My son religiously pops a bubble each day when he returns home from work. Without your bubble calendar, I would have to fashion one up myself, at great frustration. So Uncommon Goods offers us a compact, fun-filled activity certain to make any household function better. Just wish the price were less!
So I used to buy from this site - used to. Last order, the snuck in a "perks" membership. By the time I see my credit card bill to pay - it's past the 30 days to cancel. This is just fraud. Memberships should be a proactive choice, not a sneaky charge. I'm done with this company.
I feel like I've just been fleeced. I order a tea set from this company and a day later found the price was significantly cheaper at Bloomingdales. They would not honor the price match. But offered to let me return it. Since it was sent to a friend it would be very tacky to ask my friend to return it for me.
If you find something you like on their website do a search on google and I bet you will find a much lower price somewhere else. After this experience I will never order from this company again. I feel totally ripped off.
Update! I got an email on 12/24 saying my order would never come, and was given the option to cancel it for a refund, which I did. I never received said refund, and the order finally came today, 10 days after this correspondence. Now I'm being told I have to send it back in order to receive the refund, which is requiring extra time and effort that I don't have. I shouldn't have to be responsible for their screw up. Never have I ever dealt with such an incompetent company. Also, Jennifer from the company said in a comment that she was emailing me privately, which never happened.

I wish I had read all these reviews before ordering with this company. Same experience as it sounds like everyone had... I placed an order almost 2 weeks ago that said it would arrive by 12/20. On 12/20, I tracked it and it still said preparing to ship. So I reached out to the company and was told that the order never processed, but they would expedite it to arrive no later than 12/24. As of today (12/23), it still has not shipped. I reached out again and was told "there's still a chance :) " it would arrive tomorrow but they're backed up and can't guarantee it. Now I'm not going to have a gift for my sister in law at our gift exchange on Christmas Day.
I wanted to order 8 personalized tic tac toe boards, ($400 worth of business) contacted the company via email with very clear details and instructions, was then told I needed to call customer service. Called customer service and they need each order made separately over the phone so I have to give my credit card # 8 times! The orders will be 8 different orders and I was told would arrive in 8 different boxes/deliveries as well. I told the rep that that's really bad for the environment to use so many boxes and that the company needs to rethink the practicality of their systems.

I ordered a few super fun Christmas gifts from Uncommon Goods this year. It was my first experience with them and they had a lot of unique items to choose from. I had a shipping problem with one of my packages (it was the post office's fault) and the customer service representative at Uncommon Goods was so helpful and nice while she helped me track down my package, even though it wasn't their fault in any way. I'll definitely be back!
I paid for 2 days shipping because l needed the gift today and it is not going to come to til tomorrow! $18.95 and $105 in gifts and nothing. Now I have to try and rush around to find another unique gift for my friend. Uncommon Goods wanted to refund my shipping... hello! That is a given and then they wanted to offer me $5. Future Credit! I understand its Fed Ex but that is their carrier of choice and now I am inconvenienced and have to try and find another gift on my way to this event! How rude. A manager has not even tried to call me. I am not impressed or pleased with this company. And I tried to buy America!

Ordered a custom item on 12/4. It was to ship on 12/19. Emailed 12/19 as shipping said in process. They followed up on 12/20 saying they were looking into it and would get back to me ASAP. I emailed 12/21 saying I hadn't received any further update. It is now 12/23 and still no response. Will not order from them again.

For our grandson's birthday, we ordered him a personalized book. When it arrived, we were overwhelmed. The hard cover book was beautifully written and illustrated with all the correct details. We LOVE it and our grandson will, no doubt, love it, too! The book arrived well ahead of schedule and was well packaged. Kudos to all at Uncommon Goods. We will shop again for other unique gifts!

I ordered an item on December 10 and paid for 3-8 business day delivery. I followed the tracking information which stated in process so on Dec 19 I called and was told by a rep that I would receive the item Dec 22. Not true. The item will not be here until Dec 27. So much for my sons Christmas!

I spent a lot of money on Christmas gifts which said were in stock when I ordered them, but they were NOT in stock and wouldnt arrive until several weeks after Christmas. I had to make 2 or 3 calls to can el and refund my order. Plus things tend to be quite expensive and really tiny.

I have been the recipient of several lovely gifts purchased at Uncommon Goods. Each item has brought me joy. When I have needed customer service to assist with a problem ( an accident resulting in an item breaking) I have immediately been shipped a replacement with no problem... only courtesy. I recommend this outfit to everyone!
I was blown away by the selection of one-of-a-kind products. I have people that very difficult to shop for, and I was able to find that something special at a great price. Then, due to the sheer volume and bustle of the Christmas rush, there was problem with the delivery company, not once but twice. UncommonGoods was just amazing and still managed to get the gift to me in time for Christmas. Im not sure a person can ask for better service than that! I just cant reccomend them enough.
Ordering was easy, shipment arrived quicker than i had anticipated, are were well packed so no damage and a good place to find fun gifts. My order was simple as all the items were billed and shipped to my address. They speak of helping local artists but many of my items were made outside the Country, but were as pictured. Wouls use them again.
I made an online purchase and never received confirmation. I saw a charge on my credit card four days later so I reached out to inquire. They told me I had put in the wrong expiration date. They did nothing to notify me on their end, I only found out when I reached out. Also, I have never had a company put a pending authorization on my card when the information given was incorrect. It was disconcerting. When I did reach out I learned after my items were sold out. Not that I want to shop there anymore, but if I did, how frustrating!

When someone attempts to place an order with a retailer, the funds are automatically put in a ‘pending’ status and the amount is put on hold. If the order is successful, the merchant will collect these funds and the purchase amount will be debited from the account. If the order is not successful, the merchant will be unable to collect the funds and the bank will return the funds to the account, typically within 1 to 5 business days. Merchants have some say in which fields to verify. We, for example, choose to verify the billing zip code among other fields. We've found that checking more than one piece of data against the bank's records is a better way to help prevent someone from fraudulently using a customer's card.

I ordered a book of dad jokes as a stocking stuffer for my son in law on Nov 9,2021 for Christmas 2021. It took until Dec 27th, 2021 for Uncommon Goods to send me a reply to my inquiry asking for status of my item.
I usually try to support small business and give small business owners income for their small business. However, experiences like this make me regret ordering from an unknown small business such as Uncommon Goods.
My experience says don't order from Uncommon Goods.com. They're nothing but a scam taking money from people paying for a good / service they never intend to deliver. If I could give zero stars I would. Disappointment monumental.

I am very disappointed in Uncommon Goods. I ordered an item for my anniversary and they delivered the wrong item. I tried to work with customer service to get the right item. They wound up charging my paypal without my authorization... AND they charged me twice for the item. I talked to their customer service and they said that it didn't happen and were very harsh to me. I was hung up on. I sent them the two charges and they eventually refunded me with no apology or consideration for the stress this has caused me. I recommend staying away from this company since they are double charging customers and not authorizing purchases.

When I need something for that hard to buy for person, I always find something on Uncommon Goods! A recent purchase was the family block blanket. We have a large family and needed more names than the template allowed. Uncommon Goods contacted the artist and got it done for me! They were in constant contact with me and the blanket was delivered in the same amount of time and was perfect! I am always checking out the site even when I don't need a gift!

I bought two different shipments of holiday gifts from Uncommon Goods this year. I paid the rush shipping fee on each shipment. For one of the shipments, one gift came much later than it was supposed to. For the other shipment, one of the gifts was not in the box. When I called to complain about each, the customer service was unapologetic and said it was not possible to be refunded the rush shipping fee. What a joke. Don't use them if you want to get the item you paid for!

December 1st I ordered two personalized pictures. The first one came on December 19th, wrong picture, Called advised them, sent picture of picture plus shipping label. Back and forth emails with no definitive answer. I asked them to send a shipping label so I could send the wrong picture back. Customer service told me I can't send it back until the original owner complains of non receipt. What! Finally, today they advised me they will reorder my original order. Again I asked for a shipping label to return item. Still no response. I have paid over $500.00 for different items from this company but after this no more. It may have started off as a good company but now it's gone downhill with mix ups and shipping
There are many lessons for us here. Thank you for sharing this with us. We're all so very sorry for everything that's gone wrong.

Your custom service is outstanding! I had a Christmas gift that didnt arrive when it was supposed to. The Customer Service team located the problem and overnight shipped a new one. I would not hesitate to recommend Uncommon Goods to others and I am looking forward to shopping with you all again!
I did not have any prior knowledge of this company, but I found some interesting products that they carry through some online research. My first indication that this is a poor company was when I did not receive and email confirmation for my order. I contacted them and found the order had been placed and it was scheduled to be delivered on 12-12. Well, almost a week later, still nothing. Now their site says the order should arrive today, 12-17. I contacted them and they informed me that the order was probably lost. I cancelled my order, but it will now take multiple days for them to review my order and issue my refund. Sorry folks, but you cant operate an e-commerce business if you can't ship and deliver in the timeframes that you indicate on your site or even guarantee that the product will be delivered at all! Never again.

They take your money and don't deliver. When you call out their customer service people, they say all the right things but don't deliver on what they say they will do.
I can't imagine they will be in business very long with how they treat customers.

I was having technical difficulties with the site when I tried to place an order as a gift for my sister. When I called, the lady I spoke with not only efficiently helped me place my order but did so with such warmth and kindness that she made my day. My sister loved her gift and it arrived even earlier than anticipated. I couldn't have been happier with the experience of shopping with uncommon goods and I know it won't be my last.
Purchase item on 12-14-19 was told it would arrive in 3 to 6 business days. After receiving the confirmation email and status showed item preparing.
Called customer service on 12-24, Mary answered the call by saying Hello. I knew I was in trouble by that. She assured me my package would arrive by 8 pm.
Called today and new representatives informed me that she could get it sent out and arrive in 3 business days. Then informed me she was wrong the item wasn't even in stock and would be able to get until January 20,2020.
