Unfortunately there is a zero star to rate this company. I was charged $110.00 for a "membership" that was never requested as I very rarely use this stupid service (it was used once since last year). After countless hours of messaging, as they do not dignify a mortal customer with a phone call in order to be as anonymous and detached as possible to keep on offering no customer service, I was informed that nice Uber would reimburse a whole amount of $30.00. What a scam! NEVER again will I deal with this "mafia" like so called company. Horrible!
I requested a ride at 7:45pm I could see the driver on the map never leave his home. The driver calls me and tells me he is outside my home when I knew he wasn't I called back and the driver was very rude he was very rude I hate to say it but mostly all every African drivers I get from uber are rude and they always have an attitude. The driver told me he was not coming to pick me and hung on me I was then charged a cancellation fee when the driver was the one that cancelled the trip. I never have this issue with lyft uber needs to get better drivers I will not be taking another uber i will use lyft or walk to my destination. I find it ridiculous I have to deal with someone rude when they are getting paid to drive me around.
Uber doesn't care if you have a problem with their driver; the person on the phone promised me a $20 credit but never applied it to my account; I sent them a complaint via email, they never even acknowledged the email.
I missed a flight because of the complete incompetence of their driver, who didn't speak English AND went to the Fort Lauderdale airport for the first time in his life AND doesn't know the difference between Arrivals and Departures at the airport (first took me to the airport hangar, then to the airport parking, then finally found the terminal but dropped me off at the arrivals and I missed the flight by 3min.). I spent extra $150 because of him, for the hotel and getting to the airport in the morning, not to mention the upheaval it caused me at work; and they didn't even respond to my email?
After spending thousands of dollars in Uber while doing my investigation from 2021 to 2023 in a hotel portal system investigation exposing a bogus witness protection in Washington state and California throughout the country and other countries I will not be using Uber anymore
I wish I could give them zero stars. They are PRICE GOUGERS. Two days before hurricane Ian arrived, I needed a ride from TPA. The same ride that cost $55 a week before cost me $153. On top of that, I had to wait 30 minutes for a ride that I had pre-reserved. Then to top it off the driver couldn't speak English and took me 20 minutes out of the way. Never again!
I refired one of my friend at the end of May2022. And My friend completed the trips and got the bonus at June 2022 until today I'm calling the support every day I her the same words we did escalation for you it takes from 24 to 72 hours after two days the said the same thing. And you bonus is pending. My bonus is pending from six weeks. And until today no any news.
Opened the app with my iphone and was told I needed to go to my email. That never happened before. I don't have access to my primary email with my cell because I DON'T NEED TO. They have everything they need from me already amex platinum/email/picture/ all that stupid $#*! ALREADY. I get home and contact them and they have no answer for anything. Told me I should go to the community and talk about it. I'm 56 years old/own my own business/made over $400K last year. I don't go to blogs to talk about $#*! get real lol.
Uber took $260 from my account about 6 weeks ago. Every time I have called or chatted with the company they say there is an issue with software. It's christmas time and Uber is not helping at all getting this resolved. I'm thinking it's about time to get legal action involved. DO NOT TRUST UBER OR ITS SUPPORT STAFF!

I had booked cab from kondapur to Chilkur Balaji temple, they accepted booking but when driver came and asked were to go when i said to Chilkur Balaji temple
Then the driver is not ready to come with us.he reply's they don't provide service out the city and i have to cancelled my cab and they charged me for cancellation charges also

Uber is a big fraud. They charged me with double money. My money was cut from pytm also and my driver also asked for the money. For the same there was no positive response from the uber customer care... dont try it... It is a big cheater..
Uber is the worst, they charge for everything. They allow their drivers to say that they are at the destination so that the customer is charged a waiting fee. I was literally waiting on the driver outside for 7 minutes because he was at the wrong complex and i get charged a waiting fee. To top it off uber allows their drivers to text and drive. I sent the pics to uber, and they stated that it is not a cause to be alarmed. I have more, but it keeps freezing when i upload more pics. Alot of the uber drivers are rude and uber doesnt care. Uber only wants your money
I used Uber from San Diego Airport going to an interview. I was very frustrated because Uber won't work using my Cellular Service! You have to find "hot spot wi-fi" connection otherwise you can't login to UBER! I almost missed my interview due to the poor UBER connection from the airport! The first driver cancelled because we couldn't text each other again due the poor connection. I had to wait for a second driver. Back in Phoenix (from San Diego), I had the same internet issue on my iphone. I gave up requesting the UBER service and took a regular cab! Hence, I agree with other reviewers, the UBER idea is great but execution is miserable!
Tip for consumers:
Tip: Don't take UBER if you have an appointment or during rush hours (due to the SCAM on surge fees!). Also, unless you're sure you can get good internet connection, take a regular CAB. There is company called "boingo hotspot" that it is trying to scam people by charging Wi-Fi usage at US airports! I refused to pay $5 they want to charge for Wi-Fi.

I got dropped off by the first guy, before I could even put my seatbelt on (all of a sudden had to take his wife to work)
So I call another Uber (gives me a 2.5 times rate... with no information on what the heck the rate is, NO OTHER OPTION - that or no UBER, and every time you search another one. The rate gets higher and higher...)
I get home, there's no service. I tip the guy decently in cash for getting me home finally

My first time experience with Uber was objectionable! Signed up as a first time rider with Uber under a promotion called Chase50. Offer was for 50% off for first timers for the first 2 trips thru July 31,2017. Had a difficult time to get the first one honored and the second one was lamely refused. Their app is terrible! It willl not allow a promotion code to be accepted. Communication thru the app is rigid and tortuous and the usual 800 number in the charges description won't allow any incoming calls only refers you back to their app which is worthless. And to top it all the second driver's conduct and dress code was second rate to put it mildly. Thank goodness for Lyft which I have been using all along without any problems whatsoever. Their driver's professionalism is top rate. Even their promotions are automatic. I will erase Uber app not to use them ever again.
I book hotel to airport. I booked for 48sar and finally it costs 84sar when I received the email. This is more expensive than a normal cab. This is more expensive than the official cab which I took when I did the single trip from airport to hotel. Uber, you messed up, you start to be like Ryan Air!
This happened in Washington DC, need to get to the airport. Uber driver arrives, sees me and my family, kids, then leaves inmediately, without even saying why. Uber then charges me a $5 cancelation, charges me!. I don't know what to do, really need to get to the airpost, so I request them again. Another driver arrives, and does exactly the same thing. Uber does exactly the same thing of course and charges me another $5. What is this?. On top of all that, no way to contact them, worst service I've seen in my entire life.
Of course I am fighting them and I will get my money back one way or another.

Uber representatives provided the same explanation over and over again to me, a confused and frustrated customer. I wanted to know why Uber was charging my account multiple times for one transaction. Why do I have to spend my time (my time = $$) trying to figure out all of Ubers obscure charges. Uber as a service does not follow ethical practices to ensure complete transparency to its customers. You cannot charge my account all of these fees and expect me to wait for the money to be returned (at my banks disposal). I do not feel confident and or trustworthy of Ubers services. The customer service agents simply are unapologetic and not empathetic. My concerns on whatever level have not been addressed as to Ubers charging policies. For that reason, I am not using Ubers services any longer. I will use another driving and eating delivery service moving forward. I feel forcefully taken advantaged of. Uber cannot touch my bank account and do so as it pleases. I will be deleting my Uber account and stopping services. See screen shots of some robotic customer service and a screen shot of the wild flip flop that happened in my bank account for only 3 purchases.

They hired people where each of them sweeping the responsibilities off their heads and passing you to another one and then they say wait for 5-7 business days and your issue will be solved, it's happening with me for last one month and I talked with 5-6 representatives and their responses were same but issue remain unsolved, today I tried to chat with a guy name sunpreet obviously an Indian and he was writing a sentence in 15 minutes, obviously serving his chaiii samoosa rather working, such a big company image with a garbage customer support ( shameful)
I am kinjal Raj. Today is 20th July and I have ordersome groceries from walmart through Uber and I have scaduled at night 9 to 10. I never arrived any order. I also waiting outside for my order and when I asked for help the representative told me that you have not added perfect location so agent could find the location and then he disposed everything. Is he doing right?Obviously not!This is not satisfactory answer. I am very very disappointed with Uber service today and I lot around 100$ and not getting my order.

My account was cloned, so I have having money taken out of my account for Uber trips and Uber Eats that I did not make/have.
I tried using their Uber_support twitter account, and received the same automated message over and over.
I then wrote back, and didn't get a reply. I then replied to my reply, and my issues was apparently taken to the appropriate team. Who then sent me the same automated message.
I tried to again explain my concerns, but continued to received the same automated message.
The charges still continued to come out of my account. When I messaged them about this, guess what... THE SAME AUTOMATED MESSAGE.
Terrible customer service! If I could have given 0 stars that's what it would have been.
Uber is the worse!
When I call a Uber from greenacres, Florida, is like banging my head on the wall! Is either the driver don't speak English to understand a simple text to let them know the past my location, they can't drive, when they get to the location they cancel the drive, they stay on their phone while driving, drive very slow, run the red light smh.
Off lately since past few months the experience over Uber has been terrible!
The drivers are rude, they call to confirm the drop location and cancell the ride, they drop istant text stating they are at the pick up location on confirming they are still on the way, in instances of techincal error where online payment is not possible (paid in cash at the end of ride) the app still shows payment pending. Even after explaining to the customer care they will not wave off the fare.
EXTREMELY disappointed with Uber. 5 days ago my account with Uber was hacked and someone in Australia (I am a US resident and have never even traveled there) charged my card upwards of $100. I had to cancel my credit card and am currently moneyless as I am away at school with no bank nearby. I have contacted Uber FIVE times and NO RESPONSE whatsoever. I cannot cancel my account as Uber does not allow customers to call a support line, forcing me to communicate via messages through my account. Ironically, none of my messages have been answered and someone is still attempting to use my account. The company does not allow you to remove credit card information from your account unless you add in another. I will never use Uber again and I recommend you do not either. If something goes wrong you will have no help whatsoever from this unprofessional company.
Just got robbed of our food. We ordered some food from Greggs (Warstone Lane), one of the items being 4 bakes and 4 doughnuts as a deal. We get our order and start eating but then realise none of our doughnuts were in the bag. We called the store to let them know of this, they then double confirmed that they put the doughnuts in a separate bag (there's now three bags in total) and gave them to the Uber driver. They had also numbered each bag, we only have bag 1 and bag 3. So we then call the Uber driver to ask where the 3rd bag is and he says "I don't know". We ask him "how many bags did you take from the store", he says 3, so again we ask him where the 3rd bag is, he stays silent for a long time then says "I don't know, you have to call the store not me". He kept clarifying that he had collected THREE bags from the store but only gave us TWO bags. Then he hung up and blocked the number.

I got a cab coming and saying he is an uber, later when we arrived he said that he is actually an uber taxi and i have to pay as it goes not to be cherged from account as normal uber. I said that i dont have money and i specifially asked him if he is an uber so i can use my paypal account and he said yes
Your credit car information is not safe in uber.
