. I noticed I needed to take the two boxes out of my car after the move was completed and noticed the smell of bleach. I immediately moved my boxes and saw that some bleach spilled out on the back seat of my car on my leather seat. I reached out to the company and I was advised they would not be compensating me for any damage done by the bleach spill. Overall, horrible experience!

Moving Service
Moved from my three bedroom home in July Requested experienced movers. They sent one with a couple years of experience and a fella who had been on the job for 3 days. Spent an inordinate amount of time wrapping furniture with plastic wrap even though I purchased 20 blankets from them to protect wood furniture. Many wood pieces damaged. Couch had grease on it as did chairs. Move cost $1545. 00 for two miles move. Estimator was way off and men with experience could have done it more efficiently..
Worse decision that I ever made was selecting this company to move my furniture! Every piece of large furniture that the three guys moved three miles for me was damaged beyond repair! The guys moved everything without wrapping items properly and dropping items sideways! Then I was asked to email them receipts from my furniture and I easily did because my furniture wasn't even a year old yet and days later said that I should have read the contract because if anything gets damaged they only offer $. 60 (SIXTY SENSE) per a pound if it's beyond repair! The trash service handles dumpsters better then this company handled my furniture! Jefferson, New Orleans location!
The moving crew was good but after they left I discovered that my dryer pedestal would not stay shut and my sleep number bed would not work properly. I called three times to see if they would pay for the repairs because when I hired them they sai they would cover damages up to a certain amount. No one ever returned my call. I would not recommend them as they don't stand by their claim that they would cover damages!
Absolutely the WORST moving experience EVER and as a retired military spouse, my family has moved a lot! Prior to the move, nothing but nice and professional but the day of... the exact opposite. They were the cheapest quote and I got what I paid for two men and a truck I guess the bad attitudes and unprofessional were just a tip. Lesson learned, never again will I use them.
They pick up people from the street to do the moving and are not careful with abby if your belongings
They charged me over $1,000 to move a 1 bedroom across the street. I mean I could of moved faster than they did…. They moved VERY SLOWLY and took over 5 hours. Of course they blamed me regarding the time it took. Please do not use them ever!
