My son religiously pops a bubble each day when he returns home from work. Without your bubble calendar, I would have to fashion one up myself, at great frustration. So Uncommon Goods offers us a compact, fun-filled activity certain to make any household function better. Just wish the price were less!
So I used to buy from this site - used to. Last order, the snuck in a "perks" membership. By the time I see my credit card bill to pay - it's past the 30 days to cancel. This is just fraud. Memberships should be a proactive choice, not a sneaky charge. I'm done with this company.
They never fail with beautiful, original gifts. They also ship at amazing speed. Everyone except for maybe Amazon has issues shipping at holidays, people should take that into account. Amazing company!
I had an issue with an order in December and within 1 day had a replacement shipped to me. When that was defective, they sent me yet another right away, letting me know that they wanted to get it right. And they did! The person who got the gift (baseball glasses) loved it. Sorry to see negative reviews because when I've ordered from UncommonGoods in the past, I always got exactly what I expected to get and had no problems with charges, payments, or anything else. I will continue to order from them.
Atrocious customer service from "Myrtelle E". I signed up to receive a $5 coupon off as well as free shipping but could not apply the code. Was on live support with customer service who told me orders to Canada cannot redeem ANY coupon codes. I looked & nowhere on the website does it say this, nor does it disclose that in the email they sent me with the coupon. The chat agent ended the chat with me when I asked to speak to someone else. Terrible company "policy" which also legally needs to be stated somewhere on the website or in the email they sent me. Seem like a scheme to attain customer info/email which they most likely sell. Buy from independent brands directly!
Item ordered on Sept 18, was supposed to be shipped by Sept 25 and delivered by October 2. I paid $50 to ship a $100 item to ensure it would arrive by October 2. I called today and spoke with the most useless customer service rep. He put me on hold 5 times he had no idea even what shipping company they were using. Come to find out it the item is being shipped to New Jersey for October 1 and then they have no idea what date it is actually going to get to me (in western Canada). All he could say is that it might get to me by October 2. I had to explain to him several times there was no way an item would get from the eastern United States to Western Canada in one day. They would not allow me to cancel the order. Now I am left with a late wedding gift. Which they have no idea when that will arrive. The entire order was supposed to be delivered to me at my house by October 2 instead they shipped it to NJ for October 1. VERY bad customer service. Avoid using this company

It was the holiday season and my teen suddenly announced that he wanted to gift his teachers- suddenly, I have to find 6 unique gifts! As I was searching the big internet shopping sites for something special - I somehow ended up on the uncommon goods site - it was easy to navigate, had great information about the gifts and the items were reasonably priced. Each teacher let me know that they appreciated the unique gifts and my son was proud to give something other than a gift card. Great customer service too.

Gifts can be selected by type, by price and depending on who you will be giving gift to - it makes it easy to find unique items that you might not have thought about.
Ive been shopping with Uncommon Goods for years now and Ive only ever had a problem with one item. One call to customer service, who were extremely professional and friendly, and the problem was immediately fixed. I love the items available on the site. Its always my go to for anyone thats hard to shop for or the person that has everything because of how unique and personal the items are. I will happily continue my business with Uncommon Goods! They never disappoint.
The shipping is a bit pricey, but since I only order from them once a year (Christmas) I make sure to order everything I need at once. I love the variety of products, and they are always well made. I had a problem with an item not shipping, and customer service was quick to fix the problem and had the item out to me within 2 days of my complaint. I also LOVE that they don't sell items with leather, fur, feathers, etc. I can appreciate any company looking to lower the use of animal products. It makes shopping for vegan products much easier.
Always a pleasant experience to do business with Uncommon Goods. Fantastic products that are well made as well as individually hand made- no factory, assembly line products. The company also donates to worthy non for profit organizations with every order at no expense to customer; in addition to being a company that cares a great deal for their own employees. Basically a company with good values, ethics and morals, which is difficult to find in corporations these days.
I don't really want to waste anymore time on these morons. My advise is never order from Uncommongoods. I have been fighting for a month to get an error fixed with a custom order. All they are interested in is recharging me when they messed up and they don't even care about the hassle that they have caused me.

I have ordered several times from Uncommon Goods. There is always something unique and reasonably priced. Every gift that I have given has been well received and valued. It's my go-to place for special quality items. It is ALWAYS delivered when they say and always packaged beautifully.
I recently purchased a pair of friendship lamps, and due to some unique circumstances, after 6 months, hoped to return just one of them. When I called, I was met with kindness, respect, and humanity, and before the end of the call, already had the return label in hand. Thank you! As a side note, the recordings they have you listen to when on hold are the best on the planet. It's absolutely NOT muzak.
Received a History by Mail subscription for Christmas. Was not impressed with the item. Tried to cancel subscription and was told it is a "custom" item... it is just printed copies! So I guess I will be recycling it along with the junk mail for the next 12 months. Will never recommend buying from this site as there is no customer satisfaction available.

I ordered a birthday present 3 days before I needed it. The girl from customer service suggested a way of shipping that would get the package to me in time. I received confirmation of the order and when at 4 on the day promised the package had not arrived I called customer service to find out what was up. The gentleman who answered quickly looked into my issue. When he needed more time he said hed call me back. And less than an hour later he called. He said that the package was scheduled to arrive before the end of day, which was 9:00 that evening. And sure enough the package arrived in time! So helpful, and the present was even nicer than I expected. Thank you to your customer service staff. They all deserve a grade A!
I love shopping at Uncommon Goods for unique gifts. They have so many items for anyone in my life, be it my mom, brother or boss. Everything I have purchased has been a huge hit with the recipient. I will continue to recommend Uncommon Goods to friends and family to who are also looking for that special someone in their life.
I order one item for my boyfriend's Christmas gift. I paid an extra $16.95 to get it to my house by 12/23. When I get my email it says it won't even ship until 12/24. I email a customer service representative who explains there is fine print on custom orders saying it will take longer. It was extremely unclear. It is now 4 days post Christmas Eve and I still have not gotten an email saying my item has shipped. When I called the company they didn't even have a tracking number to figure it out. The representative I spoke to was having a personal conversation when she answered the phone which she didn't stop until about 20 seconds in which I found EXTREMELY unprofessional. Fingers crossed my package arrives ever at this point. Will never order from this site again. Untrustworthy, unprofessional, and unclear. Disappointing.

This company lied to me. After I paid for next-day delivery, they let the item sit in the warehouse for two days, told me that it had been shipped and I would get it today, and now tell me it's out of stock and I'll get it in January. They are a disgrace. They could have made it good, but would not. Avoid these people at all cost.

I have ordered several items from this website because they offer such a unique selection of gift ideas at reasonable prices. I have always received the items in a timely fashion, with no problems whatsoever.
I wanted to buy customized coffee mugs with my grandsons' names on them printed under a cartoon character like image of each of them that I created from choices on their website. I received them and one had the boy's name and one only the image of him I created. Uncommon Goods claimed I didn't request that a name be printed on the second mug but was unable to show me my original order as I filled it out online. All they had for me was the receipt I received with shipment that didn't have a second name for the second mug. I am sure I requested both mugs to have names but Uncommon Goods refused to make good on my order or even allow me to return it, claiming that the order was personalized and not returnable or refundable. I certainly won't order anything from this company again.

Ordered a Christmas gift for my daughter and used PayPal. The tracking info indicated that the order will be delivered to me instead of the requested delivery address on their online order application. I Immediately notified their customer service and they told me that there's nothing they can do and it is up to me to contact the provider. They took no responsibility for their dysfunctional online ordering system. I am now a human advertisement against their company

I asked them for the shipping dimensions of a package and they gave me totally incorrect information. This led to the package costing significantly more than it should have. Instead of refunding me the different (which they claimed they were incapable of doing because apparently they don't know how to use PayPal) they insisted that the whole thing be returned.

Depending on the item/s being shipped they may need to use more packing material than expected (ie: it's a fragile item) or they can use a far smaller box (ie: it's an unbreakable item such as socks, a tie, or a pillow). I ordered my mother and father-in-laws custom mugs for Christmas. One came broken in the box and Uncommongoods was so accommodating! They got my order in as quickly as possible and even gave me complimentary 2-day shipping to make sure they came in before Christmas! The mugs themselves are wonderful and really high quality! If you're looking for a unique gift this is the place to go!

My mother actually stumbled upon Uncommon Goods and told me about the site. I really like that it has products of all price ranges and that they are so unique. Another great feature, when you choose an item it gives you a little back story on the product, who makes it, where its from. I think that is completely awesome! I like to check every so often for the new gifts that have been released and like to try and shop here for gifts for my friends and family. All around great site, great products, and I like telling my friends about it.
My mother has a metal allergy and it was hard to find one of these we liked and was at least 14 K gold. The fact that it closes was really nice and why I went with this over the other real gold one (plated). Wish you could by a wick that you could add your own oils to as my mom has dementia and Frankincense does seem to help her.

I ordered Christmas gifts with plenty of time to get here. With expected delivery well before Christmas. The shipping said it was to be shipped two weeks ago. Both are still in that status. They won't make it by Christmas and someone won't get their gifts. This company won't get anymore business from me.

Everything about my experience dealing was this company was wonderful. The products are top notch and it's nice to know they are made by small business. I did have a bit of trouble ordering on line, however; when I called customer service they handled the problem quickly and they were nice and personal, in fact I think she was happier than I was that the problem was resolved.
