Unfortunately there is a zero star to rate this company. I was charged $110.00 for a "membership" that was never requested as I very rarely use this stupid service (it was used once since last year). After countless hours of messaging, as they do not dignify a mortal customer with a phone call in order to be as anonymous and detached as possible to keep on offering no customer service, I was informed that nice Uber would reimburse a whole amount of $30.00. What a scam! NEVER again will I deal with this "mafia" like so called company. Horrible!
Called uber xl. Got exact time and location. We were at Renaissance Hotel in Raleigh. Driver texts and says he is at our location, which is is not. He says he will be at our location in 2 minutes. I watch his (lack of) movement. Finally I cancel when he faiks to arrives. Then I am charged $5 for canceling. I am canceling uber
It would be a bit unfair to many other great uber drivers i have met but i was getting really angry after some of the drivers cancelled my trips. Damn, they are suck. Seriously, my stupid drivers were $#*!ing crazy. He called me to ask me where i was, i told him the pick up point i was standing at but because i was in the other side of the road, i tried to tell him that but he talked to me in his broken english with an aggressive voice. He didnt even notice the name of the streets i tried to tell him and misheard what i was saying. He hung up the phone without saying anything and i realised that he was in the wrong direction and i tried to contact him but he didnt pick up the phone. After a while he cancelled my trip. Suckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk. I am too sick of these types of uber drivers. Plz recruiting and tracking your driver selectively.
I called the uber # *******237 and a foreign man just hung up on my while inwas talking to him. I asked if my order had been cancelled and he said yes. I had called the day before to cancel but was just calling today to check and make sure of that so I wouldn't be charged and to have him to remove my debit card. Then he pointed me to the website after I asked to remove my card from the system. Then he signed and said well this conversation is going no where and havena great day! I was still talking while he was saying this. I wasn't rude or mean to him at all wow. This was my first time using uber too. Ugh...the way of the world.
Uber website is a disaster, log in with Facebook doesn't lead to you to your account directly, typing in phone no. From other countries will lead to RED WORDS error message said "null", saying my USA no. Is registered but doesn't let me to log in with that no., cannot add a new credit card, saying charge is overdue, RED WORDS EVERYWHERE. So frustrated to use the Uber app AND even on the website. Lyft is so much better, Lyft website took me 2 minutes Uber took me 15 and still I am not able to register as a driver OR passenger. How hard can it be to set up an easy-to-use website, it's not rocket science. Stupid company.
March 2021: Used Uber multiple times in NYC Highlighting several surprises relating to covid19 and surcharges.
NY Congestion fees for every ride, even when routes were wide open.
Waiting time fees were added indiscriminately, even when riders were at pick-up spot before Uber arrived.
Reduced passenger limit from 4 to 3 on Uber X by 25%
Reduced passenger limit from 6 to 5 on Uber XL by 17%
So for 6 occupants, forced to order two cars.
Ride on route that was $14 was increased to $21 that's 150% higher for 2 passengers in UberX.
No Uber Pool offered for above ride.
I had a pre scheduled uber ride on 02/22/2019. I received a notice that the UBER driver, Charles had arrived at my home, but no UBER car outside. I walked the block to locate the UBER driver with no success. Then. UBER charged me for a missed ride. Bad UBER!
Wedding was at 5:00PM and just a few miles away. Uber said it would arrive in 5 minutes so I ordered an Uber at 4:15PM. The uber did not show up until 4:42PM. I arrived to the wedding at 5:02PM and was not allowed in until the ceremony was finished. Thanks Uber for sucking and having me miss my friend's wedding. Should've just drove and got a Lyft back home. Learned my lesson and never using Uber again. OH and on top of their new ridiculous fees, I was charged a waiting fee. SO you are now charged a booking fee, temporary fuel charge (although gas prices have continuously been going down), Texas regulatory recovery fee and then my added wait fee. NEVER AGAIN. Lyft is where I hope all the business goes to.

One of you drivers Sibusiso Uber motorbike KC30CMGP was very rude he processed my order as delivered and he did not get to my gate. He started the timer whilst I had asked him to type in the address on his GPS because it'll show the accurate location he hung up on me. Uber is known for its quality service and high standards but what I've experienced today was nothing close to that.
Going through my account today I saw a charge for Uber One for 9.99. I called my bank, and low and behold, this charge has been coming out of my account for over two years. My bad for not noticing... it comes out the same time all my monthly bills are paid.
I spent an entire day trying to cancel this service and get my money back. There is NO phone number for customer service and has to all be done on line. I dont have an account so I have no means of "logging in" as requested. I finally find a way to get a message sent and get a response from not one, but two people in two different emails, with names I cannot pronounce. Fast forward, I have spent all day answering questions via email and responding and it was discovered someone named Joseph opened the account. I dont know anyone by this name. Ive explained this. Over and over. I requested payments be stopped and monies returned again... and silence. Absolutely no response from the one person I was talking to. Six hours later, I get an email from the second person stating "youve never answered any of my questions." Omg, I am going crazy trying to do this. I dont know what they dont understand about "I didnt open it, I dont know anyone by this name, and I didnt give authorization". Then to top everything off... a message pops up while Im typing to the second person that says "It may be easier to do this by phone. Would you like us to call you for 39.00?" Are you flippin kidding me? This is outrageous.
Check your statements people. I don't receive paper statements and never noticed this charge until today. The bank cannot stop the payment without blocking my card. The damage is already done. Believe me... I will die before I ever use Uber services just because of this. Zero customer service!
Booked an Uber for this morning map show driver is a block away. Then I get a notice my ride has ended. I never was picked up. I was charged the 40 plus dollars. No response from Uber!
So I live and die by reviews by my job these are very important to me. I contact them I got a price to get to the airport I booked my flight which is $400 according to them it was $60 to give me the airport once I decided to set that drive, they told me unavailable Uber sucks
It cost me about $200 more thank you Uber for lying to me
I have been driving for Uber for 10 months and today I found out they are not reimbursing the drivers in Hampton Roads Virginia the correct amount for the tolls. I spoke to a few reps who informed me they will only correct the past 10 days. SHAME on Uber for not taking care of their drivers and doing the right thing.
You can close this business and search for better one.

Have you as a driver tried to get app support when urgently needed... forget it!
At least lyft has phone support that can be accessed within minutes.
Again uber showed a totally wrong pickup location in Puerto Vallarta Mexico, even though I had used Uber at this location before. The Uber software did NOT let me change the pickup location. Apparently Uber does not use a satellite or Google maps to determine the location. The user interface is lousy, especially for a multibillion dollar company. When it works, Uber is very good, when it doesn't, it is horrible and forces a rider to take a ripoff taxi
Uber is the worst service as my account has been breached and is being used by other people to get free rides never give your credit card details to anybody long term

In the car just an absurd price of 39 pounds! And to top it off has had to walk the extra 20 mins to her own work after dropping our daughter! I understand the fair thing for the drivers but where do you base them obsured rates from! It took and ectra 4 mins than usual and got charged an extra 30 quid due to traffic yoyre company is robbing people and to make it worse yoyre doing it to them on the spot in the veichles! It cost 12.00 to go 1 mile with Uber. I took a cab back 6.00. Way over priced. They hot greedy big mistake. I'm not going to give a tip when I have already been taking advantage of.

I called an uber for my 98 year old cousin she had 3 pieces of luggage and the lazy S. O. B. Driver wouldn't even offer her a hand puting them in the car or takening them out and to top it offer he turns and tell her if you don't hurry and get your luggege out i'm gonne have to charge you wait time. I have set up accounts with all of my numbers- we have only used it a few times the app never works, it always has some glitch, you cannot cancel your account or get in touch with anyone- EVER- they have no way to communicate if there is technical difficulties. TAKE A CAB much easier and no complications and the customer service is much better.

DONT DO IT TAKE A CAB!!!! YOU MIGHT ACTUALLY GET CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!
