Unfortunately there is a zero star to rate this company. I was charged $110.00 for a "membership" that was never requested as I very rarely use this stupid service (it was used once since last year). After countless hours of messaging, as they do not dignify a mortal customer with a phone call in order to be as anonymous and detached as possible to keep on offering no customer service, I was informed that nice Uber would reimburse a whole amount of $30.00. What a scam! NEVER again will I deal with this "mafia" like so called company. Horrible!
They have fraudulently charged my card 8 times before I could cancel card. Can't get anyone at uber to talk to... email only. My personal opinion is it's a c/c scam company.
She continually amazed me with her skill and expertise on the road. She was very kind and courteous and knew every possible avenue of travel. Props to Uber for their fine selection.
UBER treats their drivers with disrespect and essentially scams drivers into investing more time and money than the company pays. Much better driving companies out there
This is really not a review on driving, it's about some one has used my debit card in California & I live in Michigan & there is no customer service to look into this issue & it's EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING. So my card can be used and absolutely no one is available. Not even in this so called app and it's not right. So I'm out of my money while some one in another state gets to use my card without it being verified if that card belongs to that person who used it. THIS IS NOT RIGHT, AND YES I'M EXTREMELY ANGRY. Because my bank can't dispute this until I speak with someone from uber. I will be calling my local news for this

I know no one's going to do anything. I just want it to be know that uber allows debit cards to be used without verifying if it belongs to the person they are driving. They wouldn't like it if someone took their money out their account not knowing or verifying making sure ID and name matches.

When I read this line when searching for an uber I book a cab instead. This morning when looking for an Uber to get from the auto shop to my office (a 5 minute ride) the lowest quote was $23 so I took a cab for $8. Uber used to be so good and has now become a rip off! Also, the last time I took an Uber for a 15 minute ride the driver berated me for the short distance and said "I don't usually accept short rides like this one because it isn' worth my time"...yet he was driving a $100,000 BMW SUV so he wasn't doing to bad being an Uber driver.
I had several bad experiences with Uber taxis in Washington DC (didn't know tehir way) and terrible experiences with taxis Uber in Paris France (drivers never came! Twice in three days, the driver didn't come without notice. I waited and waited and waited until I realized I should call another one).
Ok so I schedule my very first uber ride a week in advance becuz they offer this service and I like doing things in advance if possible. Scheduled a 3:30 am ride to the airport, so 3 am rolls around and decided I better check in again cuz no one wants to arrive late and miss there flight... so I decided to call an uber customer service rep and ask about my pre scheduled ride... lol first joke I speak English, they speak in tungs so I hang up on them and call back for the second joke, they also speak a foreign language and they dont understand English I hang up again so now its close to 3:30 am and I went ahead scheduled another pick up and what pops up on every car they offer... No available cars at this time... so they wint tell you in advance that no one from uber is coming for you... I wint call them again
Medicaid did a Uber ride all 3 drivers canceled because they were all at the wrong place and don't answer the phone at all much less give you plate numbers for the vehicle not even the name of the driver Uber y'all drivers suck that's why I prefer Lyft 100%

I had booked a uber cab and than i had received a call from driver. After comfomation i wait one houor for cab but there is not even a sigal response. When i call back Nobody was picking my call. I will never take uber cab in my life.
I ordered a car at Miami Internation Airport. Got notification text that driver was on the way. After waiting a little bit, I received a text that driver cancelled pickup and I should order a new uber. This has happened more than once at MIA. Has anybody else had this experience?

Alert everyone, I was robbed of $120,00 on my debit card by Uber driver with the company's collusion on 6/5/21, stole my money but not my right to speak. Tomorrow you can be the next victim.
More times then I can count im having to find alternate rides to work. There will be cars showing all over but nobody ever takes the ride, or they will take it get 95% to pick up then cancel it.

Uber went from 5% commission - 25% and now they have raised the safety fee to $1 60 per ride. So all in all if you done about $100 worth of work with Uber you are looking at about 60 bucks.
Took uber to club $22 took uber back home from same place 8.9 miles $115.00. How can they get away with this? They should be ashamed of themselves! Spread the word
Well all you other cab companies please take a backseat, uber was the only cab service that was available to pick my Sister up and bring her home and they also picked up my Brother in Law who was standed on the 401. They were the only company ( not beck, not diamond, not maple leaf) that was able to go the 401 and retrieve him from his car and take him home. The police were not able to assist, CAA was not able to assist, the Hyghway Maintenance was not able to assist, 311 not able to assist, 511 not able to assist but Uber was able to do what the experts could not do.
Outside of a life and death situation, call Uber they will come through for you
We used to uber to ride to the resturant The Optimist it was great. On the departure from the restaurant uber driver came to pick us up. I was trying to get seated in the vechile and then the problem started the driver decided to hit the gas petal and I was hanging onto the door being dragged down the street. My husband yelled at the driver to stop and helped me get into the car. The driver did ask if I was ok and my reply was yes but I have bruise"s and scrapes on my forehead, knees and shoulder. If you choose to use uber makre sure the driver doesn't hit the gas petal before you can get seated inside of the vechile.
If yall want us to pick up small orders that is umder $10 dollars yall need to chage the tip pay instead of letting customer pay 50 cent to 3 dollars they need to pay 5 dollars if they want there order pick up
I would like to give them a zero On July 11,2020 I'll order the Uber to go to work. I took the same route I take 3 to 4 times a week one of those days being Saturday morning at 7:15 AM. I didn't do anything different, we didn't take a different routes, no stops, not an upgraded vehicle. When I placed the order the price that showed was what I pay Every time. However this time I actually should've been a simple trip turned out to be an expensive one. Instead of my normal $16-$18 charge they charged me $30. I try to get a hold of them but to no avail. Yes, I have emailed them, but their response is or seems computer-generated. Each one basically telling me I am out of luck. I don't understand how they can treat a customer this way, any customer especially one that uses them frequently. But they've proven they don't care. It seems to be about the almighty dollar. I am a student trying to make ends meet. Like many other people I live paycheck to paycheck. I have no choice but to Uber because of where I live and where I work. However I am now gun shy I'm not sure that I ever want to use them again. They have refused to help me. Out right refused and told me that they appreciate my feedback but there's nothing they can do. I have never used UBER and never will after reading reviews and stories on the news. If enough people stop using them they will be forced to fix the problem or go out of business.
I was a former Driver for Uber and I liked the company as a whole BUT I was recently arrested and put in jail for 15 days for getting into a fight. SO, uber ran a back ground check and saw there was an arrest with CHARGES of an assault. They then suspended my account. The last time I looked I lived in America and by Constitutional Rights say that I am Innocent until proven guilty.
I was picked up from my workplace on 30/8/2017 at around 8:56 pm by cab no. TN 07 CE 8554. The trip started on my account but the drivers account was not updated. Navigation kept directing the driver to my pick up point. Finally after taking a full circle and wasting my time he called up customer service. The executive directed him to cancel my ongoing trip and ask me to book another assuring that the same cab will be assigned. The driver cancelled and when i booked again i was assigned a ride 20 min away. The driver asked me to get off on the street amidst a downpour. When i refused to get off away from my pick up point, while it was raining and demanded to talk to customer service again, the driver called up the office again but refused to let me speak. Customer service executive told him to tell me that i am not being charged for the trip so get off. I have never seen such behavior in my life. The moment you undertake the responsibility of a trip, you are taking responsibility for our time, safety and good service delivery and in return take payment from us. you cannot waste our time, compromise our safety and then put us through discomfort and finally say 'ok we won't charge you this time'. Looks like uber is no better than a bunch of scoundrels with no work ethics or standards.

I sent them a message about how I was treated during a ride a gentleman cancelled because I was disabled and didn't walk fast enough to get in his car ive been working with them for a long time and never had an issue I have many witnesses that seen that man treat me with disrespect and even stood up for me and what did I get as a message that the driver said there was threatening remarks and they don't tolerate that and basically like it was my fault I was livid thanks uber for your help
In fact, lately I haven't used any other service because Uber is just so effective and affordable, especially when going out socially, because drinking and driving is not an option.
I have had THEE worst experiences with Uber. If they are not driving past me and then charging me a cancellation fee, driving recklessly with my kids in the car, barely speaking English, or purposely driving out the way to increase the fare. I also had a driver that was supposed to take me to the Southwest terminal at Ronald Reagan. He drove passed the terminal and almost out of the airport. When I asked him where he was going he started driving in reverse in busy rush hour airport traffic. I then told him to stop at which point he told me to get out his car and left me, my fiancee, and our bags in the middle of the street. The pictures below are screenshots of the fares I took from my hotel to the San Diego Convention Center. The first one is the fastest and correct way to get to the Convention Center. The second photo clearly shows the twist and turns the driver took and then when I complained told me to get out and I had to walk the rest of the way! From where my hotel was all the driver had to do was drive straight down West Ash and then make a left on Harbor.
