The overall experience is prime as a driver. The GPS could be better. I want to change from bicycle to scooter class due to prop 22, but won't allow me too. Absolutely worst food delivery service out there. Poorest customer service ever. Issues never get resolved. Tried via email, chat and phone! Nearly $50 on food that sat on a shelve in the restaurant ready for over two hours. This food is no longer safe to eat! Three different delivery people and it still took over two hours. Complaining was ZERO help and they refused to refund. Said I'd hear back from an escalation department. Never did! Money wasted. Will never use them again! Crooked company.
I first ordered Uber eats and the driver delivered my order to the wrong address so I went to go grab it. Before then I called customer service and I ask them about my delivery driver and where he actually sent my order because it wasn't at the correct address. So I asked them to refund me for $#*! sake and they said they'll only refund me $12 when really, my order PLUS TAXES & FEES was up to $17 instead. Later on after the evening was over, Uber eats sorry, "the uber delivery driver, named Frederick", I feel like stole $5 from my card and I don't ever remember giving a $5 tip to him and definitely after that $#*! he pulled. I gad 30 something dollars in my account and then it wad $28 dollars. I saw on the recent history list that UBER EATS STOLE $5 FROM ME! I cussed them out practically for loosing, sorry again, "stealing" off me without giving me a heads up. Later on the next day I yelled at them for all of it and shorting on the refund and a random tip I for sure wasn't trying to give away next saying i had only hour to take the tip back after it was docked off my card until they cant get it because any later then 1 hour its a GONE. They still owe me a few more dollars from the 17 and $5 back! WAIST OF TIME AND MONEY! UBER EATS YOU ARE THE UGLY FACE OF A JOKE!

PLEASE DO NOT USE UBER EAT IN YOUR LIFE! Lesson Learned. I noticed the driver delivered my order to the wrong house after he uploaded the photo. Tried to contact him, but couldn't, due to he marked delivered on the order. Contacted uber eat customer services via app and phone numerus times. NO ONE willing to help even I have a screenshot of the driver uploaded and took a photo of my house. (TOTALLY WRONG HOUSE, WRONG ADDRESS) Uber eat refused to see and accept photo from customer. The driver even removed the photo from the app after I filed compliant. THEY ARE BLAMING I put the wrong address or I am the one to responsible even the driver deliver to wrong address! BECAREFUL that your money will goes to nothing for this company.

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with a recent order experience I had with UberEats. I ordered a Big Mac Medium meal, but only the fries and orange juice were delivered. The main part of the meal, the burger, was missing.
I immediately called UberEats customer service, and the representative apologized and assured me that I would receive a refund for the missing burger. However, I was only refunded £1.95, whereas the burger itself costs £4.79. This discrepancy is both baffling and unacceptable.
When I questioned the refund amount, I was told that the refund policy is in line with McDonald's, and there was nothing more they could do. This policy leaves the customer out of pocket and seems entirely unfair. As a result, I am left feeling hungry, extremely disappointed and frustrated.
Given this experience, I will no longer be using UberEats and will be sharing my negative experience with others. I hope UberEats will reconsider its refund policies to better serve its customers in the future.

2 weeks ago I ordered from Popeyes and the driver said I gave the pin so I'm beat, so their driver lied and they didn't care then again I ordered from Popeyes and didn't get the surf and turf and both time I tried reporting right away and heard nothing back so I just tried to reach out to them 1 more time and finally got to chat with 4 of their customer service workers and all I'm told now is it's my fault because I didn't do anything within 48hrs which is also false. I have to try and get all the screenshots together if proof but will add soon. Not everyone has time for all this or why would we use their service in the 1st place?

I ordered food about 7pm through this app and picked time slot between 9:30 and 10pm after about an hour recieved messaged saying your order has been delivered, when I contacted customer support they simply said we followed through procedure so cannot refund this order. Beware this is an fraudulent company and making money by robing your pockets. Stay away from it.

Ordered through the McDonalds app which apparently uses Uber eats. About half of our order never arrived, seven cheeseburgers to be exact, so we called McDonalds and they said we had to go through Uber eats. Called Uber eats and they took all of our info, put us on hold, then told us that they could not offer us a refund. No explanation was given. Thanks a lot Uber eats, will not be using you ever again.

So firstly I must point out that Uber Eats are thieves. They are happy to break the law without a care in the world. I'll tell you more...
So today, I placed a large order for my workplace through the Mcdonalds app (order handled by Uber Eats).
When the order arrived there was one item missing.
Firstly, they make it very very hard to contact them when you order through a third party app. The only option through the Mcdonalds app is to contact Mcdonalds (but they are unable to help as the order is handled by Uber Eats). I went into the Mcdonalds restaurant and they confirmed it would need to go through Uber Eats. The order also isn't tracked through the Uber Eats website so you can't contact them through the website either. When you call Uber Eats, they recognise the phone number you are calling for and can identify that you haven't ordered through their website so then the phone line cuts you off and tells you to make contact on the website (which isn't possible).
Eventually I called a number for Uber which I knew was incorrect but the person I got through to was able to transfer me to someone who I could discuss the order with.
When I finally got through, I gave all of my details and told them which item was missing and was told they would not provide me with a refund but would 'make a note of the problem I had'. I also asked to speak to a manager and this person also refused to do anything. They constantly quoted to me that it was their policy to not provide a refund. I asked several times for more information about this policy and they refused and told me they were unable to share this information with customers. I specifically asked if it was their policy to steal from customers as this is what they had done. The 'manager' told me that was my 'opinion'. They refused however to directly answer that question.
Luckily my bank are assisting me in getting my money back but it really shouldn't have to go that far for the sake of one missing item.
I'm shocked and disgusted in how Uber Eats have treated me today and that they are able to keep on trading whilst stealing money from people.
I really hope this review goes part way at least in stopping people using them although poor service through these food delivery providers does seem to be a common occurrence.
Please stay far away from these scammers.

I would have gave this zero star rating because I've never paid a business for a service and then not get what I paid for and not be helped. I can't believe how they steal money from the customers and nobody gets in trouble. I have to order food everyday because I work a lot and you think that they would treat me like a respectable long time customer who uses the app often. If I order something and I pay for it and I don't get what I paid for I should get my money back but Uber eats will tell you there's nothing that they can do for you because you may have already complained once before about a different order. Which is crazy because it would be one thing if they showed up at the house and I didn't have money for the food which is not how Uber eats works but I'm giving the example. So they show up at the house I don't have any money and they take the food away I get that but when you drop off my order and it doesn't have my items and then tell me that I can't be reimbursed for what I didn't get is simply delusional. Just a warning ‼‼ I ordered a meal for my family off Uber Eats for $43.53 to my home with specific directions and the delivery driver dropped my order off somewhere else. I never arrived my order!
The deliver said they delivered it but they never tried to reach out to me. Not sure if this is a common scam but the order is not eligible for a refund according to Uber eats! PLEASE BE AWARE OF THERE SCAM 😞

Absolutely disgusting service. Ordered from McDonald's told 30 mins to deliver waited an hour called driver who said he was just about to collect. 20 mins later called again he said he was on his way. 2 hours pass I call Uber eats told he's 2 minutes away. Another 20 mins pass and I call back. He turned up while I was on the phone. Stone cold food and the time on the sticker from McDonald's was 2 hours before he gave us the food. Melted warm ice cream
Order was cancelled his end so we can't give feedback. Vile driver sat with it in his car I could have driven from Swindon to London in that time

Worst experience ever! I ordered, first time,i signed out as guest, an option available in their website.
My order came back with expired items. After hours on the phone i was told that there was nothing they can do, that they cant refund me because as a guest they didn't have my information. They emailed me, they charged my credit card, how can they say that they cannot access my information. If so, why that is not clarified in their website?
Be alert, this company doesn't care about it's customers.

Ordered some breakfast for my family and I never got my delivery. The delivery said he left the food in our lobby. Which we had instructions to come to our door with a pin that I have to tell him to confirm that he deliver the order. Nope left it there by the time I got my kids ready the food was gone and so was he. Contacted support and they basically said sucks to be you. No refund. $#*! this company. Never using it again.

Can't add to or charge your order even before it's allocated to a driver. They make their app purposely hard to navigate and impossible to cancel an order, even before allocated to a driver. Even though they add 10% to the items from Coles and then add their service fee and delivery fee depending on how much money you waste, I mean spend, with them. They are truly deceptively clever with the options they give to navigate the app. Aka they are really just c*nts pretending to be helpful. Hence them ripping everyone off.

I would never use Uber Eats. Roya, an Uber driver was disgruntled about me not giving her food from my restaurant because she didn't have a hot bag. I blocked her from my shop. So, she wrote a bogus review on Yelp. Uber does NOT care about the HOT food the driver just shoved in the backseat of their car, nor do they interview who they hire and they certainly don't care about your experience with the cold food they just delivered. Take third party delivery out of your equation. Order straight from the restaurant or pick it up yourself. Covid is over and they should be too considering their work ethic.

My order from Jack -in-the-box on 281 was not filled. I asked Kenneth the Delivery Driver to please get my 2 shakes, and I'd add a better tip. He said he would but never did. I asked Uber Eats for a refund of $16.28, and they responded with a half credit on Uber cash. I firmly stated I want myoney back. They refused: "Hi, We understand that you are expecting a refund, however, won't be able to provide you with a price adjustment on this order".
My order before this in January was never delivered. I watched him pass me by in a red truck, even with my waving, head to his home 4 minutes away, he stopped for 5 minutes, so I'm thinking he dropped off my order at his residence, came back down the road towards me, passed me by again, and kept on going. I called Uber eats, and she acted like I lied about him, said she'd call me, never did, but at least I received my $50 back. I guess he fed his family my food?

This company does not have ANY Customer Service whatsoever! They will do all they can to NOT make your botched order, right! I've dealt with them on serval occasions, nobody calls you back and they ALWAYS claim that someone will within 48 hours...that's a lie! I am canceling my subscription immediately!

I have never been more disgusted with an app. I do not recommend ordering food from them. I'd rather have my food delivered by a Cave man. I have more faith in an unintelligent wild man who has a fine eye for art...at least they keep the food fresh! Not only does the food come Freezing cold, On the 6th April, which is the day before my dad's birthday (And my last day seeing him before going back to My mum's home) I thought to order Some McDonald's as a "birthday meal" well.it certainly was a suprise, I had ordered as said on my receipt, 3 meals which all come with food and drink. To my surprise on opening my order both bags contained two lots of the same drinks...I'm sorry where's my food? So I decided to call McDonald's, the Uber man and even contacted Uber support, and you know what I received, a ton of hassle and grief. And in the end. I have still not been given my food or even a refund! And their excuse was "they had already credited my account"...yes in the past when I had an issue with an order...as you can see they don't change! Nor help. I have multiple photos of proof and even my receipt! But still that isn't good enough to get my food or receive a refund for the food! Haha! What a great suprise for my dad's birthday! And then they had the audacity to ask for feedback! Well I'll tell you the service is $#*! 😌

I've have had multiple issues with Uber, and the last straws were when they jacked up ride prices during a transit strike and when a restaurant delivered my order because they refused to after they canceled it without direction.
