We recently went on a family vacation to celebrate my mother's 70th birthday. We traveled by rail, stopped in 5 different cities, and chose to use uber in these states. Chicago uber was the worst service I have ever received from any car service. At first, I thought the drivers were, among other things, rude, but it did not help that I was there the same weekend as Lollapalooza, which empowered the stink attitudes. Once when I said you parked too far, and I have luggage; can you back up, he proceeded to remove the baggage I had already placed in the back of his car and drive off while my back was turned, leaving my stuff on the road as I went to get other luggage. When I expressed how I was treated to other drivers, they explained the concert was in town and brought with it none native drivers into Chicago, and they do not know the place or care how they treat people. Uber, you have a long way to go to call yourself a company that cares about the customer service experience.

I am writing this to point out an issue as an Uber driver. I am absolutely frustrated with their customer service and the company.
For three months I have not been able to work because apparently my "vulnerable vector check has not been approved several times"
I called the support team on many occasions for the last 3 months in regards to this issue. When I called a different person picks up the phone and go over the same issue over and over.
The worst part is some of them do not know why my document is been rejected while others tell me my document is valid and I should reupload it again so they will write a report and escalate the issue to approve the document.
After ending the call I do not hear back from anyone again.if I do, it is a different representative that said they will escalate the issue again. The same thing keeps repeating even when I called.
When I ask to speak to a manager, they tell me they do not have a contact number to a manager or even the approval team that suppose to approve the document. On many occasions some of the Uber representative have hung up on me.
There is actually nothing wrong with my document which is an official document from the police of Ottawa. The uber ask to upload both back and front page when there is only 1 page that was sent to me electronically.
One of the supervisor said it could be an automated approval which has not been updated, that is why it is getting rejected.
I am extremely unhappy with the way I have been treated and this problem has still not been solved. I have been out of work for over 3 months and the service has been very bad. Drivers fault so it cost you extra. $20 dollars ride went up $30 because uber sent driver to wrong location. Scam then thy offer credit only for their mistake. Cabs are better option.

Don't ever lose anything in an Uber car while in Mexico. Uber does not adequately support customers who lose items In Mexico. I lost a pair of sunglasses and it took 4 days and innumerable texts, phone calls, etc just to reach the driver. I was finally able to get my glasses back just before boarding the fight to return home. NO THANKS TO UBER AT ALL! They do not even have a human in Mexico to call. Use at your own risk!

Attempting to be in touch with Uber is a maze of BS they hide behind a corporate sticker. They are slick. Today attempting to contact them is as always impossible. My hope is that another will step up and put them out of business. They attempted to get into my account three times today saying my ride was declined. I did not contact them today. I did my best to contact them to understand why they did this but have been met with generic script BS. Over them. Everyone spend your money elsewhere! We need to be aware of the support we give and stop corporations doing this to loyal customers who are over it. I would look forward to seeing them going out of business. I have 3 mystery trips appear on my bank account that i have paid for a never took. Trying to get uber to give back the money is like getting blood from a stone. I gave them dates, times, amounts and a screen shot of my bank statement. Still not good enough. Will never use again, criminals.

Uber charges a service fee to the end user/ consumer for fees that should be charged to the business. They will give you a BS explanation that they aren't charging you but after 10 back and forth emails the $8.09 service fee has ran it's course with me. They will not be giving be a refund. The food order was 52$ plus tax$7.75 delivery fee$1.99 and extra gas delivery fee 2.99 plus the $8.07 BS FEE. 83$ ish dollars charged in my card! BEWARE THEY WILL GET YOU

An error with the Uber app caused the multiplier not to show, ended up paying over £90 for what would normally be a £20 trip - rang up support who offered to remove the surge charge (but only offered to refund £30? Not the £70 difference) this was over 6 weeks ago. Still like no sign of any refund. Overall service is disgusting.
