Unfortunately there is a zero star to rate this company. I was charged $110.00 for a "membership" that was never requested as I very rarely use this stupid service (it was used once since last year). After countless hours of messaging, as they do not dignify a mortal customer with a phone call in order to be as anonymous and detached as possible to keep on offering no customer service, I was informed that nice Uber would reimburse a whole amount of $30.00. What a scam! NEVER again will I deal with this "mafia" like so called company. Horrible!
Uber has decreased the percentage of payment to its drivers, charges a high fee to the client and the driver receives a very low percentage of that fee, plus the mediocrity of the bonuses and its new app management system
Uber"s software is terrible and full of bugs. Sometime you can't delete a ride. It will e fill in your home for you. Sometimes in a different city. The estimated arrival time is a joke. It told be the car would be here in 7 minutes. When I checked 15 mins later it told me the car would be here in 20 more minutes. Keying in a destination, über will enter house numbers wrong. You can not book rides in advance. The drivers complain about uber as well. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. WITH UBER. They are a ripoff!
I hate following the prompts to receive help through the Uber app. I am often times routed to someone who doesn't even pick up the phone.
I've had the same tech issue for a year, I've never cared to write a review but I'm sooo aggravated because I actually like driving for Uber but I've had to drive for Lyft because of lack of access due to a tech glitch.
My app does not provide UberX as an option in my driving preferences after countless troubleshooting, false follow up promises, and hang ups in my face.
I believe this is because I created a duplicate account but an account specialist removed the duplicate and I still do not have access to UberX. Every time I call it's a complete run around. Please help, what else can I do I'm at a lost.
I've lost faith in this team, they are obviously not well trained, overwhelmed and lack the proper resources to actually assist. I guess I'm team Lyft.
Uber's ratings of its Partners is irrational. 4 out of 5 is 80 percent. The founders probably didn't score 100 percent in college. The overall rating of Uber is not a 5 star. Uber platform to send the Partners out without training is expectation is fatal. Why allow the companies ratings to fall immediately with new Partners. The riders are Mal Contemps and not happy with a good, friendly, and safe ride. All new Partners should be required to attend the four hour training. Uber changed its policy on evaluation mid stream and changed from the 500 ride minimum to a 50 ride minimum.
Once a Partner gets de-activated they are treated as if they are a criminal, second class citizen. Uber does not care about the negative publicity or terminating a Partner.

They have little to no customer service. They have no actual person that you can speak to. They make it almost impossible. I have tried to explain to them in many different ways that they have charged me double for every trip that I have taken, and charged me double the tip for every trip that I have taken, and the money has come out of my bank account, but they still keep telling me that I have an outstanding balance and That I must pay it again!
Uber through venmo Sucks!
Each time I pay Uber through Venmo I have to contact support asking to modify the charge. I've waited over 3 days to see if Uber will modify it itself but it looks like they won't do it unless you email asking for your "change".
It's very very annoying. Uber Venmo won't modify the initial amount unless you contact support.
Don't pay Uber through Venmo. Unless you want to over pay and loose money

I had booked an Uber for a 5.30AM pick up - received confirmation of the arranged pick up and time. This was a $95 fare. When I opened the app at 05.10AM no driver was assigned no message was sent to advise of alternate option or when a driver might be assigned 40 mins later a driver picks up my ride sends text to say be there in 25 mins - saw him drive towards our address 10 mins from arriving he shuts off his app. Next driver finally turns up 1 hour and 40 mins late causing us to miss our flights. Went to the Uber app registered my complaint - got a canned answer and on a second complaint offered a $10 credit

Yes a customer gives a driver a back comment to be evil, as that the driver was too slow when only was a the speed limit. What the driver has to do race in the street to make the passenger happy, and get a ticket for speeding. The driver got suspended for a week, and forced to take a class for $60. The drivers are making money for UBER to be treated like crap.
Liars, cheats and thieves. They treat employees so badly and constantly make mistakes with payments. Not surprisingly, the mistakes are ALWAYS in Uber's favor. Did I mention they are liars, cheats and thieves.
I am an IT employees working in Infopark cochin. Last night i booked a cab. Its just a distance from Infopark to Kakkanadu(seaport airport road) near civil station. The bus charge is the minimum fare which is 7 rupees. That much short distance. When i arrived at my stop, i was shocked by seeing the fare as 366 rupees. Fare + 250 rupees because of surge period. What the hell is this. I depended on Uber for each and every journey as i carrying. But i stopped it by yesterdays issue. Very very very worst experience and feedback on Uber. I hate it now.

I go into store, leave my phone in car & uber driver in England has called my cell 4x, looking for me! No customer service number to call, left emails with everyone & tried to purge my account of all my info. UBER. Never!
Drivers alway are complaining about how the job sucks... i really don't care to hear about your problem. They tell you thier sad story so you will tip them i guess... i don't need a guilt trip with my ride. Get a different job if ypu don't like the one you have... and clean your car once in a while.
I made a Uber reservation 4/11/23, and was charged $29.25 for a 2.7 miles ride. I made the same reservation 6/06/23, for the same 2.7 miles ride, and was charged $37.00. Of course, I kept Uber's receipts.
Uber do not offer a customer service to attend concerns that are not in their software menu.

Richard took me to waffle house on 12/6/22 my phone fell out Richard later found it. I called Richard kept it.
I found other charges coming out of my bank account after Richard found my phone, he said he would be sure to return it to me he said I promise their customer support has gotten nowhere with Richard and he still has my phone. Richard the Uber driver committed fraud through my phone with my bank account. Customer service can't reach Richard he refuses to answer his phone through customer service for Uber.
Don't work for Uber they don't pay. Don't work for Uber. They don't pay their drivers. I just did three deliveries and they did not pay me for the very last one. And it brought me a half an hour out of my zone.
I am an Uber driver and lightly Uber is keeping more of the fare than they are paying the driver. This is ridiculous. We use our vehicles are gas, our maintenance on our vehicles, and we pay taxes on the money, and they wanna be greedy and keep more than they pay the driver.
We made a reservation 4 days prior for our departure for the airport for 5am. Received confirmation the night before and then at 4:30am on departure day they sent the message that they're looking for a driver. Needless to say no driver responded and we were left stranded to miss our flight. They boast about being more reliable than others but we have never had any thing this terrible happen in our lives. Not sure why they don't secure a driver when we make the reservation. Not sure why the my lie to you the whole time that your reservation is on track and then at 5:05am they cancel the reservation. Unbelievable!
Please everybody check your account your credit card because now they have new ways to still you money, you need a ride you should know how much you have to pay but now they show the amount and the end of the day you check a credit card there is extras and extras then you call for help nobody is available they trust for you to one place to another and you get stress and no help so make sure you be aware thank you.
I would give zero stars if I could. My friend from Canada bought me a gift card, I asked UBER customer service how to use it and they assured me that if it didn't apply to my order that my card would be refunded.
Paid their overpriced everything for one meal and now I'm out $40+ American dollars and they say that since my Uber gift card was purchased with Canadian dollars my friend is now out of $100 Canadian dollars.
I now have a gift card I can't even use and they refuse to respond to me about how I can send my friend back the gift card so he can at least use it.

I had a very unsatisfactory experience attempting to connect with an uberX driver in downtown Boston yesterday. Frustrated and mad, I called the driver and cancelled. A cancellation fee showed up. I explained my complaint about the fee in writing on line to Uber and received an astonishingly prompt Uber response to my satisfaction. I appreciate the response and expect to remain a frequent user.
I just started working for Uber and on my 2nd job I didn't get paid for the trip. I tried several times to call for help and never got a real person to help or a way to speak to a live person. There are very few trips in this area so not a good way to make money.
In suburban Tampa, we requested a car to Tampa International Airport. The driver, Lillie, was totally rude and incompetent. The vehicle had her own personal luggage in the back, so there was no room for ours. Her comment, in barely understandable English, was that we should have said the ride was to the airport. Duh. Apparently she did not know that Tampa International Airport is an actual airport. She slammed the door and yelled that we would have to call another Uber. If you need an Uber in Tampa, be sure you don't get Lillie.
Recently, my Uber account was hacked. Suddenly I was driving all over Nigeria (I live in Minnesota). When I tried to address the hack, I discovered 1. Uber has no phone-based customer service, 2. Uber's email customer service is basically useless.
After visiting the Uber office nearest to me, I was given a promise that the charges would be reversed and my account would be cancelled. After 3 days, the charges were reversed, but Uber refused to cancel my account. Now, more charges are being accrued and Uber customer service is again refusing to respond personally to my complaints. Guess I will be making another trip (this will be the 3rd) to the home office closest to me.
Uber does not let you cancel your account- you must go through their customer service representatives. And when you do, they refuse to do it. I will advise every person I know to cancel their account and switch to a different ride service.
