My son religiously pops a bubble each day when he returns home from work. Without your bubble calendar, I would have to fashion one up myself, at great frustration. So Uncommon Goods offers us a compact, fun-filled activity certain to make any household function better. Just wish the price were less!

So I used to buy from this site - used to. Last order, the snuck in a "perks" membership. By the time I see my credit card bill to pay - it's past the 30 days to cancel. This is just fraud. Memberships should be a proactive choice, not a sneaky charge. I'm done with this company.

I ordered a personalized nightlight over three weeks before I needed it and paid extra for the shipping to ensure it arrived on time. Now day of the party, still not received. Someone at this company shipped it USPS instead of UPS and it is MIA. Not only do I NOT have a gift now for a party today but I have to run and grab some cheap toy. I will NEVER purchase anything from here again! They will credit my shipping, BIG DEAL. Credit my entire order, it is lost by USPS.

This place is bogus, cool website but its a scam paid $90 for a lamp for a birthday gift, never received and the website said it was canceled. Called customer service talk to John. Said my bank holds the money because it looks like a fraudulent charge. Even though it was still taken out of my account. (I work at a bank so I know that's not how they do things) John said a manager would contact me. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY. YALL BOGUS AF.

Just like the title says- its all cheap stuff...the same exact items you find on Ali Express, Wish, Temu, etc...imported in and sold at a big markup.The site is just better designed and NZ based.

Ordered some high ball glasses that were packed so poorly they arrived broken. Literally they were thrown in a big box with 3 pieces of brown paper on top. No one bothered to wrap them or secure them so they all rolled around in the box and broke. I had 2 orders of them. 1st order I was assured refund would be in 24-48 hrs, that was 6 days ago. The 2nd order I got notice from Fed Ex it was sending it back to the shipper due to damage. That was also 6 days ago no refund. 2 long on line chats with customer service. Today will have to make yet another call. The service is terrible. The glasses were supposed to be etched. They looked more than silk screened, maybe very slightly etched, lousy cheap looking and they were $16 each. I've never ordered from this company and did so as the glasses were suppose to be "etched" with the map of Charlotte NC, these were gifts for his boss, and employees who work on those streets daily. There are too many good companies out there for you to bother with this one. My last review their response was total boiler plate, it was obvious the person did not read my review of them completely and did not look up my order history, just gave me the call customer service. However as I said I've done that 2 times now its gonna be 3. Ugh.

The site shows order received and paid on dec. 7th
Shipping updates the item arrives at fedex 6 days later, its Been rescheduled 3 times. Already Dec. 17th and NO ITEM IS AT MY HOME UNDER MY XMAS TREE.
I will NEVER, EVER, EVER shop this place again. I recommend spending $2 more and buying exact same item on Amazon. Try to save a dime and get bit in the behind

Ordered the smallest thing and came in a huge box with another huge box inside WITH PAPER. The packaging covered my entire couch! SO WASTEFUL never ordering again

I ordered several items early in December with a guaranteed delivery date of 12/23 at the latest, I still hadn't received any shipping info by the 18th so I called and the lady in customer service put me on hold and talked with the warehouse and then ensured me that my items were shipping that day and they would expedite the shipping in order to meet the delivery deadline. Two days later, on the 20th, I still had no tracking info so I called again. They informed me that some of my items were actually now out of stock and that they fulfilled orders that came in after mine on accident so I wouldn't get the items until January. The few items that were still in stock would ship, but they could no longer guarantee a 23rd delivery date. Never ever will I shop from them again.

I ordered a set of glasses for my sister and a personalized doormat for my parents on December 12 for Christmas. The glasses arrived December 23, smashed. They were replaced. Ok. However, I am still waiting for the mat and it is January 5. I have been given various excuses including it being held up in customs by borderfree, to it being delivered and picked up by someone named Melissa in Iowa. I am Canadian and know no one in Iowa. They also sent me two WRONG tracking numbers. I even received an email saying I would receive my doormat by a specific date. It didn't arrive then. Yesterday, I got a confirmation from DHL that the order assigned to my tracking number was arriving. It did not. It arrived today. And guess what? It is still not the mat. The sticker on the box was supposed to match my mat. When we opened the box it was the glasses. Not the mat. So I called back again, and now they are going to look into it. I have countless emails and hours on the phone and feel like I'm not getting anywhere. Frustrated. My parents leave tomorrow. They live a 6 hour flight away. No Christmas present. Sighhhhh.

Before I place my order for Christmas, I called to make sure all items were available and deliverable before Christmas.
Surprise!
When I received the order confirmation, just one of the three items were going to make it before Christmas.
One of them, was back ordered until February 27, but a label was created for it nevertheless, thus charged to my account.
I called customer service to cancel the item, but since the label was created for delivery, I was sent a return label, meaning I have to wait until February to get the package and then I can return it. Of course they have my money and I won't get it back until the return happens, does this make sense?
The other item was a custom book for my grandkid.
The confirmation order says it will be delivered after January 2, even tough it was promised by December 20.
I called customer service and said I could paid$10.99 for expedite delivery, which I did. I checked again today, after a week, and they haven't done anything yet, though they took my extra $ 10.99.
My first experience was 4 years ago.
I purchased some hand painted mugs, they arrived smashed in little pieces, I went through hell to get my money back.
Should have learnt my lesson.

Tip for consumers:
Never order from them.
You will never get your items delivered in the promised time frame.
Packaging is awful, your merchandise will arrive damaged.
Customer service and return policies are nightmarish.
A waste of your time and energy with the many calls you will need to make to get your money back.

This is ridiculous look at the prices on the items who sells a coffee cup for 75.$ or a small little wooden box for 120$ this website is I'm ripping people off with some crappy merchandise

I was trying to order wine infused coffee. After placing the delivery address and the credit card details, the site said "order cannot be processed", but they still charged my card for the goods that I was supposed to order. Worse thing is, I tried to order again thinking it was just an internet connection error, but I just got charged again. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS WEBSITE.

The tapas/ cheeseboard I ordered from Uncommon Goods, a company that says their merchandise is Made In America, arrived today labeled Made In China. The company cleverly adds a tiny removable label to disguise the provenance their goods.

Products used:
I reluctantly kept the item but will not use this business again. If I wanted items Made in China, I would order them much more cheaply from Amazon.

Uncommon Goods contacted me and advised that they would remake the hobby glass at no cost. I received the replacement and again the name is crooked and placed too high up on the glass. And instead of a red shirt they changed it to orange. I've contacted them and was asked to send a photo. I've done that and now my messages on this matter remain unanswered.

I ordered a personalized hobby drinking glass to replace the one I accidentally broke. The name was placed on the glass crooked and way up at the top at the rim. I was completely dissatisfied with this item I paid almost $40.00 for. I contacted them and their solution to my dissatisfaction was for me to pay 50% for a replacement plus shipping and tax.

******WARNING******
Do not buy anything Uncommon Goods. They are poorly run, have bad processes and even worse customer service.

I like to send my family different and fun gifts for Christmas and I thought I had selected a good option for Christmas 2023. I purchased 5 sets of olive oil spices and a gourmet bottle of olive oil from Uncommon Goods. $80 per set for over $400 total. I thought everything was good until I received two separate texts today from my 2 nieces thanking us for this gift... but they wondered what it was for since today is January 6,2024. So, they both received our gift almost 2 weeks after Christmas, and one month after the promised delivery date. I immediately called customer service and they confirmed that all gifts left their warehouse in November but 2 out of 5 did not arrive until January 6 and one still hasn't been delivered. I asked for credit on all 3 and they said it is not their responsibility once it leaves their warehouse. Bull! If they have the capabilities of tracking packages one month after the promised delivery date they should a have process in place to follow up on any package not delivered by the delivery date. And, 100% of this process could be completely automated. So, either their management team is inept, lazy, cheap or does not care about their customers.

It is funny how every single holiday gift we ordered from Amazon (probably 35 in total) and other online companies arrived on time, but all gifts ordered from Uncommon Goods had a 60% fail rate.

I can write code and I would be happy to reprogram their system to automatically alert their logistics team, shipping partners and customers if any package is late. My fee would be say, oh $400, but probably a lot more. I hate these people.

Bah humbug, Uncommon Goods.

Even after being notified, with documentation and websearch info ('kelly O'Neal + swindler' or 'design legacy + thieves'), this dishonest, unethical, greedy company still sells designs and merchandise stolen from Dallas-area artists! What's wrong with so-called 'businesspeople' these days that they think no one cares how evil and dishonest they are? UPDATE: Based on placing this review, the company contacted me, and refunded my money... admirable, but too little, too late. They spent more then a week passing me around from person to person, always blaming something else, and by the time someone actually tried to correct things, the item was "out of stock"... so now no Christmas present for whom it was intended. I was also told that they would sent out a replacement, when the item is back in stock. Again, admirable, but too little, too late. As the old saying goes... You never get a second chance, to make a good first impression! Ordered a "Mochi Ice Cream kit"... it contains foodstuffs... so it's logical to ship it "expedited"... Well, it's been over a week now, and nothing. So there's a package with food in it... freezing/thawing, freezing/thawing for over a week now! And they think I'm going to give that to a family member? They blame FedX, and keep passing me around to different people all the time... FED UP! When I asked why they'd not sent another, with a return label for the "lost one"... you could hear the crickets chirping! Likely the worst experience, and customer service I've ever encountered.

I ordered a Christmas gift for my sister on November 27th but it wasn't until the expected delivery date (December 16th) that I contacted this company to let them know the order hadn't been received. It is then that they informed me that the product that I had ordered was out of stock (not a few days after the actual order was placed) but they managed to charge my card on the date of the order even though the item was clearly not in stock and was never shipped. Today is the second time I have had to request my refund be processed in a timely manner (It is now December 21) and still no refund. Steer clear. If I don't get my refund promptly, I will be reporting them to the FTC and BBB for fraudulent business practices. They have no business advertising products they no longer have and charging customers for items that are not available.

I wish I would have read these reviews before I ordered from this company. Not only was the catalog description way off, customer service is not accommodating. I can't even return for a full refund.

Placed an order on December 1 for a personalized custom print. It was to be a Christmas gift for my husband's family. They received someone else's print 2 weeks later. We notified the company immediately and were assured they would correct the problem immediately. We were guaranteed Christmas delivery. Instead, we've spent hours on the phone, sent numerous emails and finally told them we intended to file a complaint with PayPal and the BBB. They even had the audacity to send a shipping label to our family stating they needed to send the mistake back in order to get their print. Apparently the intent was to switch the mistaken print between the 2 families. While I feel badly for the other family, I don't think our gift receipients should be inconvenienced at all! The company charged my PayPal account for $118 very quickly but it took all this time to get what we paid for. Print finally delivered today. We were promised a $25 gift certificate, which we never received. We were refunded $8 shipping for our "trouble" I wish I would have read these reviews before ordering. Never again!
