Unfortunately there is a zero star to rate this company. I was charged $110.00 for a "membership" that was never requested as I very rarely use this stupid service (it was used once since last year). After countless hours of messaging, as they do not dignify a mortal customer with a phone call in order to be as anonymous and detached as possible to keep on offering no customer service, I was informed that nice Uber would reimburse a whole amount of $30.00. What a scam! NEVER again will I deal with this "mafia" like so called company. Horrible!
After requesting an Uber several days in advance for a ride to the airport, we were left scrambling to find a ride at the last minute since Uber was showing no drivers in our area at the time they were due to arrive. However, Uber did charge our credit card days in advance when we first scheduled it. Will never use Uber again!

A passenger urinated on my back seat. The seat is a dark black color so pictures would not show the stain. Uber refused to compensate me for the professional cleaning I had to avail myself of. I can still smell the urine. Uber is unbelievable.
Set up an Uber ride 2 days prior to needing it. They never showed up. Received a notice 10 minutes after they were due saying no drivers available. We were heading to the airport for a flight and had to wake up friends to take us. We were late for our flight and had to take a later flight which made us miss our connection for second flight. Uber sent us $5 off our next ride like it was no big deal. Will never use them again!
Took an Uber (driver named Antonio) from La Quinta in Costa Mesa to John Wayne Airport. Left my $700.00 camera in his car. Notified him right away. He never called back. Notified Uber snd never heard from them for a week telling us Antonio didn't find it in his car. Please did it get out snd walk away. And why didn't he call us back immediately. Of course he didn't find it. He is now the owner of an expensive camera. May Karma bite you in the $#*! snd more. Never use Uber.

If I could give my experience with Uber a zero I would a million times. I phoned to get an issued resolved and Omar was no help. He was disrespectful and hangup the phone on me and didn't even let me speak or give me any typeof help. If you are working with Uber and especially that this world is crazy and people are needing your help Omar you need to have some respect when you are working in customer services.
I will never use Uber again! My 20-25min drive turned into $197. Had I known this price upfront I would never had stepped a foot into that uber car! Where as my regular cab ride on the way back was only $51... Talk about a scam, I will be cancelling this credit card charge and disputing the charge. Out of control!
I booked my appointment and it was going to cost me $14.76 and then they canceled my appointment on their own and then we're trying to charge me $52 to go for a 10 minute drive this customer service sucks this company is ridiculous do not ever use this company or lift ever again they are crooks con artist and they f*** you every way they can

I was having my 18 yr old son picked up and the driver was texting and driving and I told him not to, cancelled my ride and now my account is disabled. It gets better, Im trying to resolve my issue and they are trying to tell me that the email on file doesnt match the one in their records. I only use the one email so Im not getting any help. So I have moved to Lyft! Screw Uber!
I have been driving for Uber for almost 1 year. It pays decent (approx $20) hour. I drive with Uber to make money when I want and set my own schedule. No boss barking orders at me. Can't beat that. I used Uber on occasion and had no problem. Thought they were a little high when they claim they are cheaper than a taxi. The problem arouse this week. Twice I had to take Uber from my business to my home a distance of 12 miles. First time came to $47.00. Second time to $51.00. Really? Why the difference of $5.00. It's not like my house moved or anything. The final straw came yesterday. I am a property manager for a air bnb host which does short term rentals for guests who want to visit Philly for 3 -6 days. It reained yesterday, and being unsuccessful in getting a cab, I contacted Uber. Oh the driver showed up, took one look at all the stuff I was bringing back and immediately canceled the job. Uber said it would try and find another car for me, which it never did. I ended up calling a friend to come and get me. Beware of this company
We took a mini vacation from September 11-15,2023. We took a total of 6 Uber rides with the most courteous and delightful drivers! One with Juan, Cuong, Roberto, Derlis, and twice with Philip. Our rides with these individuals could not have been better. Looking forward to Galveston in the coming year and only hope we can see them again for a ride. Great job Guys. A big thumbs up!

Worst customer service I've ever encountered. Every response is just a copy/paste canned response... they don't even read the actual complain/comment/request. I have to send my issue to them 7-10 times with multiple responses back... that's about 30-40 emails back and forth to get something as simple as a $5 cancelation ride waived because the app froze and I couldn't cancel in time. It's just ridiculous. Glad all the Sr. Leaders of the company resigned or were fired. Hopefully it changes the culture, but I doubt it, all the customer service reps are nasty $#*! offshore peeps that don't care about anything but their "ticket resolution" numbers.

I was charged twice for one ride but when it tried to charge me the second time, there wasn't any money in my account. So now it's reflecting a balance & I can't book any more rides until I pay this balance for a ride I already paid for. There is no customer service line & the faq prompts are not helpful at all. Super frustrating especially when I rely heavily on rideshare apps to get from A to B. Lyft isn't always available so this just limits me even more. Very inconvenient. Would have given zero stars if it was an option.

I was recently charged for an Uber Pass, which I did not want. I use Uber a few times a month and it wouldn't pay to get the Pass. When I saw the charge on my PayPal, I attempted to contact Uber, however they make it impossible to contact them. No phone number... no email address. Their website is horrible to navigate and doesn't even give an opportunity to speak to anyone. I tried to dispute with PayPal and they said through Uber, they have determined that I did authorize the purchase. Needles to say, I will be writing PayPal's review next.
Anyone that lives in NYC, stay away from BISHWA CHHETRI. I called an uber for my grandmother on a late night. The fare was originally $21.97. Once he picked her up he must've realized that someone else called the cab for her due to the name. So he decided to take the opportunity to switch destinations to an address in another borough while dropping her off. Once he did, he drove around while still having me as a fare. I noticed that even tho my grandma only lives 20 mins away, i didn't get a notification of my ride being completed until over 1 hr later. He turned my $21.97 fare into $89.19. The fare is usually $15, but due to high demand i paid the 21. $89.19 is ridiclous. The distance was worth $25 but he ran the time up to $54. He is a scammer & will scam u. STAY AWAY FROM BISHWA CHHETRI. Cancel immediately!

Whatever you do, just avoid this person at all cost. If you’re calling someone else a cab, communicate with them. Have them notify you as soon as they reach their destination to stop things like this from happening right then & there. Bishwa Chhetri should be fired for stealing time from loyal customers.

I used coupon they sent me to buy groceries. I got discount at the time of placing order but they charged me full price at the time of delivery. Nobody to call. No chat agents will listen to you after that. Beware of this cheater company. Chat agents are also cheaters asking for screenshot of the coupon used. You can not provide screenshot of coupon when it expired that same day. They can take money out of your account without notifying you. Please delete this app from your phone if you want safety.
I placed an order at 10:15 on my Uber app from IHOP it was 22$ and change I took an hr and a half and after I got it I was missing my waffle all I had was a few cut up strawberries and syrup and then they said they couldn't do anything for me. I would have to contact IHOP. Normally they put a seal on your food but I didn't have anything like that on it. I called IHOP and they said since I placed it with Uber I would have to contact Uber

Overcharged for a trip, due to driver refusing to follow the sat nav (because he knew better) causing a 20minute addition to my trip. I was charged for this and having now spoken to customer services they have completely ignored my issues and said they won't adjust the fare. As a lone female passenger, being sat in a car that is literally going in the wrong direction is a very unpleasant experience at 11pm. Completely disgusted with Ubers response today. I will literally never use them again. All I was asking was for the £5 additional charges to be removed... now they've lost a lot more than just my business I can assure you. Absolutely disgusted
This review is aimed at Uber drivers and I give you the alert to pay attention to the big scam that I just realized as an Uber Eat driver: When the call for a delivery appears on your screen, the rate that you are going to earn appears on your screen. You do the work of picking up the food and dropping it off at the customer's address.
A few days ago I realized (I had not paid attention before and had trusted the application) but I was surprised that all the deliveries I made in three days were half and less than half of what was offered, example: a delivery of $7.28 I received $3.08, another of $9.00 I only received $3.5, so after more than 13 miles and tolls my "earning" would be $2.00, which does not pay for a gallon of gasoline, when I call Uber help regardless of transfer me to more than 4 people and more than 2 hrs, their give me different explanations such as: the client did not give you or regretted the tip; something false since that voluntary amount is after delivery and depends on how you have done your work.
Drivers, check and if someone else is happening to you, make your defenses and make it public since if we multiply these "differences" in the amounts offered and that are charged to users, the theft or scam amounts to billions of additional dollars that Uber makes its drivers… be careful
Worst support team ever!
My account was broken by someone trying to help, and then broken further when I tried to get them to fix it.
Now they are claiming my vehicle inspection form is fraudulent ir altered, with zero explanation of what is wrong with it, and zero explanation of why it was approved before they broke my account
I booked a ride the night before for 5:30am. The driver called at 5:30am and asked me to get another driver, "You are too far away". There was no other driver so I missed my airport bus and had to take Uber to the airport 30 minutes later. Cost me an extra $45 which Uber refused to pay.
This is my first disappoint with Uber.
They haven't responded to my email sent about a month ago and the driver recently I try to contact about a friend losing an item won't respond. Makes me wonder if the driver is a thief.
The email situation was simple as I was trying to change my number to my new number and they can't even respond. I'm just going to use Lyft as they work and resolve their issues fast and quick.
Its been over 2 weeks since I made numerous trips that I STILL have yet to be paid for. There is no human to get ahold of to complain to. They just send you a default email telling you that they're looking into it, and thats the end of it. Worse customer support than Time Warner Cable! Im done wasting my time and gas with this half-assed, poorly managed, joke of a company. I look forward to the day they get shut down for some illegal business doings.
