Uber is a great way to get around the city. They have a convenient app, fast cars, and polite drivers. Sometimes prices can be high during peak demand
Unfortunately there is a zero star to rate this company. I was charged $110.00 for a "membership" that was never requested as I very rarely use this stupid service (it was used once since last year). After countless hours of messaging, as they do not dignify a mortal customer with a phone call in order to be as anonymous and detached as possible to keep on offering no customer service, I was informed that nice Uber would reimburse a whole amount of $30.00. What a scam! NEVER again will I deal with this "mafia" like so called company. Horrible!
I reported someone who stole my debit card and stole over $200.00 from my account. They did absolutely nothing. Someone told me via email someone has to pay for them to get around. I couldn't even speak to anyone.
I submitted my back round check documents@ may 28th 2022.
I call so many time to uber support
But my documents pending
I spent $ 100 for police and $ 112 for Inspection.
I have bad experience with uber
Guys be cautious, several times i was charged more than was shown at the beginning.
Have the reflex to check the history if you use dauly the uber like me.
Luckily i always met a very good customer service, the last his name is PKUMAR373, i was scammed again the last week by a dishonest driver and this guy fixed it for me.
Uber must be cautious with their drivers, some know the tricks how to scam clients.
Tip for consumers:
customer service was very helpful
My price was 12.63 my driver was sent a note telling her to meet me at the gate of my apartment but she did what she wanted and went to the apartment anyway after I got in her car she yelled and cussed me saying she had to drop off another person the said she was in front of my building looking for my apartment that was creepy I'm never using Uber again they tried to give me a Uber cash in place of her attitude I'm good on Uber
This morning, I had three charges from the UK (Uber Eats). I receive notifications about purchases per charge, as I was also involved in the Equifax breach. I'm assuming that my Uber account was hacked, as three orders were placed, and my credit card information is saved. I even got a call from a +44 country code, which is the UK, asking where I was and how to deliver my food. To top it off, my card was expired, yet Uber still authorized the charges.
I canceled my card with Capital One and wrote two separate emails to Uber. I have YET to receive a response, which is pretty terrible - especially considering the breach that they neglected to tell everyone about not long ago. I like Uber, but will seriously be considering whether I want to trust Uber with my information.
I called in because someone used my credit card account to take a ride. I called in three times: First call the guy Kunal left me on hold for about 20 minutes and the music that was playing stopped. Second time I spoke to a woman name Isabella Barrera who just kept telling me the same thing over and over about they don't support things like this. Third time Ronald Hernandez kept telling me the same thing as Isabella said and all I asked to do was speak to a supervisor but they don't seem to even understand that.
Tip for consumers:
DON'T USE THEIR SERVICE THEY HAVE NO IDEAL WHAT THEY ARE DOING!
I was charged $215 for a half hour trip. My phone died and I never relized I was going to pay that much. They suck you in with a cheap fare short distance then thay hit you hard with a big fare. Completely unfair and dishonest system. I will tell all my friends and family not to use this service.
If you are thinking of making extra money with UBER, think again! It is impossible to contact them, no phone, no direct email. I drove a rider; Uber's app is difficult to navigate, it didn't register and afterwards they said the rider canceled! So even though I did pick up and deliver, I did it for NOTHING! Now who can I complain to?
UBER fraudently charged my USAA credit card 20 euros (21.76 USD) on a 53.67 euro ride for a tip I didnt leave! I have used uber countless times and I am well versed on how to use their system I always tip my drivers but not by force and not for unauthorized amounts. Upon contacting customer service via chat they tried to tell me maybe I was confused and tipped 30 euros by accident. Lol! Are you serious? I DID NOT. I explained this was fraudulently added and they offered uber cash for fraud! Merchant doesnt have a customer service number. Ive contacted uber help chat several times and they are incompetent and unhelpful. They refuse to escalate to a manager or to correct. Had to contact my bank to report fraud.
Tip for consumers:
They dont have customer service. They have random people answering from home. Disgusting business practices.

If your in the san fransico area be on high alert. Uber drivers don't go through background check, all they need is a car, license and to be approved by a "inspector" to begin picking people up. I take it upon myself to look up the person picking me up & I've used Uber twice already. On my second trip I was to get picked up by a Akeem Davis and when I loomed his up a ton of red flags were popping up. I immediately cancelled and contact Uber yet they have refused to respond to the concerns I've asked them about regarfing these workers. Don't trust Uber drivers.
Between comparing themselves to airlines and hotels at peak season who raise theirs rates which they do but never by 5.9 percent of a normal fare or room charge. Dynamic Pricking, Surge charge and robot customer service with scripted replys they are a rip off. They are not transparent at all in their pricing. They charged $250 at 11PM for a ride that cost $30 twelve hours earlier. The driver took full advantage of the fact there were many riders looking for rides. There were also ample drivers available He raised his surge until someone accepted. There was no disclosures or an idea that he was charging $250. It is not clear what surge charge is It only states 5.9x. 5.9x of what. When you take a ride twelve hours earlier for $30 no one would expect to pay $250 for the same ride. Beware and make sure you know what you will pay before accepting a driver. They are allowed to rake you over the coals
App login issue, registration issue. Customer service has no phone number. To solve simple problems, you will see several non sense emails. No one will solve your problem. Bottom line, bad company, they do only show as a good customer service but have no solution for customer. DONT USE UBER, ITS A TROUBLE.
I was at the airport and figured I would try Uber. First guy. We went around in circles
Trying to navigate the map. I don't
Know where I am at the airport they say you can contact the driver or text I couldn't
Second driver same thing. You would think one of them would call me they could see I was still standing lost. Never ever again at least real cab drivers call you and let you know where to go and where they can meet you. I hope they do not charge
Me doe those two cancelations that would be the icing on the cake. Uber you suck
Bigtime
My account was hacked and my card was charged twice. When I tried to dispute the charges I couldn't get through by phone and I didn't get an email back. I had to call my bank and they disputed the charges but still could not get in contact with Uber. I will never trust them again.
If you are in the Philadelphia area and your uber driver is Daemon, cancel it real quick. When she picked me up she was at the wrong address so I had to literally walk a 1/2 block to her car and when she called me to ask where I was at, she was rude, even though she was at the wrong house!
Her car smelled very bad (musty and dirty clothes) and it was dirty! She had water bottles on the floor and crumbs on her seats. I couldn't even dust them off because of the kind of seats she had. So I sat in crumbs the entire ride to work.
When it was time to drop me off, she was at the wrong location once again and I had to get out and walk a block to my building. She is by far the worst uber driver and I have had some bad drivers but she is flat out terrible.
Just wanted to let Uber know that I have been driving for Lyft exclusively during the last 3 weeks and my earnings are higher despite less driving time, bye bye Uber. I warned you for months that your lack of drivers support incorporated with Uber's extortion of rider fees and declining driver fares percentages would incite a driver & rider exodus to competiting rideshare providers. Now many loyal Uber riders have willingly chosen to use Lyft because of fantastically awesome & friendly drivers like me. My rating is 4.99 and Uber did NOTHING to persuade me to continue driving for them. Well, it's Uber's loss and Lyft's gain.
It is a ripoff for both drivers and riders. Uber gets the money and your car and pocket suffers. Not to mention the safety issues. I drove for Uber for two days; 4 rides. Up to 19 per hour? Not even close! More like 2.00 per hour not mention you only get paid for the ride to the riders to their destination. The rest is on you!

Don't use it, that's my recommendation!. I ordered uber, selected the car to come and pick me up, got the confirmation that Musa (driver) is coming in 14 min (price selected was 11-14EUR). Guess what 15 min later got another message that another driver is coming in 25 min. He came after 27 min and charged me 17.5EUR +3.50EUR extra for the time...? So, he came late and i'm charged extra for this time... I need to mention as well that i was going to hospital to change my cast, as i have a broken leg and i'm in crutches; moreover was poring rain outside... When i got teh invoice after i'ev been charges, i sent an email, over and over again, nobody have any reply. I called them few times, and left voice messages (as nobody ever picks up the phone), no call bank nor reply until now, over 3 weeks has passed already. Don't use it, you have nobody to complain to in case the driver is rude or even offensive, and they just charge you whatever they wish, always EXTRA, never less
I'm at the Sheraton in downtown Seattle and the drivers can't find the place. Trying to get to the airport and the first one drove down to Pike's Market before I cancelled. The secomd one took 10 minutes to get here even though it said 1 minute away.
I scheduled a ride to the hospital for a procedure the night before my surgery. Kossi, driving a Toyota Highlander was scheduled to arrive at 06:15 AM EST with a drop off time of 06:25. The hospital is about 2 miles from my house. Kossi was 3 miles from my house when I was notified he was on his way. Instead he got a better fare to pick someone up from Dulles Airport about 25 miles from my home. Instead of picking me up on time & dropping me off on time he went out to Dulles Airport. I messaged him in the app, which said he read the text, & I called several times with no answer. He sat at Dulles for over 45 minutes before he cancelled the trip. I tried to cancel but was told I would have to pay a cancellation fee based on where Kossi was in his route to me.
Tip for consumers:
I recommend using either a Taxi Service or another ride sharing service such as Lyft. It is obvious that even if you book a trip in advance if the driver gets a better fare they will skip providing you service. Uber has no Customer Service contact capability such as a dispatcher with a taxi company. Uber is Unreliable so do NOT use them if you must be somewhere on time for an important engagement. If you must use Uber do NOT schedule more than 15-30 minutes in advance.

Uber is charging very high and looting the money, I feel both Uber and OLA are like sister companies, Have collaborated behind screen to loot the money of ppl. One question is, is morning 6:30 AM Peak time for you both? Shame.
I am using uber for more than a year
Never got disappointed...
Now uber is offering me 25% off, 75% off that is totally fek! I never got discounts...
I have used lots of coupons by inviting my frds with my promo code
But now! While I enter my promo code. Uber says invalid... Though I can book a cab but not getting promotion benefits and the fek summer offers..
Requested a ride on my Uber app on July 3 from Eden Prairie, MN to Minneapolis, MN. The first driver went to the wrong location and didn't bother trying to contact me to see why I wasn't there; for this I was charged a $5 cancellation fee. My daughter looked at the app and noticed it said that my request hadn't gone through. She sent a new request and for some reason I was charged another cancellation fee, this one was for $6. The driver who did finally show up 30 minutes after my initial request charged me $60 for a 19 mile trip. For the return trip I tried Lyft and not only did the driver show up within 5 minutes of my request, he also only charged me $18.60! Guess which service I'll be using from now on and recommending to my family and friends? Hint: it's not Uber.
I canceled an order where I used a coupon. I canceled that order to put more on that order. And I did not get my coupon back. So I asked for help. Uber uses useless pre programmed bots who doesn't understand you and give the same wrong useless answer. After a few tried, I got nothing. Lost the coupon, got a bit frustrated because the very bad none responsive costumer service.
I do not approve this company and would advice to use alternatives if possible. It is above average on price and no costumer service.
Tip for consumers:
To avoid using any Uber related apps or services. They are greedy to costumers and employees. Do not support this massive money hungry company that bend rules to their liking so they can abuse the employees even more. (Google it)

Coupon on a Uber eats order which is used, while the order is canceled. And it took me too much energy to try to ask it back
Uber takes out all hard earned money of the driver and encashs persons need
They deduct around 35-40% for the fate charges
For ex if the fate was $10.00 for 3 miles 20 min journey in downtown
Uber takes close to $4.00 and gives the uber driver $6.00
In the $6 driver spends his time drives his own CST on his own maintenance and buys gas in his own
Please don't take uber
