My son religiously pops a bubble each day when he returns home from work. Without your bubble calendar, I would have to fashion one up myself, at great frustration. So Uncommon Goods offers us a compact, fun-filled activity certain to make any household function better. Just wish the price were less!
So I used to buy from this site - used to. Last order, the snuck in a "perks" membership. By the time I see my credit card bill to pay - it's past the 30 days to cancel. This is just fraud. Memberships should be a proactive choice, not a sneaky charge. I'm done with this company.
Don't trust them on when they will deliver the package. Paid the premium to have two day delivery. Only to find the tracking from Fed Ex it will be there the 3rd day. It was not packaged and delivered to Fed Ex for an entire day. What's up. If they can do it, then don't offer.
I paid for 2 business day delivery ($19.99) and received an order confirmation that my package should arrive the 19th. We have been quarantined since it began and decided to enjoy my moms birthday together and give her the present that was meant to cheer her days up a bit. I check shipping today because it's clearly already late and was only shipped out yesterday, already 4 days late. Anyway tracking says it wont arrive until the 27th. 8 days behind schedule. I contact customer service and have the audacity to tell me its early by their standards because their system shows a delivery date as late as the 29th! What in the actual $#*!? I paid for a service they offered me but clearly can't provide.

I made an order on July 24th for a Personalized Family Canoe Art for my parents 65th birthday, It is now September 10th. I have no information about my product. I haven't been able to get in touch with anyone regarding my issue. An "artist' was suppose to create the photo within 1-2 business days it took about 20 business days only for it to come back wrong. Finally someone fixed and is suppose to send me the final product but I haven't heard anything form anyone. I have no idea if my order will even be shipped or arrive and I spent all that money. Please do not buy from this company - they are horrible!

OMG - they have the worst delivery service, and I do not recommend or would ever buy from UncommonGoods again. I could pick up and deliver on foot faster than UncommonGoods. The Uncommon is there delivery service - probably heel/toe delivery service before the wheel was invented.

So my wife ordered a book, MegaDad, which is a personalized comic book. Meaning, they insert a given name on the book title and insert it throughout the story. This was a gift ordered in November. It arrived just before the Holidays. The problem wasn't the delivery, but that the personalization was non existent. Every where the "personalized name" was to be, instead had no name at all. We contacted customer service and they apologized and said they'd take care of it and send the correct version out. Mistakes happen, and we were fine with them fixing the error. Today, we received the "updated" book, only to see that again it was not personalized with the given name in the book. Very frustrating and we will ultimately not deal with this company again.

I ordered the cat kicker and smart robot on 12/11/19. I have sent 4 follow up emails to check on order status with no return emails sent by the company with any response. Now 4 weeks out, I plan to contact my credit card company and start the chargeback refund process.

Not only does Uncommon Goods have wonderful and unusual gifts, but their service department is second to none. Case in point, I ordered a personalized book for a young child's Christmas from Uncommon Goods. When the book arrived it was so delightful and charming and beautifully illustrated that I ordered an additional two books to give as gifts. One of the books from the second order was lost in the mail and I was worried it wouldn't be found in time to give as a Christmas gift. I called Uncommon Goods and they placed a new order for me, no questions asked, and made sure that I received this new order in time for Christmas. A true delightful company to do business with and one I shall continue using.
I placed an order for 3 Christmas gifts on December 10,2019. One gift arrived. The other 2 were backordered when I called to check on them today. When I placed the order, they did not show backordered, nor did I get an email letting me know that they would not arrive until January 9th, 2020. Had I not called I would not have known they wouldn't be delivered by Christmas. This was very disappointing and if you're still waiting on your order, you should give them a call. One customer service associate hung up on me and another told me my money wouldn't be refunded until the order finished processing in January! After asking for a manager, they were magically able to refund my money. Won't buy from them again!

I ordered gifts for four family members on December 13. The delivery date was December 21. I even purchased the membership to get the shipping on time. I called on 12/21 (today) to check on the order and apparently two of the items aren't available and the other two will go out TODAY. The day they were supposed to arrive. I am now out gifts for four of my family members. I will never EVER order from this company again.

I ordered an item for Christmas on Dec 12 and kept receiving emails that it shipped, I finally called the company and won't get it until Dec 27th. I guess shipping has been a disaster and many have not received any items that they ordered before I did.

My order was delivered (a gift) with other people's name on the invoice... and it was to be sent to another person. They wanted the gift recepient to take it to the p/o to return it. I don't even think it is what I ordered. What I chose was bright blue colors... she received gray. Customer service said we had to return it so they can figure out if we got the wrong item. I really don't care. Won't order from them again. What is uncommon is their poor customer service and care in sending items out. I will never order from them again.

I ordered Game of Phones as gift. The order shipped promptly, but got lost in the USPS system. When I contacted UncommonGoods Customer Service they quickly solved the problem.

I purchased a streatch yoga wheel for my granddaughters birthday. When she opened it the cork surface had bamboo leaves on it. The one I purchased had mandala on tje surface. I will not purchased anything from this site again.

Spent quite a bit of money there for Christmas, but one item I could no longer click on. It became available again a few days later, but it was Christmas and New Years. I called to ask if they could still add it to my order so I wouldn't have to pay shipping charges AGAIN for an item I wanted but couldn't order and that shipping charges cost more than the item. They refused to make any exceptions. Will not buy from them again.

Artwork was NOT shipped on time and is not being delivered on time for the event - actually at this writing, UPS says delivery will be 5 days after the latest date promised. After numerous emails and phone calls from me to Uncommon Goods confirming that it would be delivered before the event, it will NOT be (even though I paid for 3 day shipping). At first, I was just told sorry, it was shipped late and will not arrive as promised - they said the artist sent it out late. Uncommon Goods said there was nothing they could do about it until one supervisor in custom products - Maleeza *******542, x2488) said she would have the artist redo the painting and ship overnight. I was so thankful and happy but this never happened. It was never redone or shipped. Terrible and heartbreaking for all the people flying in from around the country to be at this event to give this gift, shame on Uncommon Goods and its artist.

My $300+ order got stuck at a Fed Ex hub and they couldn't have cared less. No one helped, no management addressed it - not one supervisor reached out, while my packages languished and Fed Ex wouldn't let me pick them up. This present was a healing present for someone who suffered a great loss. Then they charged me for a membership! Horrible business, kindness my keester - they're frauds.

I ordered a gift for my girlfriend for valentine's day. It was supposed to come by the 11th. I get an email saying it would arrive on the 15th, a day late. I ask about getting my shipping refunded. Then on the 15th when it doesn't arrive I call them only to find out that it is no longer coming to me at all so now instead of a late valentine's day gift, I have none.

It took them 10 days to ships something to me for Christmas. Of Course it came after Christmas. You would think that would make it a priority for items purchased before Christmas. I Just received it on the 27th.
I wouldn't buy from these guys again. They are not focusing on the consumer.
I made an online order after business hours. I accidentally added an additional item of what I was ordering. I called but they were closed. I called the next morning. I was told my order was already being processed, though it hadn't left the warehouse.
They have no mechanism to stop the order once the processing had started. I was told I would have to wait for my item to arrive and than send it back to them.
So it finally arrived and I was just told I will have to wait 2 days for them to email me the email containing my shipping label, than 5 to 7 business days to get my money back. On top of having to make time during the day to mail it back.
Furthermore the supervisor was kind of rude to me.
The fact that they can't cancel or amend an order before the items left the warehouse (just several hours after I made the order) is ridiculous. I never want to order from them again and I suggest you do the same.

Ordered a birthday gift for a friend. Received it in a timely manner,, it was packed expertly so it came in good condition. Couldn't ask for better service, this is the second order I have done through this site and I was also happy with that order. I believe it is a great site with good service.

I called to cancel an order within two hours of placing it online. After being told by customer service that they couldn't find my order, I was placed on hold. The agent then returned on the line and told me the order was cancelled and I would receive an email confirmation the next day and that my card would be refunded. After more than a week, no email and no refund.
So I called again today and was told that they didn't have my order in their system, yet they have charged my card $681.49! As they don't have my information, they can't refund the amount. Can you believe this? The agent finally suggested that maybe my card was scammed - this after I told her I was looking at the transaction on PayPal as we were speaking. In hindsight, she was right. My card was scammed and this company is the scammer. Stay away from Uncommon Goods. They are uncommonly terrible.

It’s true that we don’t assign confirmation numbers to canceled orders, but we do (typically) email customers to confirm that we’ve canceled the order. We’ll follow up with the representative who canceled your order to reiterate the importance of this practice.
We voided your transaction in our billing system immediately after canceling the order. It sometimes takes a bit of time for the bank to remove a charge from a customer’s account and sadly, we can’t predict how quickly or slowly a given bank will act. Voiding a transaction tends to speed up the process of getting customers’ funds returned vs. posting a credit. I can confirm that we have not charged you for anything. When a transaction is voided, the charge is simply removed.

They said it shipped on Nov 30th. Said it would be delivered no later than Dec 15th. Gave a tracking #. USPS never received the package. Needless to say, the package did not arrive by the 15th. If I could give a 1/4 star only, i would.

I ordered the "map of our hearts" which looks beautiful. I ordered it 30 days prior to when I need it for our silver anniversary. When ordered, the site says a proof will be sent in 1 to 2 business days. Four days went by an no proof. I called and was told the next day I'd have it. Another week and no proof. Then I was told I likely wouldn't get the gift until too late but "I can just say it's on the way." Seriously? Can you imagine showing a picture of our 25th anniversary gift and saying "it's on the way?" No one seems to care. Terrible customer service. Very disappointing.

Ordered an item from here for Christmas as a gift. It was shipped in a quick manner and no issues with delivery. However, the item itself was not what was expected - not a problem; do as normal people do and return. I initiated a return on the 27th and was given a label. Sent back the item on the 28th of Dec to find that UncommonGoods uses UPS Mail Innovations for shipping - which is literally the slowest shipping service you can get. So here we are now on the 9th of January, the package has still yet to be delivered to them which means that no matter what, refund won't be issued until probably late next week - if not the week after. In today's day and age, 2-3 weeks for a refund is unacceptable. Will never order from this site again. Customer service was not bad - but definitely not helpful. In terms of e-commerce, this is about as bad a site as you can order from. I would advise against ordering from here.
