Unfortunately there is a zero star to rate this company. I was charged $110.00 for a "membership" that was never requested as I very rarely use this stupid service (it was used once since last year). After countless hours of messaging, as they do not dignify a mortal customer with a phone call in order to be as anonymous and detached as possible to keep on offering no customer service, I was informed that nice Uber would reimburse a whole amount of $30.00. What a scam! NEVER again will I deal with this "mafia" like so called company. Horrible!

I was ripped off many times, overcharged by uber and when want to ask or complain, they of course have a bridge to nowhere type of system where it is impossible to actually state your complain, it is categorized where you can not find the right button. It also seems there is no real response

I began to sign up with Uber thinking it would be a good way to get some money. For some reason they could not read my registration. The many texts regarding this has been annoying. To the point that I asked that they stop texting, emailing, calling. This was the wrong thing to do since I have had so many texts all night from them. I just wish they would leave me alone.

We took an uber home thinking it would be better than driving. It was a 25.09 ride which is absolutely fine, but a surcharge of over 50 dollars is absolute ridiculous. Our trip was 12 miles and we paid over 77 dollars. I have tried to call, email, anything to talk to a person and nothing has happened. Uber is absolutely ridiculous with the way they charge people. So disappointed in the company.

These uber drivers have no experience and who knows if the driver is on drugs or selling drugs in his car. Government is actually making it easier for public to easily access drugs.

Taxi drivers are more reliable because they go through proper training! Taxi drivers have commercial insurance and their cars are inspected by county officers whereas uber doesn't even have enough customer service representatives.

What would government do if one of these uber drivers rape or kill somebody or kidnap one of their clients for ransom and who knows if it's the same driver and these drivers don't even have to go through any kind of training.

This uber put lot of taxi drivers out of work! I don't think it's fair because this uber service is just extra money for some greedy people. Taxi drivers were working hard to raise their families so i think government should think about those families and ban uber and lyft forever so people can feel more safe!

Tip for consumers:
let's all come together and protest against this and get it banned!!!

Needed a simple lift to the bakery, and this guys got lost lol even with GPS installed not sure what he was on, but basically took a 5 minute ride into a 15 minute ride. Not a big fan of Uber, don't use it much at this point.

Was called the N word and homosexual slurs by driver who appeared to be on drugs and Uber gave me a 5 dollar credit and said they would "talk to" the driver, I am assuming because they felt the same way and support this behavior. Worst company ever!

I've been doing uber for 3+ years now I have to giving up doing it cause living cost went up so high and gas prices up so high and now Uber decreased all the ride fair and they are changing the drivers all kind of the fees to take your money when you call customer service for explanation the hung up on people this is really not fair to using your own vehicle to make rich people getting more richer that ain't right

I recently took an Uber ride and something seemed very "off" about the the driver so I wrote down his name and searched online for him and found his FB page on which he posted numerous videos discussing how he and his girlfriend are homeless and living in their beat up 10+ yr old car, which is the one he uses to Uber, which is sad and indicates that driving for Uber is not a great career, but he also discussed that he takes numerous anti psychotic medications.as well as that there is a protective order against him.! I do not think this person should be driving the public around and Uber should do a much better job of choosing who they hire to do so. I would not feel safe using their service again.

Checking my Credit card I report, I found that UBER charged me 24.99 USD without my permission. I bought a one-time-Ride-Pass when visiting in New-York in June 2019. I did so after getting a promotion message from the company. The fact that Ride-Pass is recurring was not mentioned. At least, I was not asked to approve a recurring monthly charge.
Asking the company for a refund is mission impossible. There is no email address and no way you can contact them.
Also, once you were entering a payment method, there is no way to cancel it, unless you enter a new credit card. The only way will be to delete your account.

I no longer trust Uber. I have over $100.00 worth of pending charges for trips today. I didn't request or use Uber today. I am employed, a student, over 40 with a disability! I am afraid to drive. Plus, I need a car with safety features that our family car does not! Happy Holidays!

I am furious. I had $300 of bogus Uber charges taken from my account. I was asleep in bed in Ohio during the time I supposedly took a 90 minute ride from NJ to NY. There is no way to get anyone on the phone. I was told the phone is only available to help drivers, not riders. I was told a ticket would be submitted and someone would "email" me. That was this morning. I have received no email. I cannot access my app because I keep getting a message that. Need to get a verification code from my security app. I have no idea what they are talking about.

Yet another way to gather personal information when all I want to do is post a review.

My wife used Uber once and now they charge us $15 a month. They have no support phone number there's no way to cancel the fee on my credit card less I get a new card pretty good scam/profit enhancement. Watch Out. I emailed them there was no answer or support.

Uber is an absolute rip off. Their price guides never meet their much higher fares charged. You never know what they charged you until you check your credit card. Most times more than a taxi. Rip off on nye was mind boggling. I won't be using them anymore. Best to see an honest fare on a meter.

It's a bad company and the pay sucks. Uber clams that your in independent contractor but in reality your a total employee to them. Example Uber controls your account, the support line sucks, they are a waste of my time. I highly recommend everyone don't ever work for these thieves. My account is on hold for over a week and half for yearly background check up. I did nothing wrong these $#*!heads are pissing me off. They don't pay anything to the unemployment which means no support for you when they hold you account. Uber is a Nasty DEVIL!

Literally dont even want to give them 1 star but i have too so I get an email from Uber stating that I was overcharged, and they added the overcharge to my account. If I wanted the refund added back to my card to contact the help section in the app and talk to customer support, well i talked to Clarice and she tells me that there is no way for me to get a refund? Why would I receive an email telling me in detail just to contact them within 90 days and they will add it to the card on file. She was very rude and i will not being using Uber for anything again!

Tip for consumers:
DONT USE IT.. the customer service is ABSOLUTELY no help. they are rude as hell and they will take your money but when its time to give it back they will only let you use it thru them

My car had broken down and i was having to be to work at 4:30 AM and the buses werent running so i was paying with my debit card but then they sent be money via uber cash and then when i asked for it to be put back on my card they accused me of buying uber cash and that there was no reason i should have gotten a refund because my last transaction was 3/23/2023. there support emailed me about some technical issues that caused an overcharge on my trips

If you only need Uber for a ride your fine. However, I use them for my grocery trips. Drivers have left me to carry 15 grocery bags to my door my myself. If you don't mind being dropped on the curb (disabled) trying to figure out how the hell your going to get all your stuff in your house without hurting yourself I guess there fine. This has happened 15 out of 20 rides.

Driver early and pulled straight off without waiting
Todays ride was booked for 4.08 pm I got a text at 4.pm he had arrived early so I immediately ran out and could see him from my window all the time, he pulled up and drove off immediately without waiting, I stood in the road behind his car jumping up and down so he saw me and decided to come back after 10 minutes. He came out with a mouthful of lies why he drove off. I was in an emergency and got in the car and he later charged me for waiting time. I have tried to resolve this with Uber but I was getting nowhere so I will keep leaving reviews about this third world selfish operation and I have deleted my account with them. Never pay for anything up front and give your bank details to these type.

Dropped my phone in uber and had to wait almost 3 hours to get it back on top of paying 15 dollars to get my stuff back. And I got called stupid by a random customer named Joseph because the driver had the call on speaker. The driver laughed and completely disregarded the nasty comment and the fact that I could hear it. Getting my own car bc *** uber.
User's recommendation: Make sure you have everything before you leave.

Uber knowingly sends drivers to pick up some very dangerous people. There is an alternative. Pictured, is that alternative. Developed by a driver who was tired of driving armed drug mules and transients, Honkers! Was born. It is very different.

Normally you pay the driver through your credit card. In Istanbul Uber work with other taxi companies and it's very confusing. At the end of my ride to the airport, the driver asked for cash with toll fees. I thought maybe that's the way how Uber works with taxi companies. I paid 400 lira for the ride. And, the driver ask to look at my app. I didn't know there would be a payment code displaying on my screen when I open the app. The drive saw the code and enter it into his app, and then I paid him 400 Lira again!
Uber agreed to look into the case but never got back to me. That itself seems like a scam as well. If they don't have enough customer support, they shouldn't even run the business.

Tip for consumers:
Don’t use it in another country where you are not sure how Uber operates.

I used uber when traveling to NY to see my brother James. He lives next to Jamaica station and usually I take a cab from jfk to his place that adds up to as much as $70 for a ride. This time I decided to try uber and was very pleased with the price offered just $23.
The driver arrived quickly and the car was neat. Overall great experience!

In the past two weeks, I used Uber twice for one way riding same distance. The price for first time $12.00 and the second time was charged for $54.00. Next time, I rather take taxi with meter and know what you will pay for. Uber should have price quoting before pick up.
Reg.is needed to review their fare practice.

Take too much for fees and they let drunks rate you. Had a dumb $#*! give me bad ratings now I could lose my job. Really Uber give me break. Just throw me in front of a firing squad. Give drunks the opportunity to rate some one.
