Unfortunately there is a zero star to rate this company. I was charged $110.00 for a "membership" that was never requested as I very rarely use this stupid service (it was used once since last year). After countless hours of messaging, as they do not dignify a mortal customer with a phone call in order to be as anonymous and detached as possible to keep on offering no customer service, I was informed that nice Uber would reimburse a whole amount of $30.00. What a scam! NEVER again will I deal with this "mafia" like so called company. Horrible!

The worse company in the world to get a ride from. Told us it would take longer to get a ride home, fine. They had no service for a ride home cost a ton of money to get home. Will never use this service again. Highly recommend to not use this service.

How come when you order an uber, they can cancel on you how many times they want, and then you wait for another, and then they cancel too... and wait and wait... And if you want to cancel the ride (because you are already late and they are sh**) you can not cancel without a fee! Hacks! Thieves! Avoid as much as possible!

I am a regular uber customer and happy with the rates and services, but today bcoz of some stupid drivers I missed my flight. The 1st one I booked says hez around 25 to 30 min distance to me where as I can see him on the map next Street. I cancelled and booked another one he says he doesn't wanna go to the airport as it's far off. Now I dun think it's my problem if ur running a cab service u make sure u inform ur customer that we can deny u at any point of time so that u don't expect that much. But in this whole this I missed my flight and my friends birthday

I opened Uber about a month ago and it asked for 2 step authentication, which I didn't set up. I couldn't open Uber because of it. I emailed Uber, tried calling their custom support deleted and reinstalled and got nowhere. I since deleted Uber and now use LYFT. I see online this has happened to many and no one has tried to help. I never seen anything like customer service doesn't exist at Uber. I've deleted the app

So let me tell you about Uber eats. I am a delivery driver and Uber eats they like to put stuff on peoples accounts saying we did something and didn't and then when you call them they try to connect you to all these different people and then give you 10 different stories. Then they tell you that you have several undelivered deliveries I have delivered 1177 orders since I started Ubers eats and they say half my orders were not delivered that's a lie because we have to take pictures or get PIN numbers so someone who works for Uber is messing with peoples accounts and then when you talk to a supervisor they tell you that they are going to do something and they don't do it. So Uber eats is bull$#*! period

I scheduled an Uber pick up for 3 am in north Scottsdale Az for a 5:15 am plane. Uber did nothing to assure there would be a driver available at that hour. Uber simply began searching for a driver at 3 am. As a result I was forced to wake my son to take me to the airport. This is not a scheduled car service. It is unreliable. I will make other arrangements in the future. Thedaler

My bank had take the money just for looking for a ride. Later said ride is unavailable, then if try again is charge again. They should charge if is ride is confirmed, no for looking for. Very irritating!

I was going in to work in the rain my normal fee would have been 23 dollars but it was raining that day the price went up even if it wasn't raining at the time going in to work all in all my ride came out to 54 dollars. Now this is highway robbery I canceled uber like a bad tv show, maybe a few more years instead of robbing your customers give them a fair deal. They make enough money why do they have the need to take more than what they need?

I Took an uber from one location to another I was totally overcharged. When I got out of the uberwhen I realized I forgot my wallet. When we called The driver he dropped it off with $240 missing out of it. When I called to complain to uber they basically completely ignored me and said it was his word against mine. We spoke with the Uber driver in detail and asked him to return the $240 and he basically said no. We have made a police report and are following up and hopefully will get some results. A lesson learned take a taxi instead of an Uber.

It's pretty sad that the customer service department for Uber allows the customers to represent their company their company does not backup the drivers and anytime that a customer reports to Uber that the driver got into an accident the driver smoking or under the substance or that something doesn't work in their vehicle Uber allows the customer to make that option and then the driver is done. Piss poor is your all me. If it wasn't for the drivers driving the customers were they need to go. Uber would not exist. And I'm only leaving a one star because I cannot leave a 0 star.

The idea of the company is great-- but the execution is terrible. The "surcharges" are the most ridiculous charges I have ever seen. I have paid $25 for a gross taxi ride, but that surely beats a $118 uber ride, for the same mileage, time, etc. No amount of snacks, water, or nice vehicles can ever make up for the ridiculous charges. I have had 4+ terrible experiences with both myself or friends with insane upcharges & shady "end trips". While I have also had good trips (at 4 pm on a Monday, or 9 pm on a Friday), the absolute exorbitant fees will surely keep me away!

I have paid for over 50 Uber taxis and probably sat in more than 200 from friends and family. A consistent user/customer. But after wanting a refund for a really dirty and muddy car, I was told me asking for a refund was atypical because I had asked for a refund before. They suggested I'm scamming and lying. Then when I said I will delete my account and never work with them again - they threatened me with deactivating my account. I have now requested the deletion of my account and I will be recommending for family and friends to delete it also. Wow. Losing a customer over £4.51. Can you imagine...

There is an uber driver here in St. Pete that is a drug user and dealer; he offered me marijuana and or pills. He was high, his eyes were glassy and glazed-over he and his car had the stench of marijuana. He also offered rides off the app and is a go between for an escort. Mark gukpm

Overcharged if you agree on a price they have no right taking more this could cause overdraft fees on your bank account we have to provide our debt card to this bussiness and its not a ticket to use like that and no way to complain to them they need to fix this asap

I have driven for this company for a year and have nothing but pay problems! First they lockup your express pay claiming fraud and then direct deposits are notorious for being 4 or so days late! Do not drive for or use Uber! Your driver is being used and not reimbursed for your trip!

My wife had a foot operation and we used Uber in Miami against my wish, but the drivers had no training ie waiting for the passenger to get downstairs from their flat.
We were over charged and Uber promised but we never got the refunds.
The best option is to get a licensed cab where ever you may live, if you go to London ever, Uber cars are more expensive than black cabs in the rush hours and they don't know, even with GARMIN where they are going. PS; Uber is valued in Billions on the stock market, because they get 15% of the cost of the ride worldwide everyday.

Uber drivers need to retake their driving test because they can't can't drive. You guys get confused with directions too much. Uberpool rips off customers to make the most bang for there buck. I was literally late for work cuz we had to pick up some bozo in the opposite direction. And UberEats some B!@#$ ate my apple pie I ordered. Im not gonna go into details about that tho! Boycott Uber

I used Über a few months ago when I needed a ride after I turned in my lease. My leasing agent made arrangements for an Über driver to return me to my home. I had no idea that Uber drivers used their own personal vehicles to transport their customers. When the Über driver showed up he was on time. However his car was another story. It was an old well worn Ford Fusion that reeked from those cheap car interior deodorizers. The car was running poorly and was making a terrible whine at freeway speeds. I was gritting my teeth the entire ten mile ride wondering if this old clunker was going to detonate at any second. Also, I didn't appreciate having to listen to a forty minutes of reggae music thumping away either. In the past I have used Yellow Cab which has always been a favorable experience. Needless to say I would never, ever set foot into another Über vehicle.

While visiting Nashville for a concert on August 25th, I scheduled an Uber ride at the quoted rate (iPhone app) of $21. Xx. We traveled from 5th avenue, not far from Bridgestone Arena to the Gaylord Hotel. Upon arrival, I tipped the driver in cash, and we exited the vehicle. A few seconds later, I received a notification that I had been charged $79.72! Uber informed me that there was a "surge charge" (which I had never heard of) and that it is applicable, essentially when there are very few drivers available, relative to the number of riders needing rides. Supposedly, the rider is notified of the surge charge before accepting or rejecting the ride, but I wasn't. I was simply told "$21. Xx", then charged $79.72.

I used Uber from my home to a theater. The driver was More than courteous and the fare was $14. After the theater I ordered a ride from Uber for the return. Again the driver was courteous, but the fare that showed up on the receipt was $50. Since Uber has no way of contacting a human, I think I have been scammed! The email response was that there was no mistake and I can not get any adjustment

I requested an uber from my home 10 minutes from DTW on Saturday July 16 at 6:45am. 11 minute eta. 8 minutes into it, I had my son check on it
THE TRIP was cancelled. OMG what a predicament I had. Ended up driving myself. Cannot trust to do this again.

When I started driving UBER, on the surface it looked good. It became very obvious, very faster than obvious, what UBER is really about, NOT: "Delivering Quality Rides"!

UBER is to deliver cheap, fast transportation, on the costs of its drivers, by allowing every dumb*** to rate the professionalism of Drivers. And what is that?

Putting up with a rider's:
- dumb comments
- insults
- arrogance
- unfair demands
- demand to break traffic rules
- impatience
And then still feed the rider with free sweets, drinks and accept to receive a low rating because you didn't look like the rider would have wished you look like, etc.,

Very professional, UBER. Now go to hell.

UBER will end up with the low of low. But that wouldn't place a scratch mark on UBER's executives. By then they will have made their millions and thus, who cares?

I left my phone in an Uber on January 28,2023. I didn't order the ride. They won't contact the driver who has my phone because the account holder has to do it through their app. The account holder won't do it. We had a falling out and now refuses to help. Sabotaged by that Uber STILL refuses to help. Now I'm without my government issued phone. I got absolutely NO assistance through customer service. It's as though they intentionally refused and now not answering ANY of my requests! UBER YOU SUCK! DISGRACEFUL!

We recently ordered a ride from Marco to drive us from Alcabideche to Sintra which is like 5-10 miles straight highway driving. I accepted the $9.00 quote and tipped him afterwards. My email receipt showed a whole different picture. It showed our root to the hotel, but then he kept going, presumably home and the map looked like a bowl of spaghetti. He charged us $67.00USD. The worst part of it is when I filed a claim against it with Uber, they disconnected my card from the account and still refuse to pay me back the difference. They stuck me with some "ECHO" service which i think is 3rd party that acts like a wall between Uber and the customer. I have gone back and forth with this Echo email and still haven't been able to resolve the issue. It's sad because when we Uber'd out to the village, that driver was very kind and friendly. Such a stark difference. Marco showed 4.6 stars. Open to suggestions beyond moving over to Lyft.

I closed my uber eats account well over three months ago and am still getting charged $9.99 a month, i have closed my uber account now as well... Contacted my bank to stop payment and file a claim, hopefully Wells Fargo can find a way to get ahold of uber on the phone, as I have been unable to.
