I've had so, so many problems with UK2 over the years, as soon as I'm able to move hosting, I will be doing so! Their service and support is the worst I have every encountered by any company, billing and support never talk to each other.

Half their staff either don't know anything about their job or are just to stupid or ignorant to help.

Getting hold of them can take literally hours by phone or chat and their favourite game is for billing to say i need to speak with support and support saying i need to speak with billing. (2 days in at the moment!)

The latest drama is they are now holding my site hostage, saying that I need to pay to upgrade their servers and i can't upgrade my ssl until i do. Then of course they are forcing me to pay for 'Supreme Support' just to do this.

Save your money and find a better company, there is a reason that they have not enabled Google reviews!

Last word - Cowboys!

UK2.net terms and conditions are structured in a misleading and I would say dishonest way, though not illegal.

UK2.net VPS hosting is vastly overpriced. They have hidden charges for domain transfer that exceed the cost of domains, never seen that anywhere else before. All in all a disasterous but thankfully short business relationship.

Stay well clear of UK2.net unless you want overpriced, uncompetitive hosting and expensive, prohibitive domain transfer.

I used their services briefly, then cancelled my order. Since then I have been plagued with emails every day telling me that I have an incomplete web hosting. I have contacted them on numerous occasions to cancel y order but they just give me a number to ring that I cannot get through to. It should be possible to cancel something online, and not cause your customers such annoyance.

My email has been down all day, and there is no one available to help. Telephones are unanswered, can't even send an email via another provider ad they want to send me a code to verify my account via the email that is not working. UK2 have stressed me out and lost me time and business without so much as an apology.

Ripoff company with bait and switch business model.
They leave autorenewal enabled by default, don't mail you about renewals and proceed to taking money from your card. Of course their rates are 3-4 times higher than others.
When confronted they are being rude and don't offer any reasonable solution. The only reason for not fighting this with a chargeback is the lack of time.

uk2.net hosting review

I have never dealt with such a rude company in all my life! They do not deliver the service you pay for and you have to get the money refunded back.

When you put in a complaint to them they then send an e-mail taking the pi***,
I was amazed when I made a complaint and got back an e-mail that was abusive and rude. This company never answers the phone and all you get is RUDE insults!

Stay well CLEAR of this as only a FOOL would have hosting with this company. The set up is a disgrace and if your looking for insults then go to this company, by the way you also do not get any order confirmations or any help whatsoever, the organisations is a JOKE... Try it yourself as you will soon find out the hard way...

I advised one of my clients to buy his domain name 20 years ago at UK2.net
He called me 5 days ago because his website (which I host) was offline and he hadn't receive any emails for a few days
He had passed the renewal date for his domain name, and he now had one day left to recover it. (30 days + 5 days)
He called UK2.net and was told that if he wanted his domain back he had to pay £150!
The domain was not yet release for the public to buy, it is still pointing to his name servers. But they refused to let him just pay the normal yearly fee.
He has been with UK2 for 20 years (twenty years!)
This is outrageous.
I have many of my domains at UK2, been with them since 1996 I think. I feel embarrassed and responsible. I would have never thought UK2 would ever behave that way.
It's pure theft and extortion.
My client is musician, his email address is very important especially now that gigs start again. He has 2 little girls and had no gigs for 16 months due to pandemic.
I can't imagine keeping my domains at UK2 now,
I do not think that what they have done to him is legal.
