My husband purchased a jacket and unfortunately misplaced the receipt. Uniqlo will only allow an exchange for the same jacket in a different size/color. No merchandise credit towards something else. Who does that in this day and age with other companies offering much better customer service. We will not be buying from them ever again to be sure!
I returned the items following their instructions. Items have been received as per the tracking but Uniqlo are claiming otherwise. After over a month of disputes, luckily I had paid by Paypal to who I sent all evidence in hands (receipts, photos, and communications) so I opened a case against them. Uniqlo sent me an email stating that they'll will not refund me unless I close the case with PayPal, the crooks. Luckily, PayPal rules in my favour and got all my money back. Thanks to Paypal.
FYI, Uniqlo online is a separate company and management that Uniqlo stores. If you are adamant to buy Uniqlo products, shop in their stores and avoid Uniqlo online like the plague.
Tip for consumers:
Avoid Uniqlo Online.

Items and sizes were not as described on the website. Way too big. So all have been returned. The struggle of dealing with Uniqlo staff is like nothing that I have experienced before. They are stupid scammers.
After back & forth with the Uniqlo UK, I was told I would have to actually return to the Stuttgart Germany store where it was purchased. With receipts, correspondence & defective jacket in hand, I returned to find no willingness to make it right. The manager covered her name tag & refused to give her name. Our family has purchased at least 12 jackets from them, but rest assured, we will NEVER buy anything else from Uniqlo! Junk!
Cheap clothes, horribly customer service.
We are avid customers and purchase a lot of stuff from Uniqlo regularly for the part 10 - 12 years.
In march 2022, we purchased over £600 worth of clothes combined out of which I had 3 pairs of jeans for myself that I got altered. They costed me £100.
The material is soft but the threads keep peeling off and are very visible when worn.
Hardly used 1 or twice each or washed barely, within 3 months I filled their online form in June with zero response from them, called them in July to which the CS agent stated they don't have any records and asked me to send proofs with a picture of jeans in full, the threads ripped, the wash label, the product code label, the receipt, how many times I washed them, how many time I wore them.
Upon repeatedly stating the quality of all 3 pairs is bad and I need a replacement or refund. The CS rep called Vimal, and simply said your case is rejected and we don't see a fault with the pictures you sent us.
He just gave me a link to complain to the ombudsman.
I have asked to speak to a senior manager and escalate my case, only for him to repeatedly email me back with a copy-paste response.
They refuse to call me back or help me further. I will be taking the complaint further.
My whole family won't be buying from them ever again. They've clearly lost loyal customers over just £100 worth of refunds for their faulty products.
I hope people read this review and also see other reviews for Uniqlo which also shows they are selling cheap quality clothes and ripping people off.
