Unfortunately there is a zero star to rate this company. I was charged $110.00 for a "membership" that was never requested as I very rarely use this stupid service (it was used once since last year). After countless hours of messaging, as they do not dignify a mortal customer with a phone call in order to be as anonymous and detached as possible to keep on offering no customer service, I was informed that nice Uber would reimburse a whole amount of $30.00. What a scam! NEVER again will I deal with this "mafia" like so called company. Horrible!

I am frustrated. This is the first time using Uber. I thought that I could arrange a ride for a few hours from now. As soon as I realized that I can not and tried to cancel the request, the driver called me. I explained the mistake to him. Since I took his call it delayed me from canceling the Uber request by about 30 seconds. I was charged $5. Because I chose what seemed like the most polite option of talking to the driver instead of completing the cancellation. $5 for 30 seconds?

We had a flight at SFO and uber never arrived at the time we ask to be picked up. They sent me three different messages they said that they would be 15 minutes then 35 minutes then 45 minutes. We cansal and drove ourselves and miss our flight. I sent sent my complain and they said that the driver was on time. I don't know why they could not see the message that the driver sent and at what time I needed to be picked up. Never gain I will use there service. I will never recommend them.

Emailed them about an issue with Uber Pool (Driver name Tejan in Mitsubishi Lancer in DC metro area on Saturday night at 8:14pm) and was promised internal investigation but they didn't contact me after that, shared a trip with another 3 people instead of 2, all drunk, one of them with a drink in his hand. I am a girl and was not willing to make an issue and was hoping the driver will do something but he didn't open his mouth to stop the F Words coming from the mouth of the men instead he opened the window and let us freeze in the cold because of alcohol smell. Inappropriate touching due to us crammed in the back, their girlfriend was in between but the guy with a drink kept his arms around her reaching to my shoulder. Uber customer service is a joke.

I booked Uber Go from T2, IGI, New Delhi. Before booking was asked to pay via Paytm which I did. When I called the Driver he was at T3 & asked us to come there with lugguage. I said we booked cab from T2. He said its server error come to T3, I said I cant come with luggage.

Call was disconnected & driver cancelled the trip.

I booked Ola & reached the destination. Next day I raised a complaint via Uber twitter but no action was taken. After waiting for a day I raised a complaint using Uber app auto msg was sent after a day.

After couple of days another msg i received: http://tinyurl.com/yq5g4lm3

I mean, i want my money which I paid you & your driver cancelled the trip. You are wasting my time without taking required action.

I will never understand why the drivers of the self driving UBER CAR in Tempe Arizona. Are not drugged tested, I know a few that would test positive. How could UBER put the risk of peoples, lives at risk. Also open their self up for a huge lawsuit.

Uber does not keep record of the destination address you put. The driver can put whatever destination address she/he wants and you will not get your money back if you get charged your coriders' fare. I was told they did not have a record of the the destination address I actually put.

This has happen twice now.
I put in a for a ride and the original driver is nearby then cancels or makes a u turn.
The last time I had a driver within 8 mins away and he cancels. I waited 40 mins for the 3rd driver. Uber is not that dependable.

04-12-2019 Warning! Do not do any type of buisness with uber! They have become pure evil! They no longer have customer service support. You can not reach anyone by phone and they email support team is paid by how may tickets they answer not how many problems they solve. So you get uncaring people playing games and giving you fake responses that do not help you over and over again. I have pleaded with these people and told them they placed the wrong account to my phone number and email so therefore I can not log on to see my pay tax forms or drive, they keep sending a short response telling me to check my app? Sooo I am done they messed up my account and have been giving my false help for over a week... so please beware beause if something should happen and you need them... you get people in another country playing games with your life! BEWARE UBER IS EVIL

I referred a friend to Uber and got a free ride. I made a ride and my free ride didn't work. When I asked Uber to reimburse me they said they'd block my account for some violation they couldn't explain. I asked questions and tried to clarify the case, and they sent me 5 (!) absolutely similar emails with NO answer to any of my questions. So this is how Uber support works and this is what you get for referring friends.

An uber driver passed me in a residential area and then slammed on his brakes right in front of me. He then sat there for a few minutes trying to get me to do something. What a jerk. I guess I wasn't driving to his liking. I tried to report his dangerous driving by calling Uber. I got passed around to 4 different people and was going to get passed along to another person. I just got sick of it and hung up. Another strike against Uber.

Products used:
I try not to use Uber anywhere. Sometimes I have to. Generally, the drivers are just trying to make a living and are pretty nice.

I used UBER in 2017 & haven't used it since. I received a credit card statement with 6 unauthorized UBER charges. There is NO WAY to contact Uber by phone to find out who & where the card was charged or to stop subsequent charges. They have conveniently made it extremely difficult to talk to customer service (probably because they have none) & have made it easy for someone to use UBER & charge your account. Do not use UBER! No wonder they are losing their shirt.

Tip for consumers:
Don't give Uber any charge card info. You will not be able to discuss any problem since they do not have customer service.

None but I was charged for someone else using my credit card numerous times in the past week.

I found this morning that I was charged almost $40 for a ride I did not take. At 10PM last night I was sleeping. I have been told to go through Support email to get this resolved but I have not been replied and I have now been disabled from the system and to get back on I have to go through Support which is exactly the email I have not been replied from. FU@&! These people. I spend at least $200/mth with these fools and have a 5 Star rating. Hello Lyft!

How about I took uber about 6x and got a vehicle and uber continue to charge my credit cards that was on file. They have no real contact information so I am filing a claim against them for my money I dont care if it only 16 dollars... I believe in fairness and honesty... so I am filing... they arent helping the customer but instead cheating the customer... and yet would have so questions on their site stating pick one you were drop off at the wrong location or your driver was lost no and no you took my money in my account when I didnt use you at all. Thanks and you have a good day@#$%^%$

The cost of registering your car for uber is a bit high and I think that cost should be removed. I did a little enquiry in ghana about the registration and I think that should be removed since its not the uber company that is giving out the cars to people to work for them. The first week I drove for Uber I said 'Uber is fantastic'.

The fourth week, 'it is not bad'.

The sixth, 'something is not right'.

The seventh, 'these guys are crooks and not worth doing this $hit'.

Finally on the eighth I call it quit.

Uber customer will get fantastic service with nice clean car. Of course they are impressed and leave utmost positive reviews. But do not generalize Uber's image with over enthusiastic service provided by continously supplied victims as newbies from the hungry pool of population.

Uber is a new form of scam. Like Maddof, Enron, etc.
I am glad I got out quick.

DO NOT TAKE UBER! I was charge $12 for Nothing! For drivers canceling my trip. Incompetent drivers unable to find an address. They charge me for this. Not only was I late for my appointment but I got charged for a non-service! Never will I take uber ever again! Stupid men unable to find an address and I get charged $6 for each. Are these people for real? Never ever ever!

Uber charged me twice for a trip. They said the first was an authorization hold of 37.74. Then after the trip charged me 49.26 for a vehicle upcharge. Whatever the hell that means. I disputed the charges and was told the 37.74 was voided immediately after the trip. The trip was on Friday. My bank transactions clearly shows I was charged. Now they saying it's my bank taking it's time to refund the money but my bank tells me if they voided the charge immediately after the trip I wouldn't be seeing it on my statement as a charge. This company is a rip off! Screw you Uber!

Don't use this app. Use LYFT!!!

I ordered food to be delivered and delivery person told me the restaurant was out of entree I ordered. So I canceled the order because restaurant did not have the food I wanted. Still charged for service, and never got food. Terrible customer service.

I always had a good drive with the uber. But today morning I have my exam from 9. I call the uber driver before 35 mint so that I can reach early. And he revived my call and told me he will reach within 5mint I waited for him for 20 mint and the driver didnot turned up and I literally missed my exam. Please select some professional driver or else it will be a great loss for the Uber company. (*******824) this driver should need to learn a lesson.

Out of 7 attempts to get an uber ride, 5 were 'cancelled' by the driver, (that briefly appeared in the app) in order to raise the price. I was stuck at Luton airport London due to 2 hour late flight and shoddy London train service, so I decided to get an Uber. BIG MISTAKE. Originally 88pounds, uber app accepted my ride request, took a while to finalize drive details, then after several minutes, it cancelled my ride. Tried again, same thing, tried again, but the price had gone up to 118pounds. Now I know there is monkey business going on, ripping me off. Ended up with a REAL taxi for 101pounds. Similar thing happened 2 weeks before trying to get a ride to the Albert Hall. Very shady business model.

The Uber App is terrible and confusing. I've taken an Uber to an exact address of a medical building. When I request a ride for the return trip, the Uber app will not show the exact address, just the businesses in the area, e.g., gas station, flower shop, etc. This happens repeatedly. Invariably the driver cannot find the exact pickup spot and I've waited and waited and gotten charged for a no-show trip when the driver is the no-show. Trying to maneuver this confusing App to reverse the charge for the no-show driver is another Uber nightmare.

On Saturday October 2nd I tried to reserve a car for the evening, impossible. I tried several times.
I then tried to get a ride the moment I needed it: 26,51 euro from Delft to Rotterdam, nobody took the ride.
I refreshed and the lowest price went up to 55 euro, I refreshed and the lowest price went up to 94 euro.
I used Uber in Paris and there it works quite well, here it is utterly useless. I was prepared for this to happen and arranged a back up plan. But my evening would have been destroyed by Uber if I only depended on this crap service.

My husband was at a concert at the NRG stadium in Houston on 8/5/16 at concert end during the "surg" time couldn't get his app to work. He called me when I was sleeping, sick, and groggy and saw the 8.2 percent surge charge but thought like a tip 15 percent of the total like a tip amount. I was so upset when I saw 341.00 for the total this am! This is wrong and law suit worthy. They need to make it very clear for the tired and apparently not bright to make a person realize that they will be stolen from a ludicrous amount. I am going to file a complaint with the better business bureau and refuse to ever use them again. And they don't make it easy at all to complain on there site. Please don't use them try lift or others even a taxi would have been less expensive!

You can't pay cash on Uber, so you can't control how much they put on your card. A driverthat Uber seems to support is to not show your trip as ended. So. The driver picked up my girlfriend and dropped her at my house, both addresses were input in the App, but she got no receipt that day as the trip according to Uber wasn't ended until over 20 hours and 50 miles. I assume the driver defrauded us, or there was a glitch in their software, but after days of correspondence and sending a copy of the receipt, I still get the run-around. I fought for Uber to be allowed here in Miami as the cabs were horrible. Now the cabs are better, and I can avoid being scammed using Uber!

Worst company ever i drove uber for more than 3.5 years with a rating of 9.6 rating but they blocked my account coz the costumer complained I wasn't wearing a mask even tho i was and now they wont listen to me i am jobless now #BoycottUber
