Unfortunately there is a zero star to rate this company. I was charged $110.00 for a "membership" that was never requested as I very rarely use this stupid service (it was used once since last year). After countless hours of messaging, as they do not dignify a mortal customer with a phone call in order to be as anonymous and detached as possible to keep on offering no customer service, I was informed that nice Uber would reimburse a whole amount of $30.00. What a scam! NEVER again will I deal with this "mafia" like so called company. Horrible!
I am usually happy with uber and have been using them for a long time giving them tons of service, i needed a ride home after a late shift at work that's usually $5 and they tried charging me $22! Leaving me stuck at work for HOURS! I am pissed to say at the least with there greediness after all the service i give them!
Cannot rely on them anymore….They cancel all the time making you late for appointments, meetings etc Forget about trying to find them in the early hours of the morning. They just cancel, cancel and cancel some more even at the last minute.
I took a ride from Games Village to Wuye, Abuja, Nigeria. The cost of ride was 1,100 Naira but I mistakenly transferred 30,000 Naira to the driver. He claimed he didn't receive the payment but my bank confirmed that payment was successful. He has refused taking my calls. He doesn't respond to msg. Uber have refused to address the issue. Uber are a terrible company.
Please don't use uber eats, the uber company will never ever support you if the restaurant cancel on your items and yes even if you're a valued customer such as a platinum, I had the worst experience and uber let this restaurants took over $160 out of my account and again the restaurant call me and told me to cancel because they didn't have what I ask for but yet I'm the one who has to suffer worse customer experience ever.

I took an UBER from Pacific Heights to the SF airport and it cost $85.00! That is outrageous! I was not told of the charge, as the driver picked me up at the airport, then stopped at my hotel to get my suitcase and then to the airport. The traffic was bad, but he should have told me it would be $85.00, that is crazy!
Uber seemed to be ideal since I just moved back home to Columbus, and I'm a single full time parent. Uber's App sent me to fictitious addresses, wrong addresses, and refused to accept responsibility for the wasted time, fuel, and deficiencies of their own App.
The passengers constantly complained to me about the App's functionality, and the inability of contacting Uber Customer Support.
The cost of driving for Uber is too high. Car payment, fuel, oil changes, Uber Fee, and Passenger Fee, leaves minimum wages for the driver. While Uber claims that drivers can make great money, it's actually Uber that is making "great" money!
Charging drivers high fees on top of maintenance costs of their own vehicles is ridiculous!
Uber is a great option for ordering food and getting to your destinations. The problem is they leave it and option as to what orders they want to take and ones they choose otherwise. Why give the people the option, when your not going to fulfill the request. It doesn't make sense, if it's an option it should be mentioned before anyone places an order. Double check your orders, because mishaps seem to also be common.
Uber is kind of like magic. You punch a few buttons on the app on your phone, and you watch as a black car appears out of nowhere at your doorstep. It's so much better than calling a taxi it's ridiculous. It does come at a price though--the black car service I've found to be about 20-25% more than a taxi, and the Uber taxi service was maybe 10-15% more. But honestly, it's kind of worth it. It's so painless... if only every service was like this.
This app ia unbelievably bad, please contact lyft, I'm begging you. I was at a football game and after I contacted an Uber to take me back home. I was waiting for 30 minutes and then the driver canceled on me after I had called her and asked where she was parked. This happened 3 time's total, I eventually had to walk back to the hotel pissed off at this app

I have used Uber about 6 times. I have never had a problem. Their response times are excellent and they help with my walker. It would be nice if these reviews gave their general market location. I am 65 and use a walker!
I scheduled my ride 3 days ago for Friday night to go to an event that cost me $450. The ride never showed so I scheduled another ride. Confirmed it and another no show. I ended up driving myself and being late. Inexcusable.
On April 20th I requested a package pickup for 2 package for $23.36 the driver only picked up one. I reached out to her she blocked me. I reached out to the customer service rep on here named Tan He said I would be refunded for the trip since she didn't pick up both packages I requested for. I didn't receive the refund so I reached out to my bank and the fare was returned now I have $23.36 "unpaid" amount on my app. I have been contacting Uber for weeks to have this charge removed and everytime I get in contact with one stupid rep that doesn't understand what I'm saying I get the run around. I wish I could report Tan who was so rude and ended the chat on me as I was stating I need a refund. I literally hate Uber. It's so frustrating and annoying. I want this resolved I'm so tired of contacting them
After my credit card info was stolen and charged via Uber, fortunately the amount was refunded. But my nightmare didnt stop there. Soon I found my Uber account was inaccessible and they replied that I need to email them the scanned copies of my government ID and credit card. I told them that would expose me to bigger risk and willing to meet their local employee if necessary. They sent me this "I've reviewed your account. It appears that your account has been suspended for activity that violates our Terms and Conditions and will be unavailable for you to use until further notice. We will let you know if we will consider lifting the suspension." Do I smell some sabotage there? I violated T&C because I am trying to protect myself not sending my credit card?
Uber driver has let the meter on even after the ride was completed. I lost my money because of this. He rode a good 2hrs on the road. Wrote to the customer support multiple times but no one seems to care as soon as I explained my situation. They didn't even bother to reply.
I thought this was very practical until my card was fraudulently charged twice tonight and I discovered how ridiculously difficult it is to do anything about it! I saw the ride come up and cancelled the first one, but I got charged anyway because it was cancelled at the last minute - to the tune of £17! I emailed UBER support right away but they are not available during the late night, it seems. I have changed my password and sent another email asking to delete my account but am afraid I will get charged again despite it all. Why is it not possible to take the credit card off the site? I don't want to go through the hassle of cancelling my card when it's just an UBER problem. If the site just offered that option I wouldn't be deleting my account. But now I'm totally turned off UBER and will stop using them asap.
Uber blocked my account as soon as i put money in my paytm account saying that this account is linked with some other account. And in support mails, there is always a common system generated mail. Worst service ever seen...
I was told to downloaded the app to receive a $20 dollar coupon, which i did. I ordered a ride and before getting in the car i made sure to double check with the driver that i was not going to be charged a single thing (my destination was only 5 miles away). Everything went well until the day after i noticed that they had charged me money. The coupon i had was applied but they had also charged me with an extra surge fee that i never approved of! They do not have a customer phone number so i had to email them. They never helped me with my problem. I DO NOT recommend this company at all!

They make up promotions to get you to work harder but don't pay you for them they let people say they going to give a 10 dollar tip and when u drop it off they leave 5dollars terrible company all about getting they pockets fat
Uber was absolutely horrible, I stepped outside of the vehicle for a moment and the car took off with my backpack. My backpack contained my keys, wallet, and everything else i had. This is the worst taxi service that i have ever received, I would not advise using this service.
My granddaughter and I ordered an uber from santa monica beach pier. Three drivers cancelled and I was charged for the third one with them stating that the driver waited over 2 minutes for me. I was at the pickup point long before I ever contacted this driver. He evidently left and charged me with a cancellation fee and I followed the rules. Uber has shown to a very shadowy company from the get go. From now on, I will be a customer of Lyft! I have disputed this with the BBB, no response from uber so now I am making you aware.
In Salt Lake City my destination was changed after I entered uber car. I confirmed with uber driver my requested destination at my pickup location. Then again when he passed the street I going to. He took me to the location on app that I had not requested. I jumped out of the car fearing for my life. Do not drive off with any car service without seeing your requested destination on their app.
First of all, They are ripping the customers off, I had a promo code for $20 free ride and they charged me the full amount.
Second, they don't have any insurance for riders during the trips.
Third, they have the worst customer service.
I highly don't recommend uber for anyone.
Out of 10 times, there were 8 times I had problems with my orders, either more than 1.5hrs wait or not being able to add payments, or placing my order at all due to their system errors. I would not use Uber if there were no other choices.
