Unfortunately there is a zero star to rate this company. I was charged $110.00 for a "membership" that was never requested as I very rarely use this stupid service (it was used once since last year). After countless hours of messaging, as they do not dignify a mortal customer with a phone call in order to be as anonymous and detached as possible to keep on offering no customer service, I was informed that nice Uber would reimburse a whole amount of $30.00. What a scam! NEVER again will I deal with this "mafia" like so called company. Horrible!
My phone was stolen by an Uber driver. Uber could care less. Filed theft report with the police. In doing my own investigation into the driver I discovered he has an extensive criminal history. Uber obviously doesn't do a criminal background check on their drivers before hiring them.
I'm constantly being denied by untrained and uneducated drivers because of my service dog. Uber needs to step up, train their drivers and give consequences for their drivers breaking the Uber Policy and the Canadian Law.

Uber advertises their prices, however once I finish the ride, I find I have been charged an average of $10-$15 more in a "booking fee", "wait time" fee, "airport drop off and surcharges". I prefer knowing upfront what the costs are. Secondly, the only way to communicate is through their APP - no humans, no emails, and if an issue is not listed, there is no way to report it. PS. Donwloaded my bill, but this system is not accepting pdf's or png's -?

Unfortunately there is no way out of Uber one! You can't undo the auto renewal process no matter what instructions they send from Uber help department, it's simply not an option. So I'd highly recommend avoiding the Uber One membership!
I was on the clock picking up someone's order when I ended up needed ubers 24/7 free 25 mile towing. Uber never was able to send a tow truck and the company I charge of towing did not get ahold of me. I and my wrecked car was left stranded on the streets without any help.
We set up Uber for the first time and used it right away and our first ride went from $58.30 to $62.80 and then the final cost without the tip ended up at $87.30
These add on charges we were never shown at the start. We thought the cost they show you on each option before you select it was the cost and that's not true. We had a Reservation Fee $18.00 and a Booking Fee $5.25 and
Chicago Accessibility Surcharge $0.10 and another
Chicago Ground Transportation Surcharge $1.13
Chicago TNP Administrative Surcharge $0.02
Be warned, the price is not the price and not worth it. Take a cab instead

Driver drove off while I was seated in car, door on other side still wide open and my friend had one leg in and was almost dragged and fell onto the pavement and Street had I not shouted to Driver to stop.
Arrived outside home, opened the door and about to get out when Driver said 'its OK, no cars around' which I found sarcastic and feisty. I looked at his face and his eyes were very sleepy, he seemed to be on drugs with a hinted smell of cannabis etc.
I reported this to Uber and requested refund but Uber ignored me and kept asking questions which ivexalready provided.
I will now file a complaint with TfL Taxi Licensing and Enforcement department.

Agreed on price of $76 from airport to home. Uber app stated driver is 6 minutes away, then 5 minutes away...then no driver...uber app refreshed and now price was $129.25 with NO OPTION to cancel.

Took a ride on 20.8.23 from north shore, auckland to holiday inn express hotel in the city. Our indian uber driver kept nodding off behind the wheel, and my friend had to keep talking to the driver during the ride to keep him awake. The driver then shared his personal life including the properties he owns and rents out and that uber driving is just one way he does to pay his mortgage. I'm concerned that this driver is so tired or have been drinking alcohol and will have an accident and endanger his passengers or other motorists behind his wheel. Unfortunately, my friend used his app, i didn't, and he has since went back overseas. I hope Uber would conduct regular blood alcohol testing for its drivers, including checks on how many hours they are doing behind the wheel of an Uber licensed/ registered car.

Uber disabled my account and refuses to tell me why. I am not able to contact them by phone and they do not reply to my emails. Their chat feature will not provide any assistance if they sent you an email. Very disappointed with their lack of support!

Unbelievable the time I've had to use to get my refund in which Uber offered me before I said anything. Customer service not having a phone #, this is just a money grab. The employees I spoke to all lied, passed it on, leaving me hanging hope I'd forget. Infact I'm sure they stole my refund balance since how convient it says 0 balance now. Will never use Uber again and will let everyone know, no one answers the phone if your order is wrong your just out of luck. Get some manners from grubhub. 2 weeks of bull crap and lies. Disgusting! I drank the Bobo coconut, it was good actually.. The pho was cracked and spilled into my sushi. A total mess. Then weeks playing tag with your customer service for the 36.01 they offered me.
Too many issues signing up - had to email someone twice because no clear understanding of issue. Then after I got that fixed, ran into another problem - says use the app if you have problems completing information on this web page. Had the app before but it didn't function properly. Yuck.
0 out of 5. Some drivers dont read their dispatches, accept the run and will kick you out rather than complete the requested run. And this is all before I lose it. Then theres no way to get live, over the phone customer service.

I was totally ripped off by an incompetent driver who wasted 25 mins of my time so I missed a paid appointment and got charged 35$ for what should have been a 20 fare. After 4 attempts they finally credited me 4$... Are you kidding! They didn't even read my text complaint. Total losers... Take a real taxi.
$60 to go 9 miles from the airport to home. That's $6.66 a mile. What a coincidence that it equals 666. I hope this price gouging company goes bankrupt. We are going back to cabs and will never use Uber again.

I am new to Hyderabad and here to cover distance between office and home is near 6-7 kms. Uber charges that are shown while booking the cab/auto show high compared to other apps also when you book cab/auto then on purpose all auto/cab drivers takes very long route to reach destination and says it's the app fault that showed long route and end up charging you a lot than the actual fare you initially booked the cab/auto on. This happened twice with me within 2 weeks. Even after dropping compliant on app itself none improvement were made. Terrible services and cheats people for extra money. Utter disappointment!
Thanks so much to Uber, who cancelled my ride, charged me for it, admitted I was wrongfully charged, and yet still kept the money for themselves as an "Uber credit." Why not just stick your crooked hands in my wallet? Going into someone's bank account and giving yourself their money without reason is robbery. Cab companies can't do that. Now stop e-mailing me with your desperate pleas for me to reach out to Congress, because obviously thieves don't make for a safe ride home.
$129.00 to travel across town in Boise. About 10 miles. 1st time used. Saturday on a non Holiday weekend. Mobile app is crap on advising you of your total cost until you get home and your email presents the shocking damage. Took over 13 minutes to get picked up too. SCAM!
I have a temp medical condition that prevents me from driving, still have to do errands. Taxis in my area are unreliable & don't take cards. So I thought I'd try Uber. Downloaded their app, entered info they asked for; scheduled a car, waited past due time, got a cancellation notice for no funds (I gave them my credit card); tried to re-schedule, same issue. Each time the notice gave an address 2 numbers off of mine but close so I know no car came. There is no way to contact anyone by phone or online to help resolve the issue. Never again.
I just started driving for uber. After expenses, i making an average of $21.00 an hour.
By the time i get my game down pat, i'll double that an hour.
I haven't even got my referral cards out yet. All of the passengers are great so far.
It's a business like any other business. Keep your car clean, drive reasonable, help people with doors and packages... no problems!

WORST customer experience I've ever received. They overcharged my fare (due to an Engineering Glitch) is what the sales manager told me. Agreed it was their fault but "working on it" for over month now. Randomly closed my case and now are fighting me on the overcharge saying someone else could have taken a trip for the higher amount. Using Lyft everyday now.
All in all, my experience with the Uber drivers has been favorable. It's the app itself that I dislike. The algorithm racks up the rate within minutes so there is clearly price gauging going on. Then, you get hit with messages after your trip about tipping, and how drivers are talking, as if to say, if you don't tip you will not get a ride next time. Then, even after leaving a tip, the app asks if I want to leave another tip! What?
Only had 1 bad experience in Miami recently where the driver went to the wrong hotel (yes, true) and then was saying he was here. The app showed a white vehicle. He was in a black vehicle, different make. Like dude, you could have easily texted me this information!
