We had awesome customer service and no issues whatsoever, unlike previous place. My son received his crabs within 18 hours of ordering them, they are alive and healthy and he is so happy, will only use them from now on.
If feel dumb and deceived for trusting this website and shame on me for not looking at reviews before I ordered. I surprised my wife with a Tokay Gecko, was so excited and relieved him with in 24 hrs of ordering. Upon arrival he was extremely skinny and very underweight. Being reptile owners we were upset but sprung into action and did everything possible to bring him back. He was 12 inches and only weighed 68gr. Being that long and age he should have been close to 120g at least. Not knowing anything about his living conditions prior we just figured of course they didn't feed them well. We got him in his enclosure and gave him about 4-5 days to acclimate to his home. During the time we gave him crickets, supermorms and roaches. He would strike but not eat or put it in his mouth shake and spit them out. After day 5 we decided to take the chance and get him out. We'd get him to open his mouth and toss in a worm here and there. We thought it was a win because he ate them. The problem after handling him he was so weak so we'd put him back and give him a couple days. This went on for a day short of a month when he passed away while trying to feed him. My heart breaks because we pour 1000% into our babies and we could not save him. We thought he was getting better and moving more but in the end we believe he was just hanging onto a string. I feel so sad, mad and down right heart broken about losing Arceus. He will forever be a God to us but we will never tell anyone to buy from Underground reptiles and will be deleting anything to do with them. NEVER BUY FROM THEM EVER!

I was shipped an adult red-eye tree frog from underground reptiles. After moving him into my 36 gallon enclosure with my two healthy green tree frogs, the frog was dead on the floor within 48 hours. When contacting them about it, they say they guarantee "live arrival and visibly healthy" but say they have no responsibility for "how the frog is cared after arrival". You can't tell if a frog is actually sickly or just adjusting to the new setting until at least a few days of having them. I explain my part to their support and instead of working things out with me, they ignore my emails until I take the "store credit" and shut up. If you're gonna buy online, go to Backwater...Underground is cheaper for a reason.

Just know you're taking a risk of getting a sick frog every time you order and will NOT get all of your money back if they screw you.
A smooth and stress-free process from start to finish. Both turtles arrived alive, healthy, and active. They are currently exploring their new home and we can't stop watching!

Ordered a baby giant day gecko that my 4 year old affectionately named "Bob". This was my first time ordering an animal on the internet, as normally I would go to the local pet store, but I knew I wanted a CB baby, and with pet stores it's hard to feel confident with what you are getting. In any case, Bob is happy and healthy, and is already eating!(I have read that sometimes it is difficult to get them to feed after being shipped)

I ordered the antilles pink toe tarantula for my dad for Father's Day. He's big on Tarantulas so this was the perfect gift. He's going to fall in love when he home from work tonight. Got my beautiful snake baby shipped right to my door less than 24 hours after I ordered her. Only knocked off 1 star for packaging as I felt like it should have been a bit more substrate or probably a better option layered paper towels to pad any possible bumps or drops that could happen during transport, as that is standard shipping practice for inverts (like tarantulas), however this was my first time having a reptile shipped to me and I have never packaged and shipped a reptile before so it is possible I am worrying for nothing, but that is what photos are for.

Veiled chameleon came looking fine and healthy but quickly declined in health and died within five days of arrival. We reached out to the company and they took forever to respond and when they did we had already purchased a healthy new veiled chameleon with a health guarantee. Underground reptiles replied back after the fact and offered reduced shipping and reduced price on a new one but no thank you. I like my pets to be healthy and alive... buyers beware!

It honestly pains me to make this review, Im a huge fan of underground reptiles and have spent hundreds of dollars with them. However when everything goes there way and 1 thing does not go mine, they do no hesitate to give zero $#*!s. I had 200$ store credit from a while back and the day I decided to use it... they claim it as invalid saying that It doesn't belong to my email and to use a different email which unfortunately for me I have no idea which email I could have used. And instead of compensating or helping me they straight out did not care. And if they do care enough to respond they are probably going to give a smart $#*! answer or continue to not help the situation or let alone a loyal customer. Have a good day.

I bought 3 blue iguanas from this company paid 320$ for them and 2 of them recently passed away only had them for 9 days I messaged numerous people and they also say this company is known for selling sick animals to people and I heard of other people personal experiences with them. I emailed the company about them sending me sick iguanas and they kept asking question but my set up was perfect how it should be for them my other iguanas I bought before used the same setup and are perfectly fine this company has no quality control at all and what they did to fix it they told me I can buy another at their whole sale cost with reduced shipping to what send me a "healthy one" they offered no full refund or another iguana. Will never do business with them and I'm warning everyone about this company.

Our customer service team member, Amanda, called you at 4:03 PM on 6/10 after she saw the animals had been delivered to you to see how they arrrived. We conduct followup calls on every single animal shipment to ensure the animals arrived fine. You did not answer and we were unable to leave a message since your voicemail is not setup. The next time we heard from you about the animals was not until 6/19/20 when you reported that one of the iguanas had passed away. We asked you to fill out our order issue report, which you did. We did have a few recommendations for your setup and the types of food you were feeding but the bottom line was that no issue was reported when your animals arrived. You must understand that when dealing with live animals and shipping them, we can only guarantee live, visibly healthy arrival. After an animal is out of our care and in the care of another person it is impossible to guarantee it. In your case, you were caring for these animals for 9 days before you contacted us to report any type of issue. If the animals you received were bad to begin with then why would you wait 9 days to report any type of issue? We are still more than happy to extend a discounted replacement to you.
If you do some research this website is terrible they underfeed their reptiles and keep them in cages much too small I bought a green tree python it ended up dying 10 days later offering nothing but a discount on my next order you can guarantee I won't be a returning customer

Don't get me wrong I love my axolotls, BUT one has an extremely crooked spine. The only thing I could find of it is that, that's a sign of extensive inbreeding. I've contacted support and they said it's fine. I'm not sure if it'll cause the animal issues in the future, but I'm disappointed. (Images are when I feed them they don't live in that small tub)
Worst experience ever! Frogs listed as being in stock. Ordered and paid - including the $45 overnight shipping. Received confirmation of the order, that it was being processed, notification that a shipping label had been created along with a shipping and delivery date. The day of shipping, got notified they ran out of stock. This has now happened twice - and they don't refund your money or give you priority if/when stock comes in. Fraudulent business practice! Buyer beware! Reporting to BBB!

Worst place to buy a snake I bought an emerald tree boa 4 months ago and it refused to eat and hasn't really done much of anything and really in bad shape and they didn't seem to give a f**k about anything cause they got their money pretty sure it will be dead if the next month cause it is skin and bones. What ever you do go with a better reptile store they are not a good choice to buy from

My boyfriend and I purchased a bearded dragon who came to us with a respiratory infection and once we got a call back from the vet found out that her uric acid levels were double what they should be and her calcium levels were not right either. We contacted them to resolve this and possibly compensate for the vet bills but was told it was our fault for not contacting them right away about her problems when they say the animal will be healthy and alive on arrival. This place does not take proper care of the animals it has and will not help to resolve any issues with the animals that they have willingly sent out sick. Disgusting place and I would not take store credit to purchase here again.

Our blue Iguana arrived looking thin and dehydrated but we were optimistic and thought it was due to the trip. We gave her food water and left her alone for 24 hours. She was lethargic and did not eat or drink. We hand fed her and gave her vitamins but she continued to look lethargic. Despite our best efforts she died on day 5. They did not even respond to my email. Will not order from here ever again.

Underground Reptiles is the type of business that gives the industry a black eye. I brought in a valuable snake for them to make an offer on. They sold it right out from under me and paid me $0.00. I have also purchased from them and half the animals die. I have no words strong or polite enough to describe how horrible this place is.
Do not buy from these people. That will not back up their products and blame everything on the virus or anything not to resolve the issue. Drew was extremely disrespectful saying I was trying to take advantage of the
Situation. Since I'm in my 80's I'm filing a claim under the elder abuse law covered in NC. It not against underground it's against Drew.

My son saved for quite some time to purchase two red eye tree frogs. They arrived alive as guaranteed but not healthy. We followed their protocol upon discovering their were not right. They gave us quite the run around to show the animals were not well. We were treated poorly and they do not treat their customer properly. We were not able to speak with anyone in upper mgt or ownership to discuss our problem. We spent roughly $90.00 their resolution for two dead animals one less than 24 hours and the other in 48 hours was to give us another frog at no cost and the second at a whole sale rate. We were expected to pay the additional shipping for the new animals as well. Or a credit for $25.00. We were told amphibian can be sensitive and things can happen. Please learn from our bad experience DO NOT BUY HERE.

I received my baby Florida soft shell in poor conditions. It wouldn't eat and barely moved. I noticed reddish bubble like pockets on the bottom of the shell then it began to rip. It looks like he also may have shell rot. I informed underground reptiles about the issues. They didn't want to hear me out at all. They insisted he was in perfect health. They have definitely lost a customer.

I ordered three red eyed tree frogs and one came in dead, while the other two were very malnourished and beat up. I've worked for years in reptile care, and I recognized immediately that these animals were kept in poor condition. There were bruised, thin, and after less than a week another of the frogs has died. After I posted a review it was removed without any reason given, and Underground reptiles insisted that the frogs were in good condition.

Both animals arrived alive, but our ball python isnt doing very well. No heat amenities were offered to the animals. The scorpion is ok! However the ball python is ice cold. I have her on heat now and trying to rehabilitate but she's very cold. Disappointed and expect more care to be taken no matter the price of an animal. I'm giving 3 stars because at least she did not arrive dead. Less than desirable experience for my first ever online order. Usually purchase my reptiles at expos.
