The overall experience is prime as a driver. The GPS could be better. I want to change from bicycle to scooter class due to prop 22, but won't allow me too. Absolutely worst food delivery service out there. Poorest customer service ever. Issues never get resolved. Tried via email, chat and phone! Nearly $50 on food that sat on a shelve in the restaurant ready for over two hours. This food is no longer safe to eat! Three different delivery people and it still took over two hours. Complaining was ZERO help and they refused to refund. Said I'd hear back from an escalation department. Never did! Money wasted. Will never use them again! Crooked company.
I have been using UberEats since I work from home and take care of my bed ridden mother. Recently I tried to order a meal. Unfortunately, I did not realize that the last address that I had put into the app had been changed on me by the system. As soon as I saw the address, I tried to cancel the order (which was in the the timeframe t to do so). Needless to say, the app didn't work and therefore the cancellation did not go through. I therefore tried the help function. For my trouble, help came in the form of charging me 30 plus dollars for a meal I did not receive. I then tried to contact help in the chat. There was no help there either.
Dont' buy with UberEats. Ordering is sometimes a necessity for me, but I don't have money to waste on apps that don't work and help that is not help at all. I also am still hungry. Could they have not asked the restaurant to still prepare my food? I told them as much and offered to find some way for my food to get to me. The answer was of course no.
NO HELP and NO FOOD!
I don't know about you, but $30 + is a lot to pay for receiving Air pie.

That's it. My food was cold and delivered to one of my neighbors. I have complained before and made sure that I had easy to comprehend instructions to my home. I am paying way too much for such stupid mistakes and bad service. I am removing their app and going to a delivery company that appreciates my business.

I ordered a steak and applied a 40 percent discount that showed in UberEATS app. But when they charged my card it was for the full amount no discount. So I cancelled the order 1 minute later and they say they started the food so no refund except for the tip. I paid the full price for nothing. I did not approve the full price, so their website is a total bait and switch. Criminal!

If you enjoy being hungry and getting the wrong order as well as getting it cold and paying 2x as much for an item. Then sprinkle it with miscellaneous extra charges than this is the site for you. Really they are a group of bullies. Take advantage of your customers. You guys are literally one of the worst businesses I have ever dealt with. If I could give negative stars I would.

Our food was left on the first step. We did not know for 30 mins. Zero communication. I asked for door mtg del. Last time we did bus w u. U left the food on the back porch in the rain. We picked it up and it fell out of the bag all over the patio. There is never a text that food is arrived. I want my money back and you can be assured we will not make the same mistake.

Uber Rats is good until something is moot good. Received bloody, foul smelling food delivered to me by Uber Eats.
Turns out Uber Eats is responsible for the full refund but they don't tell you that. I contacted them n restaurant right away. Uber refunded me $13 out of $44.22.
Restaurant said they'd contact me re: a refund fior the remainder $31.23, didn't hear anything for 48 hrs. I was then told Uber Eats was responsible for full refund.
Contacted Uber Eats again and was told I'm too late now cause it's been 48hrs., even though I had contacted them immediately initially.
Sounds like a scam- lead ppl to believe that they did their part ( partial refund), you go after restaurant for the remainder only to find out Uber Eats was to provide the full refund initially. So by the time you get back to them, it's too late for your refund.

I just got money stolen from me by Uber eats. I tried to order food for a friend as as gift. The app used a different rib restaurant for the order. I saw it immediately and canceled the order, within a minute. Their chat help said too bad. Charged my credit card 34$+. I finally extracted my card and deleted the App. Unbelievable service. I'm thinking report to state attorney general. Horrible.

This place is a total scam, they make their money by taking your order, leaving it sit at the restaurant for over an hour while trying to find a driver, then charging you when you cancel. A TOTAL SCAM!

Waited 2 hours for an order that never arrived, only to be told "oh don't worry, won't charge you for food you never got."

The only positive review I can give is to the customer service rep who was able to cancel my order that was 2 hours late and couldn't get a driver for. While Uber Eats loves to spam my email with rewards and deals, none of them are applicable to any of the restaurants within a 40 mile radius of my home. So I'm really not getting a good deal. Also, there are barely any uber eats drivers which is why my order was 2+ hours late. No one was accepting the pick up. I ordered with Doordash five minutes after my Uber Eats order was cancelled and a driver immediately accepted it. I got it in under 30 minutes, no complaints. And it was even cheaper than UberEats. Same restaurant, same order. Switch to Doordash.

On occassion at home, we ordered the food via Uber App and waited. I paid via paypal 75€. This is the mistake I did. The order status changed to delivered suddenly and food was not delivered to us. there was no ring on the door and no phone call was received. We raised the same via Help section and they claimed that it has been delivered and if not then driver tried to contact you but it was not approachable and money cannot be refunded. On asking at the restaurant, they said it is happening with many customers.
There is customer contact number, there is no email ID, ther is nothing. The chat bot is there to answer standard questions and replies.
It is a pure scam and fraud.
I will never order via this app. Do not pay in advance before the food is delivered.

I ordered on 8/3/23. Never received my order because it was cancelled by delivery driver. I contacted company and chatted with them advising order cancelled and asked why? They could not provide an answer. As I am talking to them 2 more charges get posted to my c.c. I advise of new charges and they once again look into. They end up crediting my 2 charges back but say the 3rd one is a hold and will drop off. I locked my card. I get emails saying they are trying to put through more charges of $3.36. So today, the charge went through on my new c.c which I have not received yet. I contacted cc company, And filed more disputes! Highly recommend NOT using this company. Fraudulent charges!

It took an hour and a half to get my food! There is absolutely no recourse for your inconvenience and neither can you cancel the order. According to the app my order was picked up 15 minutes after my purchase so although I decided to cancel my order, after the first hour, the option to cancel is not available. Then the food is delivered cold. So I'm being forced to take food that isn't even ready to be served. Absolutely the worst! DISGUSTING

I have a fraudulent purchase from someone in NC, where I've never been and upon trying to dispute it with Uber they tell me it the purchase was legitimate when I am not even in that state and I am at work. I can prove I was working. Instead of hearing my concerns they cut the chat and don't want to help me.
I think everyone needs to boycot Uber all together. I now use Doordash and have such a better experience with them. Not only are they rude, they don't want to take ownership of any issue that happens with their company or apps. I'm so sorry for the people that work Delivering for them. They need to leave there and work for Doordash or Lyft. Everyone I know has an issue with this company.

This company steals your money!. I never received my order and I was told I would be given a credit which I never did. I repeated the situation several times to customer service but they kept dropping our text convo over and over and over. They just lost a very good customer over the smallest order I have ever placed. I just can't believe they can get away with stealing people's money. They are not BBB registered…of course their not…lol. BBB's opinion of the company is an "F" rating. They are most certainly right about that. I just deleted their app. I will be taking a trip to Italy with the money I will save not using them. Ridiculous fees and wait time. Food is always cold now bc they drive around with your food to make other deliveries. The worst service ever!

Even if you send proof of ever bad order they refuse to refund you after so many. No matter if you show that your order is wrong. They will refuse and tell you to write a review about the restaurant. UberEats is customer support doesn't give you any support. Worst service.

Driver left my order of 33.00 in a different address, I called support to report the incident and the phone giving number was not working. I was able to email support, but they were NOT too helpful! They argued that the driver tried to contact me, but I never received a call. I didn't get my order nor my money back! The worse experience ever!

I ordered from a restaurant and after 3 drivers went and did not pick up my order I called uber eats the restaurant was closed the whole time but they did not want to refund my money. They were extremely rude to me hung up on me I will never order from them again. I asked to be transferred to a manager and they said there were not any managers to talk to. Worst experience ever!
