Unfortunately there is a zero star to rate this company. I was charged $110.00 for a "membership" that was never requested as I very rarely use this stupid service (it was used once since last year). After countless hours of messaging, as they do not dignify a mortal customer with a phone call in order to be as anonymous and detached as possible to keep on offering no customer service, I was informed that nice Uber would reimburse a whole amount of $30.00. What a scam! NEVER again will I deal with this "mafia" like so called company. Horrible!

I've been missing ever since last May 2019. The rate started out at about 7:10 to drive less than 2 miles. Turned it on today to Uber home It's been a year and now it's over $10.52. That's over $5 A mile and a $1.50 A min and to top that off I have to wait 26 mins for my ride. I can't cancel or I'll be charged the fee anyway which is bull$#*!! There should be a way that I should know how long it's going to take for the person to get here that way if they're going to take a half an hour. I can decide whether or not I still need a ride not wait and find out after I have purchased the ride and then be told you got to wait a half an hour. And I don't want to wait the half-hour, but I can't cancel. Are you going to charge me for the ride? Anyway, your rates are ridiculous. It's less than 2 mi and I'm spending over $10. And the drivers don't even get the $10. So why are you charging extra fees when you're not giving there's extra fees to the drivers.

On 8/17/20 I drove with Uber, which was quoted as an approx $14.90 trip, but I now, after reconciling my CC statement for August, find that I was charged surge x 4.8 for a total of $56.62. Total fare of ride $74.62.? This was not quoted to me and is a ridiculous cost for a regular distance fare of $7.88. I have been a long time Uber driver, but this is completely unacceptable. Needless to say will refute charge with CC Visa and my phone will be down one Ap. Love FLYT!

I reserved a ride for the following day. Paid 35.55 for the ride. And i go check to make sure everything is ok but nope, it says i have no upcoming rides. Like the $#*!! I just paid yall. Theres literally no help to figure out whats going on. I recommend a no if you need a ride. Try lyft. Uber just took my money and the customer care is a joke.

We took 3 Uber rides this evening. We waited a while for our 1st 2 rides but understand no one has enough workers these days. We waited 2 hours for our last ride of the night and finally called a taxi. It was a lot of money but at least we got back. We would have happily paid Uber more if it would have meant getting a ride from them

Tried using Uber and my driver never left his seat to help with our suitcases. He also charged much more than the taxi drivers and insisted on $5 tip which he didn't deserve. Every taxi driver we used helped us with our suit cases and this man never lifted a finger! The taxi drivers were less expense and much more friendly. He did get us to our destination.

Tonight at 1 am while coming back from phoenix market city i put my phone on charging and forgot to take it... i called the cab driver after 15 mins asking for the phone and he started giving random excuses... i called the police as well and plan to file an fir tomorrow morning... his name is manjunath and his number is *******422

On app Uber lures u to money making areas but once u get there, your riding around wasting gas hoping you get a rider. Wear and tear on your vehicle... good luck with that. Uber dont care. They stress u to drive but wont help u with money to fix car.
Lyft Looks Out. If u wanna drive, Lyft pays better than Uber and less bull$#*!.

I have been using uber for over 7 years in last 6 months uber became trash company, awful and disrespectful drivers, with awful set and high expectations of tips. Ordered uber, arrived to the wrong location, accused me of being rude and told me to get out, because he arrived the wrong location. Peace of trash nothing else I can say about this company

Awful service, the driver behaved like peace of trash. I have been using their services fo over 8 years and never had such an of Awful behavior. Uber app deleted.

We arrived in New York via Penn Station and the first yellow cab drive was a jerk... the next ride on offer was a Uber car. Whilst the driver was friendly, he charged us $25 US to go a short distance... having caught a cab to the other side of New York and only charged $15 US it was obvious we were ripped off... not a good way to introduce visitors to New York. We won't be using Uber ever again.

I used Uber 6 times and twice They cancelled my order and charged me a $5 cancellation fee both times but it was Uber who cancelled, not me. There is no customer service so they just pocket the money. $10 is all they will ever steal from me.

I again made the mistake of ordering through them again. I always regret it. There is never a time that it is running behind or missing an item. Today. I order a breakfast sandwich and a redbull. 2 hours. Driver doesn't respond or anything. There prices are insane. I understand why they need it because business prices are insane. But it's just not worth it. It takes 10 minutes to pick it up. I am done with there service.

Tip for consumers:
Just go pick it up.

Products used:
Food. It took 2 hours and it kept adding hours every time I looked. They said they will let me know if I get a refund. I better. I have to work. I can’t wait around for another hour.

Passed by my stop three times. Time frame went from 10 min, 13, to 15. Flagged her down, yet she used across the street to turn around I had to tap the back of the car for her not to hit me. Finally stopped in a puddle of water then suggest I have a talk with God about the rain. When I informed her that she was passing my stop she kept going so I waited for her to stop then I told her I am getting out here and opened the door to begin getting out and she peeled off with half my body out the car to were it yanked and spinned me around a little.
So I'm walking around to my building to clock in soaked and wet she drives around, get out the car, shouted then peeled off again.
I am seeking legal advice.

Uber sent a message to someone who helps me with the cost of the service buying gift cards for me and he received a message saying he has reached the limit on gift card purchases. Mind blown because what! You don't want money? I need the help and you tied my hands. Unacceptable. As soon as I can stop using it I will and will urge others to move away from the platform as it gets too big for it's britches. Now they dictate how we can even use our funds. You want money for rides but rejected money for rides. Make it make sense. That's why all the drivers are upset now and trying to side deal because Uber is now a giant and stopped caring because profits are good. It's unfortunate for the drivers. They are asking about fares because they know Uber is getting the lion share and they get stuck with peanuts. And on July 4th they charged DOUBLE THE FARES! Price gouging but gas prices are the same and so was the distance but not twice the price. Yay for me

I waited for almost 1 hour, every time I looked the app kept giving different time updates so I waited since it was rush hour after all in Atlanta. After 1 hour I contacted the driver and he claimed to not have any record of my request and that he had already picked someone else. He kept putting me on hold and told me to take up with Uber. I will NOT use this company again, the app has been removed from my phone!

After being forced to update the app and it taking upwards of 20min it finally launched. Once my location and destination were populated, Uber took another 15 min to search for a driver in a heavily populated spot only to report there were no drivers available and suggested I simply try again later. Thanks for wasting my time Uber! Boo!

Just took Uber in Milan and it was double the cost of a cab! Had a coupon in my cart when I signed up but it had just expired! Won't make that mistake again and won't recommend it either. In fact, think I will lobby against it in my home city of Austin, TX where they are in a fight with the city council over being able to operate.

Why is it if they take money out of your account for the Uber rides that they have to take additional money which they say it's an authorization hold but they do not put it back for at least eight days and this is money that I cannot access and another thing if you have an Uber gift card they still want to put monies from the ride from your checking account on hold when it is confirmed that they will get paid by the Uber gift card. I have for three weeks been trying to resolve this problem on two separate situations and the customer service is horrible. Isn't it illegal for them to keep a hold on your money even after they get paid for the services of an Uber driver taking you to your destination. And why does it take so long for it to drop off from your checking account they should confirm you have the money then debit your account for the Uber ride and then that's it. I am trying to find out how to issue an official complaint against Uber because of the situation can you please help

The uber autos and bikes and cars will not come on time.
Everytime it gives the autos and cars and bikes are busy at this moment.
It's a waste app. Everytime the money hikes to its peak. And the drivers only cancel the ride if they don't want to go on those places. Have to remove the option from drivers side.

I have been charged multiple times now for rides I have not taken. And every time I try to resolve the issue I'm never able to get a hold of anybody and nobody contacts me back. It is more of a scam then a service

Price usually higher after the journey. I used to use them for hospital appointments which went from £7 to £28 over night. I had to put up with smoke in the taxi and the driver lost 3 times. Never use them again

Don't use UBER! They are spamming me and stealing personal information they do not have permission to and worse... wont do anything about it. I can't imagine what info they are taking from those who have their app or actually signed up with them!

As a driver, the most frustrating element is that the app does not work well. More often than not, it does not recognize that I have arrived at the pick-up point and can begin the trip. So, rather than make the rider wait I will begin the trip. But this means that the navigation system won't initiate to give directions. And, just as frequently, the app doesn't recognize that you have arrived at the destination so you can end the trip. Uber's answer is to employ a small army of workers to make adjustments to the ride beginning/ending and the associated fare after the fact. When I first started with Uber (only two months ago), the app worked well (80% of the time). Now, the above noted glitches occur 90% of the time. Uber likes to send annoying reminder messages to the drivers. Time and energy would be better spent fixing the navigation app. Uber is losing drivers due to the hassles.

For the second time i was charged for a ride I didn't take by uber. They won't refund. The driver cancelled the trip. I waited a long time and then had to get a cab.
The first time it happened someone stole my ride and the driver didn't verify their name.

My daughter, a college student went out and had expected her ride to be $37.00 home as it had been in the past. As a result of you "price surge policy" she was charged $160.00! It was 1 am, pouring rain so she had no other options at that point or she would not have used Uber. The thing is, she and her friend never expected it to cost so much, and like so many other peopIe are stuck, desperate and are open to being gouged and taken advantage of. I have used uber as well for over a year and a half. My boyfriend also registered to become a driver but decided not to follow through. I am sad to say I disagree with your surge policy. I can understand a "surcharge"--even doubling the fare but this was unreasonable.
Needless to say, I will no longer continue to use your service and will in the future advise all of my clients (I own a hair salon and spa) not to use uber. I have spoke highly of your service in the past but can't continue to give a good or even fair review.
