“Ignorant movers.”

These clowns are horrible. They moved someone into my complex today. They showed up here not one of them wearing a mask. I asked them to wear one and they told me to f*** off they dont have to. Then for 6 hours they left the common way door open allowing cold air to come in. They were advised by all the current residents to please keep the door shut as we pay to heat that hallway all combined. They again to us to f*** off they can do as they want. Then they cursed out my neighbor when he came home and snapped on them for the way the acted and they call maintenance as claimed they were being harassed. We all have video proof of it. Very unprofessional company. They dont care at all. Cant even follow mask mandates to protect their clients and neighbors of their clients.

I'm very disappointed in this company. I tried really hard not to leave a bad review, however; with no response after reporting the movers had broke my door, said it was already broken, and charged me the time for fixing is unacceptable. When a representative called and ask how was the service, I explained what happened to my door and ask for a partial refund; i explained that the workers took atleast 4 breaks and was openly smoking from a pen...he said he'd speak with management and call back. As of today, there is still no call. I looked at my vanity, and the lock was broken and placed in the vanity drawer. I would never use this company again. The movers are horrible, and the office workers are liars, they tell you what you want to hear in order to get off the phone.

Worse decision that I ever made was selecting this company to move my furniture! Every piece of large furniture that the three guys moved three miles for me was damaged beyond repair! The guys moved everything without wrapping items properly and dropping items sideways! Then I was asked to email them receipts from my furniture and I easily did because my furniture wasn't even a year old yet and days later said that I should have read the contract because if anything gets damaged they only offer $. 60 (SIXTY SENSE) per a pound if it's beyond repair! The trash service handles dumpsters better then this company handled my furniture! Jefferson, New Orleans location!

Absolutely the WORST moving experience EVER and as a retired military spouse, my family has moved a lot! Prior to the move, nothing but nice and professional but the day of... the exact opposite. They were the cheapest quote and I got what I paid for two men and a truck I guess the bad attitudes and unprofessional were just a tip. Lesson learned, never again will I use them.

Build a new home and hired this company to move my household goods based on friend recommendation. Good part was they sent 4 men and a truck, although one was fairly lazy. Another good part is that they neatly wrapped everything for protection, although they did not wrap one of the lamps and it got chipped. The move out was fine. The move into the new home was almost a disaster. They tried to get a couch in our upstairs room and couldn't. They proceeded to damage the door frame doing so and nicked the walls in the hall and the upstairs. Lazy guy tracked mud all over our new bedroom carpet. Contacted them about the damage. They sent some "slug" out to repair. He slopped paint on the walls and was about to use plastic wood to repair the door frame. Told him no go, not doing that. I got them to reimburse me for the door frame and hired someone to replace it and also properly paint the walls. My expense the labor was $300 but I gives me peace of mind that the work was done right.

I booked them for a Saturday to move my son from one apartment to another. They gave me a new hour arrival time and they where an hour late. They moved half of his things onto the truck and then said they saw a bedbug and refused to complete the move. Then after they moved everything back into the apartment they told me that this was the second time this had happened today. Maybe the bedbugs came from where they just came from.?
Then they tried to bill me, thank goodness I put this on my American Express card.

The office lady is a joke. I have email proof and 3 phone calls that my family and I confirmed for 06/25/2022 between 8 and 9 am. At 910 am I called the company and this lady said oh I had you confirmed for 07/25/2022. I don't have anybody. Do your self a favor and avoid this place because incompetence is one thing but a liar is another.

I had to pay for a guy to complain on the phone for 45 minutes. Then when they came to deliver he magically couldn't help as his knee was hurt and cussed frequently in front of me and my children. All my furniture was scratched and guys refused to put it where I asked. Meanwhile dealing with the death of a parent. Never again will I hire this company

The Fort Wayne, IN franchise is awesome. Nice caring people who work efficiently and take care of your belongings. The move was completed in October 2018.

The Fishers IN franchise is terrible. They dropped two boxes and destroyed the contents. The worst part was that two items were stolen. The move was completed in October 2019.

Coffee table with glass inserts was received without the glass. This makes the coffee table useless. I have contacted the company in Knoxville several times and was told they would look into it. No response from the company has been received.

Recently, I used tow men and a truck to move my 1 bedroom apt. Maybe 5 miles locally. Here is what I got.
2 guys show up late.
Not one moving dolly.
Not one moving blanket.
1 1/2 hour lunch break.
Used my tools to disassemble bed frame.
Used my SS trash can to hold elevator. Cruched.
Unwilling to move some items.
Placed all stuff in living room. They would not distribute.
Gave a tip and never got my change back.
Totally unprofessional.
Very expensive for the job.
Ruined furniture using tape to keep drawers closed.

Will I recomend? NEVER USE AGAIN!

This company's goal of "exceeding your expectations" fell woefully short! Our move's original assessment & booking was done thru Jackson, MI office, however due to COVID outbreak among some of their staff, Lansing, MI office took the job. Poor communication between the 2 locations resulting in cost exceeding our initial quote by $1500, 14 hrs to move a mere 2 miles (if that) away & still MANY items left unpacked, unmoved. This also due in part to packers sent to our home the day prior to the move who were not very dilligent workers. Neither location willing to take responsibility nor compensate us in any way for our dissatisfaction. Appalling! This company's slogan should be "we pass the buck@ Two Men & a Truck". Better yet a more fitting mantra: GOOD LUCK if u hire Two men & a truck.
Sincerely,
P. Eason

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK moved all my furniture fifty miles. Every thing arrived in good shape. I gave them a solid oak table and 4 chairs. There were three young people. There truck was backed up to my garage to unload my furniture. I was very busy in the kitchen with installers when the girl from the moving company came to me and asked for a tip so I gave her $1oo.oo for the three of them and they left. The next day i discovered 4handheld elelectic drills and a new small generator was and 4 solid oak t. V. tables were missing. These three young people were the only ones who access to my garage! I called the company and complained the lady on phone said the company screened their employees very well. She would not believe me.

We contracted them for a move from Connecticut to Massachusetts. We needed their largest truck but on moving day they only loaded it 80% full and the rest of our stuff would have fit. They said they were afraid of being overweight. So we needed to have a 2nd truck come the next day. The 2nd truck they sent was also their largest truck which only loaded about 20% full. The driver noted "this is ridiculous. Our Smallest truck would have been fine" for the remaining items. Not only did they rip us off for a 2nd truck, they ripped us off for their largest truck AND we had to contract w a 3rd party storage company because the 2nd truck couldn't make an interstate move on the same day. These guys are scam artists--hire them at your own peril.

Three movers arrived on time to load my items into a rental moving truck; two movers were younger (college-aged) men. While one admitted it was his first day, the other two seemed as if they'd worked together on previous moves. They took less time than originally quoted (a positive); however, when I went to check the truck at the end of the job, I found many boxes that were clearly labeled with "Up" and upward facing arrows lying on their sides, boxes tilted sideways, lighter boxes crushed underneath heavier boxes, and damage to the legs of at least two of my pieces of furniture. I provided blankets to use with the furniture, yet they were balled up in the corner in the end. Clearly these gentlemen did not care or did not have the experience/training to organize in a professional manner. After the movers departed, I spent time rearranging boxes and household items to relieve some of the pressure from crushed boxes and to be able to close the rolling truck door. I would expect much more competence and worker training from a company that charged me $500 for an hour of work. I would not hire this company again.

I had used Two men and a truck 4 times for all my moves. My recent experience was the worst I've ever had. My quote was for 4.5 to 5 hours at an estimated total of $1400. I had everything packed in boxes with the exclusion of our record collection which was all in crates (and we previously advised them of this during the quote). It took them 10 hours to move and they charged us double what we were quoted. They were incredibly disorganized and careless. All boxes were clearly labeled, yet they left boxes wherever, stacking heavier items on top of items clearly labeled "fragile". My entire dish set was completely shattered! Other items were broken, furniture chipped and floor scratched. I've been trying for a month to speak to someone and get a resolution but they don't seem to care about their customers because they don't call me back. The movers seemed to be purposely taking longer to move items and lied about the number of furniture pieces we had when they reported their final report to their bosses. Will never use them again as they hold no accountability or respect for their customers.

4 hours to move 1 full bed, two nightstands, 1 dresser and mirror, 1 light weight small desk, 1 light weight ratan sofa table, one dining table on small size, 1 recliner, two bookselves. And a few other furniture pieces, not heavy from JUNIOR apartment with approx 25 small and medium boxes and NO bulky things like sofa or refrigerator appliances. REALLY? Again, 4 Hours? Amazing, took 1.5 hours to unload.

I could venture to state more, but I wish to put my nightmare behind. Tip, call for quote you will always get someone to quote you. But try this first, call to talk about a dispute. How conveniently no one picks up or you have to leave a message. My quote was half of what I was charged... Up sold, overcharged and no prompt customer service to resve.

After THEY cancelled the job on the same day I was then charged a $275 cancellation fee AND they then fraudulently charged my credit card $1100 for a job that did not happen. When disputed with the credit card company, the sales team at Two Men and A Truck sent in false information and lied, making up a job THEY DID NOT DO. No move occurred, none of our possessions were loaded or moved by them yet we are out over $1300. Management and Sales team are extremely unprofessional and rude. They do not deserve your business.

I will never reccomend these people! I'm a stickler for customer service and their customer service left much to be desired. Firstly, they shouldn't take jobs they cannot adequately do, they decided they couldn't move a piece of my furniture up the stairs. That piece of furniture meant a lot to me, and I needed it. The men were extremely rude and wouldn't communicate with me. They only spoke around me to my relatives. The men were on their phones the whole time. It was very hurtful the way they handled my belongings! They threw stuff around. They broke my things. My grandmother told me to just let it go, that it wasn't a big deal, because, she thought the men were "darling". I don't think so! I really should've taken much further action!

My experience with Two men and a truck was as an innocent bystander but their lack of communication and accountability is relevant regardless of your dealings with them. These are both things I'd look for in a mover and if you agree, look elsewhere.

A bit over a week ago, while stopped at a red light, one of their trucks bumped me from behind, not a crash - a simple slip of his foot off the break but truck vrs car and I lose. Visible bumper damage but could have been far worse. Wait nearly an hour for the quality control person to arrive, but again, traffic is what it is. He asked for me to get a quote and letting them pay for it rather than going to insurance - I told him I would but that time was a major factor since I'm moving out of Austin in a very short time.

I provided a very reasonable quote the following day, the rep said he'd arrange a rental and we'd get on it ASAP. It's been a week and despite my sending email/text and leaving a vm for he, and the owner, I've been Ghosted. Now I'm 3 weeks from moving to Florida with a busted bumper. I will submit to their insurance but this need not have been an issue at all, the damage was less than 2K. If they will treat me this way over small potatoes, what will they do to you?

This company is missing honesty and integrity. Deceptive billing. They doubled the actual travel times to knock up the bill by a small amount they didn't think I would care about. I was given an excuse that it was a big truck and there was traffic (Wednesday 2pm traffic is nonexistent in London). I knew all destinations well and can ride a bicycle in the same time they gave me for travel, google maps agrees. I had someone present at the start location sign the invoice and they are standing behind the position that it was a signed estimate. I was under the belief as I was told before hand that they would charge me the actual time, not a random figure they decided between my estimated time window. Their go to point is that I was not there. I did however have them timed at the original and final destination on video at both places so their only defense was travel times and it was signed. There were no problems with the move just the easily documentable exaggerated costs. I used London, Ontario.

I needed to move 45 minutes away to a new location.

They charged me interstate fees of $1700, even though I moved all the boxes with a uhaul truck and they only had to move the big heavy furniture, they still charged me $1700 initial fee. I wanted it to go to their storage while my new house was having new flooring installed so later I found out I would have more charges when they brought it to me.

When I called to get it out of storage they wanted to charge me interstate fees again, and I told them I was only 15 minutes from their location. She finally said it would be half of the $1700 because there should not be interstate charges. So now I'm thinking they overcharged me on the first charge.

When my furniture was brought to me, a lot of the furniture had damage. Although most of it was minor, what looked like new furniture was now all dinged up and the worst damage was done to my hutch. They broke the support arm that bears the weight on one side. Although two bookcases were really damaged as well.

The mover that brought the furniture from storage said someone had removed the pads from half my stuff.

These movers were the worse ones my wife and i ever had. We had two trucks and four guys doing our move. One of the guys had drank 7 shots the night before and threw up during the move and they tried to say it was due to our house. In addition, they disappeared for periods of between a half hour and an hour, but still charged for the time they were gone. They did not treat our belongs very well in that when they were offloading, they were having races to see who could go down the ramp with boxes the fastest. We also had some clothese and beding in a black garbage bag. They pulled some of the items out and were swinging them abovce their heads like cowboys trying to lasso something.
No wonder we had a number of broken items. As i continue to unpack, i am still finging items they broke. Some other furniture was also damaged. When they were not able to get all items moved, i called to try to schedule a date to finish moving of the rest and to tell them about the over-charge and damage, they were more interested in complaining about how unsanitary our house had been and were not sure they wanted to finish the job. They did however charge for a second move even though they did not do any work. If i could rate them negative stars i would because this was the worse move my wife and i have had and we have had 4 or 5 moves in the past. I would not recommend these guys at all.

Worst customer service I have ever received in my life! This is the third time I have used this company because their movers do such a great job. With this last move, I had damage to my wall which was not a big deal becasue they have a service that will fix it. I was never contacted by them so, I called their "quality control" Dustin twice and left a message and contacted my orignial customer service person who said they would talk with Dustin. I never heard anything from either it was after two weeks. I contacted corporate since I was not getting any response and had to be out of my apartment in a week. Dustin replied then and said his phone is not working and he had my wrong e-mail. I was contacted by the company that would repair my wall and they could not be out for a month. Unacceptable. Luckily I have a great landlord who said they could fix the damages and wouldn't charge me. I let Dustin know and never received an apology or offer to have money taken off my move. Due to the lack of customer service I will NEVER use them again.
