Unfortunately there is a zero star to rate this company. I was charged $110.00 for a "membership" that was never requested as I very rarely use this stupid service (it was used once since last year). After countless hours of messaging, as they do not dignify a mortal customer with a phone call in order to be as anonymous and detached as possible to keep on offering no customer service, I was informed that nice Uber would reimburse a whole amount of $30.00. What a scam! NEVER again will I deal with this "mafia" like so called company. Horrible!
Why are uberX cars with license plates from other states allowed to pick up in the city of Denver, Colorado. We have over 20,000 homeless and 35 percent of our jobs pay 8 or 9 dollars an hour. Take care of your own people before letting uninsured unknown outsiders pick up your woman and children, Colorado. What the hell? UberX needs to go!
Total ripoff. $165 for a four mile ride on Halloween after being quoted $53 on the app. Even the driver assured us it was a mistake and that the price would be adjusted when we contacted uber. We contacted them, they did nothing! Just some cut and pasted broad bull$#*! reply. I wish I could give them zero stars. What a scam. NEVER USE UBER EVER!
They never showed up for the taxis we booked, they cancelled them and then charged me each time £6 cancellation fee. My clients were 45 minutes late as a result of me having to keep rebooking taxis with them. As a result I lost a large contract, as well as them trying to continually take payments from my account until my bank stopped all payments. When I complained about this issue I have have had no resolution and they still owe me a significant amount of money. We will never use them ever again. Trust your local taxi firms instead to turn up and not rip you off.
These people don't even check to see who's credit card people are using. I was shocked to find additional charges on my card that I hadn't made. You can't get in touch with anyone other than through e-mail and they take forever to respond. They only communicate via e-mail because they don't want someone yelling at them over the phone for their fraudulent activities. I will never ever ever use their services and I don't think any one else should either. UBER get a phone so people can communicate with you.
I've already left a bad review on the app but since their a Trump supporting company and to stupid to know how to make their crap work I can't edit it. I'm a traumatic brain injury person who almost fell 3 times on my way home because they can't give you a proper estimate of their drivers and I had to walk home in below freezing temperatures without a jacket. Their app is just bloatware and they think just because they support the illegitimate president they are safe from public opinion! If you are reading this and have a android, do yourself a favor and get the lyft app!
I have been using Uber for years and found that I recently have had a monthly recurring fee of $9.99 for some sort of service that I have no knowledge of. Upon contacting Uber to ask for a refund, they told me that they would refund credit to my Uber account. This is literally robbing me of money that I now have only an option to use for their services. I was told they cannot show proof that I authorized this membership and that there is no other avenue to pursue my claim, outside of the chat window on the phone app specifically.
This must be illegal but I have no idea how to defend myself and recoup my money so I can only leave this review.
Scheduled set appt for 3:00 a.m. pickup for ride to airport one week in advance. Received email confirmation. Driver did not show and you can imagine my panic as we were connecting to an international flight with a service dog. Called Uber to complain and have received nothing but the run around. Info from my app regarding the trip has been requested but it disappeared after the driver didn't show. I don't have access to that do you? The email Uber sends to provide that info insists you write your response "above this line or they will not respond". I responded and with a copy of the confirmation and again received the same email with the same form letter. I wrote "above the line" and requested an email address to deal directly with customer service and again received the same form letter. Bye bye Uber it's Lyft for me from now on.
In Dallas for a visit with our son, who is a student at SMU. Great Uber ride to dinner, but return from dinner a nightmare. Had two Uber trips cancel and bill me for no show, while we were waiting and with no contact from driver. Will clearly contest no show charge - finally got home with an Uber direct "off the record" as she felt sorry for the problems we'd had. Am no longer the raving fan I was - and if it happens again will give uber up for Lyft or taxis
In the first couple of months of using Uber I've noticed that they continue to double dip on fares like I'm quoted $7,86 and then comes $10.25 for the same ride same drop off.
As there is no way to make contact with Uber via phone sending emails never gets responded to
I wouldn't trust Uber or Venmo ever again as this is no way to resolve issues with either company

We went on vacation to Washington dc... we took uber all over the city for 4 days we had a great experience. They arrived on time were overly polite and got us to our destination in a safe timely manner. Great experience and would use them again!
You're probably fine until you try to switch your user ID account - it is tied to your phone number forever, and Uber does not respond to online support requests, and there is no phone number to call. I tried three times to get them to resolve the problem, and they just ignored my email responses.
Uber will,and should continue to face law suits until they learn how to conduct business in a manner that is safe for riders and do a proper accessment of drivers. The drivers whoo are good, are treated like crap.

BEWARE. I ubered a friend for 10 dollars. In the next few days I got 8 fraudulent charges equaling over 280 dollars (7 on the same day!) and my bank only caught one for $80.26 that is not listed because they denied it. They store your card info so now I have to get a new debit card and attach all my recurring automatic deposits to the new card while waiting for the fraud department to decide what to do and reimburse me. What a pain! They are so shady. I will never use them again. Not cool.
Horrendous company. Used in Italy and they charged me 35 euro for a 3 Mile journey, when the app said between 11-17euro. When I contacted them they just fobbed me off telling me I needed to contact the local taxi company, not sure why I should when u booked it through uber app, took no responsibility and kept replying to my complaint with the exact same email every time and just ignored my comments. Will never use again
I have over 30 years on the road with no accidents. No speeding tickets or failure to stop at a red light or stop sign. I have a valid license but it's been suspended in the past for failure to pay child support and l have two violations for that on my record. And they turn me down to drive for them because of that. I'll never stop ripping them for this. It's wrong.
Okay, made a uber eats account... tried to order my first food... then for no $#*!ing reason my account was disabled. Now i try to reactivate it. But i think climbing mount $#*!ing everest is easier. No phone number, email not monitored... $#*!ing online contact form, filled it out a couple of dozen times, but no goddamn response... realy uber! Why the $#*! cant i just call you or something!
Customer support is trash. Tier one reps that dont know anything and try to fix problems like a one size fits all. So frustrsting. I submitted docs and proved I am eligible to drive and its been 2 weeks and no resolution. How many times do they need to "escalate"? Makes me not even want to drive for them at all
I cancelled an order not even one minute after making the order and they cancelled it and then proceeded to charge me for the order without even sending an option of just still sending the food! Complete scam there is no way that they make $50 worth of food in 1 minute!
Had to drive 26 miles for a delivery and once it was completed, the trip was removed from my earnings. Called support and they claim the trip does not exist. Only thing support said was call tomorrow. Please do not drive for Uber, please only use Doordarsh, grub hub, instacart or favor. Too many problems, steal your hard earn money amd terrible customer service

I drive for Uber. I also use the service. You will always come across some sort of trouble with them. Not reimbursing for rowdy messy passengers, over-priced surges and rides. I could go on to be honest and Im not even a negative guy. But it has gotten ridiculous. Lyft is not perfect but I am permanently for them and against Uber. Also, a buddy of mine was treated so unfairly by the Uber team when he had to pay a bunch of money to fix legitimate scratches on his caused by a drunk passenger and they said "this doesn't classify for something warranting reimbursement". And he was going through a very hard time financially at the time. So ridiculous. From a company that has so much and cannot give the rightful help to their hardworking driver that makes them so much money. It is absolutely inexcusable and I am down to send waves now until Uber feels it.

Uber has a scam they are being allowed to get away with. I ordered a ride that was 86 miles. Omar from Egypt showed up and before I could fasten my safety belt he said "get out"! I thought he was kidding but he wasn't. I needed to get to my mother as she was sick. Omar said "it's too far" "Uber didn't tell me it was so far" which is a lie as everyone knows. Then he claimed "I just got out from the hospital"
So they charged me for his tip $8.70 and for a cancellation fee also.
Omar discriminated against me because of the way I was dressed and would have given him a huge tip but he thought I was poor and refused to give me the ride he showed up to do.
Use anything but Uber they are not honest or a respectable company.

UBER charged my checking account debit card fraudulently. This caused a huge upset with the family and overdrew our checking account. We were harmed by this. You cannot reach UBER by phone or email. They are a fraudulent company. Their CEO needs to go back to IRAN along with his terrorist and fraudulent buddies. He doesn't belong in America! Do not do business with them. They will hack your credit card too!

Worst experience with the uber system built. Old payments were added to the new ride payments, whereas the old ride payment was paid using cash. Unnecessarily had to pay double for the new ride. Auto drivers unnecessarily took advantage of the situation and charged double. As a matter of fact no driver with ride for free and let the customer go without making payment. If so called "UBER" holds responsibility for this issue, pay back Rs.120 which is a double change I have paid to the Auto.
I"m new to Uber 2 weeks. It's bad. Bad app, bad gps, bad pay. $9.00 and hour before taxes, gas, insurance, fuel, ware and tare on your car. The fact that the owner is a multimillionaire and he pays drivers $2.18 to drive across the city is just another capitalist. You'll spend most of your time driving around the block looking for someone who is 1/4 mile away. Shame on uber. #Bernie
I do not recommend this business to anyone. This company is fraudulent and withdrew without my permission 455.39 from my checking account. If you have kids and bills don't use the uber app or service. I use my card online often and this has never happened to me before I rate this company a big fat zero.
