Unfortunately there is a zero star to rate this company. I was charged $110.00 for a "membership" that was never requested as I very rarely use this stupid service (it was used once since last year). After countless hours of messaging, as they do not dignify a mortal customer with a phone call in order to be as anonymous and detached as possible to keep on offering no customer service, I was informed that nice Uber would reimburse a whole amount of $30.00. What a scam! NEVER again will I deal with this "mafia" like so called company. Horrible!

EMBARRASSED... It's bad enough that there are a lack of drivers in our area, but when we request, wait on and use the service, at least give me what I paid for. My wife and I requested a ride last night to a Gala in downtown Savannah. Came outside, dressed up in FORMAL attire, just to get into a ragedy@$$ minivan that made noise the ENTIRE ride. The door didn't close all the way, the engine sputtered during takeoff and the brakes had the whole thing shaking everytime we slowed down. Worst ride ever. We just had him drop us off a block away. That was ridiculous. Ste state of Georgia needs to have better regulations for the service. I would have rather fought for parking and walked in the rain, but we didn't want to be late. The next messed up ride and vehicle that comes for me, I'm going to request a refund. If anyone wants proof of my ride, I took a video. Something needs to be done about these horrible vehicles. Upset, James Moore.

So I ordered Uber yesterday they charged me twice then the man put me out at a location I didn't request then my phone died so I had to let man give me ride that I'd never met. This could have ended badly but thank God it didn't. I will never use there services again. I had major panic attacks due to this...

After buying a new Corolla and doing all the necessary documentation to join Uber, worked for 2 months than the mileage rate dropped and couple weeks ago opened the App to start taking rides I was not allowed to use it till I had agreed to a 25% cut instead of a prior 20% just because I have joined after October 29th 2015. So now I get 0.75$ per mile and 0.10$ per minute. That's BS 6$/hr for driving is under minimum wage considering that the minimum wage in MD is 8.25$/hr

Worst company to work for lets say you get a minimum fare in N. J. which is $5.60 Uber automatically takes a $1.60 for safe trip why they take this when your the driver providing the safe trip now where down to $4 then they take there 25% now we have a whopping $3 deduct your gas, car payments & insurance you might be left with $2 so your putting your car on the road and the only people making money is Uber, at your expense stay away go work in Burger King or Mc Donalds you will be financially better of.

Uber is a horrible partner. Dropped its price again for the third time in less than two years and now I'm driving for chump change they want 5 star service for 1 star pay and the math just not working out. Furthermore they have partnered with local dealerships whereas they are taking advantage of people's economic situations leasing cars for outrageous amounts before nobody with bad credit could get approved now that Uber is on the scene miraculously any Uber driver can get approved which begs me to wonder just how sleezy the banks and dealerships are. Uber is a viper taking advantage of a certain demographic low income not educated driver trying to feed there families people say " Nobody is forcing you." and to that I say " And nobody is forcing me to feed my kids either."
Don't drive for Uber they are $#*!s period!

I've used uber in the past for a ride to the airport. Paid $12 to $13. This time they charged me $43.00 to go 4 miles! I cannot get any help from their non exsisting customer service dept.I will walk before I ever use this company again!

I keep going back to ordering Uber rides but I finally decided to give up after multiple disappointments caused by their drivers.
1. I oder a ride, the driver does not show after several minutes of waiting and he still charges me a " cancellation fee".
2. A driver cancels my ordered ride with no reason and Uber charges me a cancellation fee.
3. Another time, I ordered a ride that said it is 3 minutes away and upon confirming the ride the app shows that the driver is more than 15 minutes away, I then immediately cancelled the ride within less than 30 seconds and I was still charged a $5.75 cancellation fee. I didn't dispute it but I believe is pure dishonesty when misleading information is used ti take advantage of the client.

I received this confirmation of my reservation.
In the app I was told I would be picked up by Azeb.
I waited 10 minutes and no one showed so I called another Uber who told me that he couldn't see my reservation on the system.
This made me late for a very important dentist appointment.
This is very poor service. Moreover there is no way to complain to Uber directly. Just an endless loop of FAQ's on their "support site" that only deal with a limited range of problems.
I am going back to taxi service. They were never so thoughtless.

An uber picked my friend and i up from the bar the first thing he says to us is wow what a $#*! hole ur at right now. We laugh it off and then he goes i can't believe i just drove 39 minutes for a 3 minute uber ride which then we apologize for and say we'll leave a good tip. He then gets into the conversation of queer people and says that a sex change should be referred to as a "give me a $#*! please surgery". We were weirded out but stayed silent and then he said thank god pride month is over. My friend and i got out of the car screamed happy pride left a 0$ tip and wrote a horrible review.

Today I booked with Uber and when the app showed our car was due in 5 minutes, we went downstairs to wait. 30 minutes later we were still waiting. During that time, the estimate of arrival bounced back and forth between 3 minutes and 11 minutes. We gave up when it became clear that we would not be picked up in time to reach our destination before it closed.

If you wanna be hours late to work and home depend on Uber. They will pull they prices allll the way up like I'm going outta town or something but don't depend on this app alone with Lyft thwy moth just taking your money and not making sure your safe and satisfied. Can't wait to stop taking Uber it was a complete waste of time late everyday because of them & can't call them to complain cause there full of crap. Thanks Uber for having me late to everything and everyday.

You would think after the billions Uber is making they'd be able to find a decent I T. They claim to be updating the cash out function for 6 months now. If they still have not figured that out they are either doing so shady shir or withholding peoples earnings due to discrimination. I really can't tell at this point. If you guys need a new web developer I know a good one. Yell are slack fir awhile now.

Driver tonight was so erratic on road. (Plate no. NY T*******C) that I thought he was drunk. Speeding up to 80, then slowing to 50 mph, swerving in and out of lanes, on an abandoned highway, it was a haunted roller-coaster ride, as the glow of his cell phone on his face the whole time made him look like a ghoul.

I arrived at my pickup location and ordered my Uber from there. It took about 5 mins for the car to arrive. I saw the car arrive and park about 10 meters from me (it was a parking lot). It took me less than 15 seconds to reach it. The driver could have parked closer but it was fine for me as the car was only about 10 paces away. However, I was charged for waiting time!

In my town waiting time can only be charged after the driver has waited one minute. In this case I was already there and the driver did not have to wait at all.

Uber so called customer service chose not to believe me, saying that I had made a claim for false waiting time in the past. True. It has happened before. That doesn't mean to say it didn't happen again! I think some drivers just try to earn a few more cents by scamming customers in this way. Please watch out for this.
Uber has just lost a customer. There are better alternatives to Uber these days.

Wish there was a "minus star" for ratings. As I said before, I'm trying to cancel UBER, but I gotten 5 emails that keep asking "please tell us why" crap that leads you to their web site asking you to sign in with your password. How the@*$k could I sign in if my account was canceled, why would I want to sign in (are u freaking kidding me?)? Uber has four letters, does anyone have a four letter word that can replace UBER?
Why can't they just read my original email thats explains my reasons?

Tip for consumers:
Do not become a member by providing name, address, phone number and credit card info up front unless you are absolutely sure the service exists in your area and if they are reliable. You don't want that company to have your data if you can't use them. Still waiting for them to confirm cancelation and wiped my data.

We should be able to choose the gender of our drivers. Why isnt there an option to do this? I recently had a ride with a shady male. Unfriendly and did not speak a word of English. Felt abit unsafe. The first ride app who allows this will make me their new client.

Great service. E driver was friendly and picked me up within 5 minutes of sending the request. App is easy to load. I was hesitant at first but was impressed with the service so far. Use code hsu2r and we both get a free ride.

I was trying to set up Uber I started to and put my credit card information into the Ubers app but when she arrived we paid cash instead so I don't know how this trip got charged to my credit card. She did not speak English, so it was very hard to communicate.

After a night out got a taxi through uber at normal rate twice and both times said on route but then cancelled the pick up for no reason? Then the price surge occurred and we were picked up and dropped off meaning a £25-30 dare then became over £60 customer support not existant uber is dreadful company to deal with

What a joke. I had been using uber for months and loved it... until one day when I was requesting a ride home from the store I ubered to and I got error message saying my card was invalid. After 2 weeks of emails with employees that don't seem to be able to read English, and being told the problem was fixed numerous times, it was never resolved. They don't deserve anyone's business. A family member drove for them for several weeks and quit because he never got paid. They're not even good to their employees.

We booked a taxi from Leeds to Sowerby Bridge on Saturday. Before we got In the taxi we asked how much it would cost and the driver said he didn't know and you should have an email! We did not receive any message to tell us the cost, if we had we would not of got in the taxi, it cost us 90 for what should of been a 32 trip! There were lots of empty uber taxis driving round waiting to pick people up, so the demand was not high, now I can understand d why there was, the inflated price of 2.8 is crazy and no need! I'm shocked disappointed and will not be using uber again, I do not agree with not been told the price before we got in, how can you charge someone without knowing the cost in first place! We had no choice but in to the car as it was late and cold, and we had already ordered it!

Uber is one of the worst cab provider... every time I face some problem... last time was driver did not come even after several phone calls and finally I had to pay phenality for that... I simply deleted the app

We recently went on a family vacation to celebrate my mother's 70th birthday. We traveled by rail, stopped in 5 different cities, and chose to use uber in these states. Chicago uber was the worst service I have ever received from any car service. At first, I thought the drivers were, among other things, rude, but it did not help that I was there the same weekend as Lollapalooza, which empowered the stink attitudes. Once when I said you parked too far, and I have luggage; can you back up, he proceeded to remove the baggage I had already placed in the back of his car and drive off while my back was turned, leaving my stuff on the road as I went to get other luggage. When I expressed how I was treated to other drivers, they explained the concert was in town and brought with it none native drivers into Chicago, and they do not know the place or care how they treat people. Uber, you have a long way to go to call yourself a company that cares about the customer service experience.

Uber is the biggest piece of $#*! company. They have promised to send my "lost" now "stolen" phone since 8/26/16. I have been stood up by the Uber driver that had it and Uber as a company has promised multiple dates to have my phone all unsuccessful. They refuse to respond to any of my responses. They are a horrible $#*!ing company that hires only people with zero morals and zero care for true customer concern. I will be calling action news with consumer affairs

The company sent me a message saying that a passenger accused me of being under the influence. Of course anyone who knows me knows this isn't true. I don't drink alcohol or use any drugs! The company put a block on my account and I couldn't access my money that I had made for the day. This is wrong! It's one thing to accuse someone of something but too block access to their money is totally unethical! I'm telling UBER and the entire world that UBER is a piece of garbage! It's no wonder they are so hated by their driver's. It's best not to let your money accumulate but instead to cash out when it gets up to $100.
