These guys have pretty much every business in the US. Sometimes you get a full bus profile and other times you need to dig deeper on the web, but the phone numbers, hours of operation, etc are accurate. In many cases, I've reached out to a business and the owner has gotten back to me. Once you create your account, you can communicate directly with the merchants, post reviews, whatever.
The company called my business promised that for 5 dollars a month our website would receive traffic. They never mentioned that the month after they would secretly try to charge 140. When I tried to call them back the number they provided was to a Lawn Service company. Fortunately I was able to contact my credit card carrier to deny them the charge. And my website only had 8 hits most directly from Google. Awful company

Read some reviews. Had the same experience where they called me before my company even opened and said about $5 per month to list and improve listing on google and other sites. When I was charged $90 less than 2 months after signing up, I called to find out the charge and try to cancel service. They will not refund and said I already signed to agree on the $0.25 per "reference" with daily cap of $5. My site "traffic report" on US directory shows there are more than 10 thousand "reference" from Sep 7 to Oct 7. Who knows what reference means. The number is fake for a few reasons. First my company just opened on Oct 3 and second I use google search console to keep track of clicks and impressions. The number is way out. Furthermore, there is no detail analysis such as daily report to support the amount charged. She refuse to explain further and repeated the same thing: we cannot refund for services already provided. Will dispute the amount with my credit card company
They are very discreet about how they will charge you. In a month a receive no clients, however U. S directory said over 200 people view my page. Every view is. 25 cents. Plus a 5.99 monthly payment. Which ended up to be over $150 dollar charge plus the monthly fee. Do not do it! It's a scam and won't help your business grow. Oh furthermore, the company had the audacity to call me again to see if I wanted a 4.99 deal (sounds like 5 dollars). However the lady lower her voice... which was actually 499.99. Thank god I listened closely and sent them away. Do Not Do It I repeat.
I had just set up a Google My Business profile when they called, and lied to me about being an agent assigned to me from Google. Told me they could put my business at the top, and promote it for $5 a month, so I thought "that's not bad." They are currently trying to take $97 put of my account, because apparently they charge you 25 cents per reference. The sight claims I have almost 3000 references from them, which is laughable, because I haven't received any calls, emails, or messages from customers through US directory. They will lie to you just to get your card info.

Tip for consumers:
It looks like they offer paid services to businesses, I don't know about those - I can only speak for the their consumer website.
Was told it was free or very affordable, the third month in im told my $99 charge was for $90 min. Then 25 cents per view-thats 16 views for $99! I quickly called them and explained what was wrong and they kept putting me off saying someone would call to clear things up. They never did and after a week and three calls they stopped answering my phone. My bank says they are scammers who change their name frequently. PLEASE STAY AWAY!
God has been faithful to me and my business! After passing on my credentials to some agent name Miguel, I was awaiting a confirmation email. In the interim I decided to look up the phone number he provided for customer service and to my surprise that number was no where to be found on Google. I immediately got suspicious. Then I received a confirmation email from USDirectory.com, not Yellow Pages. Some chills went up my spine.
I called my bank immediately and asked them to block my credit card. I'd rather $5 be gone than $500. Now a Gina is trying to follow-up with me through my company number.
This is just sad.
Us directory is a real company, I have more than one working with them, it has given me very good results in my local area, I offer cleaning services and I have many clients, I started paying $ 5 for a month and then 49.95 monthly and I have not had any problem, thank you very much to this company
I did sign up before researching. However the red flag was when I could not log into my dash board. I called several times and got the same story but it never worked. I then went to the reviews and got terrified. I did call and cancel my service with them. Waiting to see if it actually gets cancelled. Do not do business with them. They have earned their low reviews here. Run while you can.
Tip for consumers:
If it sounds too good to be true it is. They are great at taking your money and not so good at providing the service.
They told me it was going to be $5 a month for their service they took $95 dollars out of my account.
Never send me the email like they said
I try to message them over and over
No one has got back to me.
Total scam
About a year ago I started with USD and I was set on pay per reference package which is the $. 25 cents per reference. I was a start up company and could not afford this although I called customer services the next day after setting up and the representative was so nice and polite. She offered me a flat rate package of just $29.95 per month to just get my feet wet a little and try out the company. I agreed after doing my quarterly report I seen such a growth in business. This is an amazing services and I would recommend it to any one of my colleagues.
They called me and went through their whole script. Almost leaving no room to make decisions. In the end I did some research while on the phone and told them I would pass on their services. They asked why and I asked if they've seen their reviews online? They hung up on me. That was very professional. They didn't even make an effort to change my mind lol
Contacted USD because I wanted to confirm pricing and make sure the business was not a scam. USD has different packages to help all budgets. When they offered services to me they did explain that the $5.00 charge is a monthly fee and if I want advertisement to be placed out it would have to be one of the following packages either $29.95 $49.95 $79.95 OR THE $99.95. They also explained the package the call PPR which is $5.00 a month plus $0.25 per reference (when ever the listing appears) with and ADJUSTIABLE daily spending cap. The email explained everything and I just didn't read it carefully enough. They helped me stay in budget and helped me gain lots of business. I have been with them for 4 months and so far not a single problem.
I got a call from them and while "Alex Garcia" was giving me his whole spiel I decided to google them. When I told him there are bad reviews online and people are calling it a scam he said no you must be looking at the wrong company. I told him I saw the whole script on here with the $5 and the $. 25 cent thing and he hung up on me. So 100% a scam
Scammer misrepresented himself as an employee of Google, then told me I had to pay $49.95 to place my biz on Google search results.
I'm working with my CC company to remove this charge and any future charges.
Also; The other scam operators at this company called me 6 times within 3 hours!
STAY AWAY! LIARS!
I do not have any idea about their online advertising. But when i took advantage their promos i've an increased of clientles because my customers saw my appearance as a Certified Mobile Notary Agent. Thanks to my marketing associates!
They tried to convince me that I have only today as a deadline to get listed and when I said I would like to take some time to review the package, they said "We will remove your listing right away!" and hung up.
Totally unprofessional and an outsourced scam
I got a phone call for them on July 15,2019. They want to help my business get moved up by multiple search engines. They say it is month to month. You can cancel any time you want. Initially I say yes. Then I decide the same day about 1 hour later to cancel. And I was met with resistance and that I had made a contract with them. Also that I owed them $1500. 00 for cancelling the contract. I am in dispute with them NOW!. Don't even talk to US Directoroty or US Local Director. They both called me.
Tip for consumers:
These call came immediately after I launched my new website.
When "Robert", the agent who barely understands English tried to read his sales pitch to me, he dropped the call at least five times before he got to the part where he told me he was going to charge $5 per monty and $, 25 per time someone "looks for keywords for my business" I told him I wasn't paying for directory services. No sooner than I said that he hung up the phone again. When I called him back, he refused to pick up the phone and set my phone number to be automatically disconnected.
For what I hear, everyone else who fell for this sales pitch was charged higher than $80 per month, with the exception of a few, most likely fake, reviews of the company.
They are a fraud! They are full of lies and they don't even put up any ads I've never seen not one of my up. Luckily they don't live far from me so I will be paying them a visit. They stay at Ponce de Leon blvd.
At first i i had a doubt when it comes providing my business information and especially my card information over the phone. But when the rep explained to me everything including the spectacular features and benefits, i didn't mind the price of it coz it doesnt matter if i will be charged hundred $$$$ as long as they provide me good results, it is ok and i think they do. Thanks for the help US Directory.
My experience with USDirectory and account rep Robert, was great.
Their product is easy to use (in fact I didnt have to anything really) and delivered results that I could see online. With Robert's help I added a coupon to my site/profile and actually got a few customers ask me about it. The services received were as promised, and any questions I had their customer service helped me with.
I made a post on Cragslist and after minutes Local Directory called me asking me to confirm my information because it would be the last step to get started with CRAGSLIST. I asked them more then one time if they were from Cragslist and they said they were my account manager. It happened yesterday 10/18/2019 today I woke up and checked my credit card and they charged me 4 times already. I will definitely put them on their spot! (Lawsuit is the way to stop it)
I've been with usdirectory for almost 8 months now, there services is getting better everyday. The more i update my listing with usdirectory the more times I've seen my directory on the first page. I have more than business to handle and now thinking of opening a new store. - John Regala (Owner Regal Films)
I was going to sign up with this company. Someone called back and said I need to pay for something else when I was told the price was $5 a month. I told them to cancel everything. They just went into my account and took out 155 dollars. I did not agree to this. I am reporting it to the better business and my bank. People is always scamming and trying to get over.
