I purchased a customized coaster set. It arrived and had a dark spot where the names of the couple were. I submitted photos and asked for a replacement. I have emails stating they would replace and then sent an email with an expected delivery date. That date has come and gone. When I called, the customer service agent was rude and said that now I am no longer getting a replacement. I have bought many items from them before but NEVER again.

We bought from this company once in 2021 and they have been charging us an annual fee ever since. They make it difficult to dispute the charge. I would highly recommend every person to avoid this company.

We ordered a customized shadow paint kit that was advertised as coming with guided, customized instructions that would be good for beginners. The actual instructions received were very generic and not in any way instructional as to what colors to use, etc, We contacted customer service and was told there was a forever return policy and offered a refund. We competed the process and received an e mail the next day " whoops - that was a mistake. Sorry - no refund for you". Uncommon Goods doesn't stand behind what their customer service reps promise or the quality of their products.

My husband and daughter wanted to get me a nice gift so they pooled their money and bought me something from this dreadful website.the product is cheap garbage and they were so disappointed. They wanted to return it but this company is a scam and won't send a return label no matter how many times we have asked. Save your sanity and shop elsewhere. They would have bought from Amazon but they didn't want me to know what they bought lol

I spent $80 expecting a nice thick coffee table book well written about the history of the Detroit Lions with really nice colored pictures. I received a thin book that was literally re-printed newspaper pages through the years. Very small print, very chaotic, nothing you would pick up to read. I had the persons name engraved on it so it cannot be returned. I will not be buying from this site again

Hello! Sorry to hear you are unhappy with your purchase. The New York Times Custom Sports Book goes back to each team's early years (in some cases to when the team was created!). All books are at least 70 pages in length.
As noted on our site. These pages are not standard newspaper dimensions, therefore, the type is shrunk slightly to fit a more convenient, book-sized trim. Certain years/pages are reprinted from microfilm and font size may be reduced. New pages may not be available for inclusion for up to 6 months after the date of print. Missing pages may be the result of a newspaper strike or a lack of relevant information on the front page for that date

I placed an order for 3 small jars of dips. The box was less than 1 foot in length. It came in a 5 foot box filled almost entirely with packing. I have not tried the dips, they are a gift so I cannot comment about those. The packing was so over the top that I had to write a review. My recycling can is full due to this ridiculous way of packaging.

When the package came bigger than me I was so confused as to what it could be. When I opened it it was full of packing, a whole garbage can full and then at the bottom was the dips I ordered. I think someone was making a joke because no normal person would pack that item in that size box.

I intended to simply send them some feedback regarding my experience.
I accidentally approved a proof and then called immediately to request that it be changed as directed by their page.
Their customer service lady was not only rude but unhelpful as their website said to call immediately if there was a problem and I did.
She said well you approved it so no guarantee.
Absolutely nothing was changed.
I had no idea if it was corrected until it was opened.
I do not believe she sent my corrections and am gravely disappointed.
I sent the feedback to them via email.
The response I got was an offer to repurchase the item and then they would refund 50% of the repurchase after I paid. Why on earth would that offer even make sense? They truly have zero concept of how retail works.

Ordered an item from them and they automatically signed me up for a membership that I didn't agree to, and charged me $21. Apparently they refund you if you cancel within a month, but what kind of scummy practice is this?

1. Company false advertises production and delivery times for products. Promised on website proof takes two days - count on a week. Add on another week for production and shipment.
2. Customer service runs you around for a week, delaying the inevitable news they cannot get your order in time. Ruining a very special Christmas Surprise for my family
3. Department which deals with personalized orders very condescending, rude, and essentially useless in making anything happen. Really no accountability for ruining someone's christmas.
Safe yourself the hassle and overpriced prices - work with Etsy. Support local artists and stay away from this soulless corporate conglomerate

This 6 month subscription was way overpriced for the cheap stuff that was delivered. One set was completely changed to a different item and a second set had dead plants on arrival. Definitely would not recommend. You can get all these items much cheaper elsewhere.

I ordered an Adam Frank lumen candle. Pictures and the video were beautiful. In reality, the product threw much smaller shadows and the oil reservoir is not refillable. It says 17 hours of light, but I don't believe it was lit for more than 10 hours. Then you are forced to buy additional fuel cells. I'm going to try votive candles and see if that works.

My first order went through fine, so I didn't suspect anything. I placed my next order on Thanksgiving with the assumption that it would arrive well before Christmas. After the maximum amount of days passed, I contacted their support chat and asked about my order. They said it was lost in the mail and that the items I had ordered were sold out. They offered to refund me. I took them up on that. I'm now on the last day for the refund to post and that hasn't posted either. Do not buy from this site for any reason. It's very upsetting that a website that connects users to artists is so utterly unable to get its act together.

Got ballpark map pint glasses for boyfriend who was unable to attend last TX Ranger game at that ballpark, got the glasses for him and he LOVED them; forever keepsake. Liked many other items on this site, will order again. I didn't experience any problems so I can't say anything about customer service since I didn't need assistance. Order was correct, shipping took a little longer than other places so order plenty time in advance (like 3 or more weeks). I'd add photo but glasses are at his place- one was a blue map and other glass was red map. Pint glasses come in 2's
This is the worst online purchasing experience I've ever had. They can't provide me with a tracking number but assure me that my item is on it's way. My credit card hasn't even been charged yet. I have called and IM'ed numerous times over the last week and get the same run-around every time I call "the personalized department is backed up and there's an issue with uploading tracking numbers - we'll have someone call you." Nobody every calls me back. I've only received emails back after I have called enough times to annoy them. I paid extra for faster delivery but they can't even tell me for sure when or if it shipped. Like I said, worst customer service ever!

I tried to order customized gifts for my family and it has taken at least 6 calls and an equal number of emails and the order is STILL WRONG! I'm on the phone with them again. I'm on hold so I thought I'd be productive and warn others about the horrible customer experience! When you call customer service, be prepared to be on hold for a long time and when someone answers it may sound like you've called someone's home and just woke them up. That happened twice and the extremely out of it person was just as "helpful" as you might expect. Save yourself a lot of grief and time, don't order from here.

Ordered a cute necklace for a dear friend. I didn't check before gifting. Unfortunately there was a minor flaw she found. Sent for a return label mailed it immediately. At the very same time asked for a replacement necklace. Well that was over 4 weeks ago now they tell me the necklace is no longer available. I had to make the inquiry myself. Yet I have not received a credit card refund.

Horrible Customer Service. Ordered gift two weeks before Christmas and paid for shipping that would get it delivered in plenty of time. 12 days after ordering contacted company and they just made excuses about how busy they were. Lied to 4 times and was told that my item would ship that day and they would expedite shipping to overnight in order to receive by Christmas. Two days after Christmas still had not shipped, had to threaten to open a dispute with Paypal to get them to refund my money. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Reps are either extremely uninformed or outright liars!

Tried to order the "original whiskey ball" as a Christmas gift. Having ordered the item on 11-4 their 30 day guarantee was assuring that it would arrive before Christmas. Not hearing anything by 12-13 I had to email them. Thier response to said email was they had manufacturing issues & would try to have my item ready by the end of January. They so generously offered to give me a refund. Shame I'm now a week away from christmas & all I hot from "the original whiskey ball" was a big middle finger from a hack company with a hack product. Wish I could give 0 stars.

I ordered a custom cookie stamp for Christmas which arrived yesterday. It was just in a plastic box. No instructions or recipe sample to use. I used a sugar cookie recipe and the dough just gets stuck in the letters! I tried spraying it with canned flour baking spray and still no good! The letters are so small in our name! Maybe shouldn't have sides. I bake a lot and already have 23 different types of cookies in the freezer and wanted these to top off my trays that I give as gifts! Extremely disappointed! Want a refund!

Seems to be a common theme, I ordered on 12/13, chose shipping option to be here by 12/21, as of 12/22, product has not shipped warehouse. I would avoid unless you want a barren looking Christmas tree this year.
We did purposely hold some orders in our warehouse for a few days but we upgraded shipping at no cost to the customers. However, your order should have arrived within the time frame you selected. I have ordered many products from Uncommon Goods over a number of years, and I have been happy with all of them, and so have my lucky friends and family members who have received them as gifts! I actually look forward to receiving their catalogue and finding new things in it. I see that a reviewer says the site is a scam, and that's just ridiculous. I've placed at least 10 orders with them and literally never had a problem (I ordered the pistachio pedestal, tea mug, star scarf, jewelry dish, ice cream dishes, hanging bat sculpture, etc.!). Yes, shipping is not free and not instant: it's not amazon, which is why you're getting unique, handmade stuff instead of the same stuff everyone else has!
