Unfortunately there is a zero star to rate this company. I was charged $110.00 for a "membership" that was never requested as I very rarely use this stupid service (it was used once since last year). After countless hours of messaging, as they do not dignify a mortal customer with a phone call in order to be as anonymous and detached as possible to keep on offering no customer service, I was informed that nice Uber would reimburse a whole amount of $30.00. What a scam! NEVER again will I deal with this "mafia" like so called company. Horrible!

I was a pretty loyal Uber customer until my last trip. I open the app and the only three options are 1) wheel chair accessible, 2) uber cab and 3) Spanish. 1) I 100% feel for all handicapped and accept that there are options for them. I think it's great. Should it be the first option? No. Should there be a setting on the app that says the car needs to be handicapped accessible? Yes. 2) Why on earth would I call a taxi when I'm particularly calling uber to AVOID taxis? The cost of uber cab makes absolutely zero point in calling an uber. It's more expensive! 3) Why in the $#*! do we have a Spanish option when we are in an English speaking country? There wasn't an English option when I was in Croatia using Uber recently. Nor did I expect it. $#*! UBER I WILL NEVER USE IT AGAIN.
Uber used to take 20% and give 80% to the driver, as of January 2023 they are taking anywhere from 50% - 70% in some cases. I live in South Orange County California, a ride from my city which is called Aliso Viejo to John Wayne Airport usually costs any where from $35 - $40 for the rider, in the past the driver would get anywhere from $20 -$25 of this fee, now they are getting about $10 - $13! A driver told me this a few days ago. This has left a very bad taste with the drivers and there are some that are taking the business direct instead of running it through Uber.
This company has a lot of issues and Dara is the wrong person at the top, the BOD are aware of this, but they can not just get rid of him.
This stock will be cut in half and back to $20 in the next 60-90 days, I am sure I am going to get a lot of thumbs down, but remember this post.

We used über to take us to a concert in Columbus, OH. The driver there charged us $25.94. Said uber said he can charge 7 times the regular rate but he wasn't going to do that. The charge for the driver home was $148. He said he was allowed to charge 8 times the regular rate due to high demand. I personally feel that is not how you treat your customers and will never use uber again.
This company has gone down hill quickly. I have had so many issues with huge surcharges, cancelled trips for no reason and bad experiences that I no longer am going to use them

Advises me it will send a code for the two-step authorization, but NEVER sends the code. Yes, they have my cell number correct. After waiting TWENTY-ONE minutes, I silently cursed them - wishing they would simply close up shop, and closed my browser. I'm DONE with friggin uber. Pathetic.
After that mass shooting in brooklyn (sunset park) insteas of raising the fares during a deaperate time of need for customers and being greedy, they should have looked out considering the circumstances. I had to order a Lyft once because there were no Uber's available. They literally sent a Russian Trump supporter the take me to bail my cat out of jail! Uber always has intelligent drivers!
In recent prices have dropped and service has steeped even lower. According to company policy a drive is required to wait 5 minutes before driving away and charging you with service fee, eve. If that servuce is not delivered. What makes it worse, this guy didnt even show up. We were coresponding via text so i coukd help him find the place, i went out side to flag him down, and not a soul was out there. Only three minutes had past. Come to find out days later i was still charged for the ride. Save your self the trouble and money and take a regular cab or taxi.
I have been driving only two months but done with uber. I noticed how unfair the prices, pay is so I decided to ask passangers to send me via text how much they actually paid (after they got the email with how much their actual fare was) and time and time again what I got paid based on fare was off by $1-4 on each trip! They steal from the drivers! Not only they take their 20% they take more! When you report it on each trip they come back and say oh ok the fare will be adjusted, not only they adjust it wrong but you never see that money, ever. When will that adjustment hit your account? Never! Be aware, you will pay more then 20% take, it's more like 35% most rides because if like the passanger pays $10 in reality they paid like 13-14$!
I used uber for the first time last night and was quoted $41 it was going to cost me and when I got home and the driver showed me how much it cost and it was $116. The driver could not believe it and neither could I. Been fighting with uber back and forth over email. I just want to talk to someone and not this email $#*!. NEVER TAKE UBER
Uber is a disgrace despicable company! They lost my business forever! The county I live said Uber is providing rides instead of using the on demand bus. I downloaded the app and it shows my voucher. When I made a ride it does not show. I made and attempt to use the help. It goes nowhere and says I didn't pay for a ride yet. They wanted $40 each way and I am suppose to be paying $1.50. I am lucky I tried it ahead and didn't trust them or I would of gotten screwed with a big charge and it costs $25 just to cancel a reservation. They do not offer any customer service phone help at all! It is outrageous. All they want to do is get money of the misery and backs of others and provide no customer service! It is sickening! They made us miss our doctor appointment and caused us more stress and harm. The county said the voucher still works and they said an email no reply that it doesn't. I called another number it is only south american accented workers who you can't understand. If you ask for help they just hang up on you. Is this the America we want and deserve? Horrible!

I schefuled a pickup on Miami Beach waited much longer than was quoted on the map. The map kept changing time to a longer period. After a while I called the driver to see where he was and he said in Spanish that he didn't speak English. I canceled the trip and tried to schedule another and the price went from $16 to $43. I called Central taxi and had a car in 3 minutes for less money. I seriously doubt I'll use Uber again.
Uber is horrible I have been an uber rider for quite some time now in NYC and recently moved to Florida and have had nothing but problems and frustrating rides due to the fact that they do not screen drivers to make sure they speak even a minimal amount of English. I always get a non english speaking driver who cannot understand even the most basic of directions on where to pick me up. I am always waiting before they even arrive yet I am the one being charged wait time fees when it is the driver who does not understand my messages on how to enter my complex and where my building is. They ALWAYS go in the wrong way and have to turn around and come back around to my side of the complex then charge me wait time fees. I have never had this problem with Lyft so I will never be using uber again until they change their policies and begin REQUIRING their drivers to speak enough english to communicate with their passengers.

I used Uber for the first time this weekend in New Orleans from the Amtrac to the French Quarter... cost $68.85. Took the taxi on the way back and it was $17.00. Taxi driver was great... Uber driver was snarky. Wish I had read the reviews before I signed up for Uber, but, I will never use it again.
Yesterday I got a drunk driver for uber driver today I had another uber driver that stole my money supposed to pick up a trip and bring her home and never did the whole trip like he had her in the car And Uber is making excuses for that. Saying that she was 16 a minor they were not supposed to drive a minor and still. Doesn't justify why he never showed up. And still did the trip like he did Then tell me they're gonna block my app because it wasn't supposed to pick up a banner. Uber does not work. I left my car keys in my other car which my boyfriend had at the time and i had to get to work and did not have my car keys so i did what any other person would do. I heard some kinda frighting stories about uber and some of the drives but i thought why not give it a try. So i go on my uber account and i see there is a driver not far from me but it was still early to confirm the ride, so i waited until time was right but as soon as i needed to confirm the ride uber stops working wont let me confirm wouldn't even let me add a payment. What app does not let someone add a payment. So i was very late had so much anxiety because of uber an app where its supposed to help but they give no help at all i was very disappointed and deleted my account i would't recommend to anyone to use this app unless you want anxiety... i hate uber
Works ONLY if you are LEAVING a major metro area. Any suburban stuff, just call a cab. My driver showed up reeking of meth, ran over a median strip. Wildly insane service. Plus, try calling any time that's not convenient. "NO DRIVER AVAILABLE". F-this.

Took a ride the day after christmas from my moms house to mine. A ride that is usually only 16 bucks was 22 and change because of "surge pricing" ok whatever so i book the trip and my driver was fine until i got out at my house then i got a notification saying my ride was canclled and i was charged 52 and change. Tried to get a hold of customer support they said they would look into it. Its been 29 days and still no anwser or refund. Now the app is saying that the charge is too old to do anything. This may not be an airport but im out. Screw uber and their terriable customer service. I wont use your subpar service again

Driver Gurvinder ( car Tata Indica phone number *******861)in Chandigarh charged me Rs 401.51 instead of Rs 74.27. I entered the correct location and I was following the GPS till the drop off. And I was wondering how the driver changed the location because it was correct till he dropped me off. Driver somehow changed it after that and charged me extra. This isn't fair- please check driver's phone or how he did it. And he didn't show me that he completed the trip and Once I got out of the car he did something on his phone. Same time I thought that something was wrong. Now I can't trust Uber at all.
They charged me four times the fare I was supposed to pay and they didn't even confirmed me. I was shocked to see the email of 401Rs.

I was so upset to see the prices have sky rocketed. I went the first time to National Airport and it was under $30. This last time it was about $36 going to and $55 coming home. I couldn't believe it was so terrible. I liked the drivers and it is not their fault but I can park in a hotel garage for $10 a day and take the shuttle over. I did an estimate on a trip that was supposed to only be an estimate price for $20. I didn't realize I picked a sub so after the ride I was charged $68.00. Why would I want to pay $68 if the taxi would of onlyour costed $30 I used Uber for over an year Iat not use uber anymore that was an outrageous price to pay for an $30 trip.
I had a meeting today and the Uber representative never showed up. I called their administration team and they hung up on me twice. This company is ridiculous and should not be in business.
