Four of us decided to take a cruise with Viking. Two booked first and a few days later we booked. Before booking we asked if our cruises could be linked. She said of course because the airfare hadn't even been scheduled. Our cruise gave free airfare. We live 1 1/2 hours apart and need to travel to the airport together. Our cruises mirror each other we are staying at the same hotels before and after the cruise and doing the same tours. We were comparing trips and noticed we had different flights. I called twice and was told by Viking that indeed our trips were linked but sometimes that happened with airfares. I was told the only way to fix it was to pay an extra $1018. It was too late to cancel because Viking had already done an ACH Withdrawal for the entire price of the cruise. This is a horrible scam. I hate to think how many other people have been scammed in the same way. We wish we had know. We will never do another Viking Cruise and we are letting all our friends know about this. If anyone knows where I can file a complaint, please let me know.
