Uber driver deleted my ride information from my phone and created a new ride. My confirmed ride was $19.71. Driver purposely stalled at pick-up location for 5 minutes feigning operational issues with his car app and then asked to see my phone which displayed my ride information. Driver deleted it and created another ride request while in the app. This was my 2nd time ever using Uber as I had always taken, well over 150 times in the past, a NYC yellow taxi at a cost of: $20-$30 including tip for the 10 minute-8 mile trip. Uber executives refuse to investigate claiming it's a result of their 'dynamic pricing policy' Dynamic pricing at 2 o'clock in the morning with hardly any vehicles on the roadway? It appears that Uber is criminally conspiring with the driver to defraud consumers.
They make up promotions to get you to work harder but don't pay you for them they let people say they going to give a 10 dollar tip and when u drop it off they leave 5dollars terrible company all about getting they pockets fat
My ride was standard good per Uber rules etc, however the driver Muhammad! This guy reports he found my phone i dropped in the back seat, then says to corporate its not mine as I fully characterize my busted screen, color, make, and model. Not to mention this is my company phone so I really need that. This guy wont call back or return it, worst of all this guy only lives two streets over, following my phone on GPS all day n night for 3 nights! I use to live and swear up and down by Uber but it only takes "One Bad Apple" to spoil the bunch. Whats up Lyft?! Looking might y fine right now!
Unable to request a ride. Given a generic error message with no helpful information. "Contact help." Tried that, they were unknowledgeable and unable to help, then disconnected the chat. Used Lyft insead, got a ride right away, the first time.

I took a ride from Games Village to Wuye, Abuja, Nigeria. The cost of ride was 1,100 Naira but I mistakenly transferred 30,000 Naira to the driver. He claimed he didn't receive the payment but my bank confirmed that payment was successful. He has refused taking my calls. He doesn't respond to msg. Uber have refused to address the issue. Uber are a terrible company.
I canceled an order where I used a coupon. I canceled that order to put more on that order. And I did not get my coupon back. So I asked for help. Uber uses useless pre programmed bots who doesn't understand you and give the same wrong useless answer. After a few tried, I got nothing. Lost the coupon, got a bit frustrated because the very bad none responsive costumer service.
I do not approve this company and would advice to use alternatives if possible. It is above average on price and no costumer service.
Uber - you don't have a place on your website or app for reviews for YOU as a company. You want to throw drivers under the bus - but you can't event take the time to have a customer complaint form. Even if everyone knows this is a black hole - you don't even bother to TRY. Your company is so bad it has made me appreciate taxi drivers. First your app maps are terrible and send the drivers to the wrong place - then because it is easier for the driver to stay put - I walk to the driver and get charged a wait fee. This is neither my fault or the driver - yet your APP is at fault and no one at UBER cares. It is not fair to fault the driver because they were going to where you idiots sent them - making it then appear as if I the rider was the idiot and then the driver charge ME. I am the one walking blocks to get to the driver and then charged for it. You are terrible. Then your wait time for when I put a request into the app and when the driver actually shows up are atrocious. This is not even close to accurate a wait time. You will say it is 5 minutes but in reality it is closer to 10 minutes. You have to know this because you smarty pants in California know everything. You can see then the request was initiated and when the driver actually starts the fare. And don't say this is because of traffic because you are smarter than that. All I have to say is take my 5 star rating and suck it. You suck so bad I am thankful we still have a taxi service because I enjoy being their customer more than I have ever enjoyed UBER.
I recently was taking Uber home from downtown. I waited for the driver to arrive, looking around for him. Then he called me & told me he was here & where he was at. I didn't see that area anywhere around & it was not the address I put in for pickup. He then told me to cancel so I won't be charged & then put in for another ride. I did that, but was charged close to a $6 cancellation fee for doing so. Also, the cost of the ride I cancelled is pending & I'm waiting for it to drop off. I should not have a cancellation fee for a ride I cancelled that did not show up where I asked to be picked up at. And I also should not have that pending ride charge at all.
This has happen twice now.
I put in a for a ride and the original driver is nearby then cancels or makes a u turn.
The last time I had a driver within 8 mins away and he cancels. I waited 40 mins for the 3rd driver. Uber is not that dependable.

LUCKILY, I had a few things in my favor.
1. I had the "Find My Phone" feature enabled on my phone.
2. My driver mentioned he lived near me.
3. My driver also mentioned that I was his last ride for the night. (10:30 PM)
4. My Smart Watch could connect to my phone from a distance.
I found where my phone was (where he parked his car), and drove close enough to my phone for it to connect to my watch. I was then able to retrieve the 4 digit text message that was SENT TO THE MISSING PHONE, enter it into the computer, and was finally prompted to enter my password.
For Uber to send a 4 digit pin to a MISSING PHONE... it makes absolutely no since. How does Uber expect a person to be able to log in to their website using a 4 digit pin THAT IS SENT TO A MISSING PHONE? I know it was my fault for not double checking the car to ensure that I had all of my belongings, but Uber provided absolutely NO HELP in logging into my account. There is no phone number or human being customer service rep to actually talk to. It was extremely frustrating to deal with and I will not be using Uber anymore.
I ordered an Uber from jersey city to midtown Manhattan. Not the first time ordering an Uber. Original payment said $52.5 and because the driver took a poor route it went upto $70. Upon complaining how bad the overall service was, driver refusing to take the shortest route, not picking up from the original pickup location, taking 60 mins longer to reach the destination than usual and more…. UBER writes we are sorry… really! Is that why we complaint to hear them apologize…. And they keep writing the same thing over and over again. Horrible services… no concern about the customers. Unbelievable the time I've had to use to get my refund in which Uber offered me before I said anything. Customer service not having a phone #, this is just a money grab. The employees I spoke to all lied, passed it on, leaving me hanging hope I'd forget. Infact I'm sure they stole my refund balance since how convient it says 0 balance now. I was standing outside my hotel from 1:34 to 1:57 and this idiot didn't say anything that he was here, no text no call. Turned out he was hiding in the parking lot underneath the hotel but didn't say anything and I didn't bring my eyeglasses. He canceled, drove away and that's how I saw him. I asked why didn't you say you were here the whole time. He said he already canceled like WTF! I was on my feet for half and hour looking for his plate number in every car that passed by me. I decided to drive for Uber to make a few extra bucks primarily during Packer games since I live a couple blocks from the stadium. I submitted my documents and it took two weeks to be approved. And then drove for approximately six weeks. With Uber taking 25% off the top you don't get paid much unless you have surges. One day my account was blocked. I proceeded to call customer service and that is when the games began. Over the next two months and over eight phone calls, trying to appeal, this mistake they said that I submitted fraudulent or suspected fraudulent documents. How could I have passed the background if I submitted fraudulent documents. And if I did submit fraudulent documents, Uber didn't catch it right away and put many people at risk. Needless to say I did not submit fraudulent documents, appealed their mistake I was ultimately blocked for good. You cannot talk to anybody who makes decisions. Just airheads who apologize and speak very broken English. I wish this company would go bankrupt! It's an absolute joke. No offices that you can go to with your documentation to prove your $#*! ain't fraudulent. There must be a way to hold this company accountable for their mistakes.
So I live and die by reviews by my job these are very important to me. I contact them I got a price to get to the airport I booked my flight which is $400 according to them it was $60 to give me the airport once I decided to set that drive, they told me unavailable Uber sucks

It's pretty sad that the customer service department for Uber allows the customers to represent their company their company does not backup the drivers and anytime that a customer reports to Uber that the driver got into an accident the driver smoking or under the substance or that something doesn't work in their vehicle Uber allows the customer to make that option and then the driver is done. Piss poor is your all me. If it wasn't for the drivers driving the customers were they need to go. Uber would not exist. And I'm only leaving a one star because I cannot leave a 0 star.
