If I could give NO STARS I would! I recieved an offer for my iPod on 1/12/2024. Recieved my shipping kit no problems and sent in my device. Thats where things went wrong. It is now 2/13/2024. They have had my device a WHOLE MONTH and still no payment! I have written angry emails and all I get back is "2 business days". LIES! Still no payment!

I had to way two week for the shipping pack when they said 4 days.
I sent my phone in but cant track it, I sent them and the buyer messages haven't gotten a reply yet.im waiting on check switch might not be much. I'm just saying do your research before you plan on doing anything.
Usell.com is a scam. Two weeks since my iPhone arrived and my account states "3-5 days for payment." The only option for contact is *******@usell.com and nobody ever replies. Seeing all these bad reviews, it would make sense to consider a class action lawsuit. I plan on following up. Usell.com is a scam, do not use them.
Usell is horrible! I sent the wrong phone and wanted to get it back. I've sent dozens of emails all I get back is computer generated messages. I've called there so call 800 number NO RESPONSE! They say they get to within 24 hours that's a LIE! I've contacted the better business department let's see where this goes. Usell is SCAM. They have my phone close to 10 days
Tip for consumers:

I mailed a like new condition iPhone 8 to USell on 9/1/19. Their automated system shows it was received on 9/6. Since this time I have received zero feed back on my device or any sort of payment. I have attempted on 6 occasions to contact USell however all calls and email have been ignored.
Please do yourself a favor and stay away from this company. They are running a scam.
Just got my check today, for $3.00. The problem is, I sent 10 units, I should have been paid $30.00. I took the time to check each one and made sure it met every requirement. Filled out the paper work on line ( would only permit 1 unit entry on form). Enclosed packing slip, indicating 10 units. Got e mail asking if i wanted the deal, said, no, i sent 10 units, got $3.00 any way.
Long story short, find other dealers to sell to, this one is no good.

This was a horrific experience, i was given a quote of about 100$ for my iphone i thought why not and decided to ship it to them, after almost 2 weeks i got the mailing packet finally and shipped it to them, no email no calls nothing for 2 weeks again, when i contact them myself they told me we sent u a check for 9$, i said what is 9$ i was quoted 100 and got the most vague excuse about the market going up and down and my phone has a scratch here or there basically saying total bs, i demanded my phone back and they said no read the terms and conditions which is longer then the declaration of independence right... people need to be aware of this scam and avoid usell unless you want to send them your valuable phone for free.
Throw your phone away. Easier and cheaper than trying to send it to these people. They claim they'll give you... $50! $45! Maybe $30!
Oh, but when you mail it to them something's amiss... every time..."oh- so sorry, your phone is worth $1, accept our offer or we'll ship it back."
Fraud, fraud, fraud.
Sent my phone in a month again and still haven't heard back from them, I got an email saying turn my iPhone tracker off witch I thought was sketchy but did it anyway. Still no answer i don't know what's up with them I want my money or my phone back seriously this is ridiculous shaking my head!
My wonderful son, who was a vent-dependent quadriplegic for almost 30 years, died and I sent his old ipod to usell. Got the email that they'd received the box but over two weeks later I had received nothing more. I send in a request the it be looked into and received back a notice that I'd sent them a iphone6 instead of the ipod. This so did not happen. Then they tell me that they have no market for an iphone6 and they will recycle it for. Me. I told them that I want my ipod back and they shouldn't try to rip off little old grieving ladies! Let's see if I ever hear another word!
I wish I would've read reviews prior to sending in my iPad mini. It worked fine, almost perfect condition but after sending in, recd msg that there was a slight imperfection so only worth $1.00! What a joke! Next time I'll take my next device and get more pleasure by smashing it!
This is a good website. I used them once before, but after checking around I was able to get better money for my items somewhere else. They are a comparison website so you are not selling to them so maybe that is why some people here have had problems using them, but if you consider what they do, they do it well.
Order was filled quickly. Assembly of item from stepladder was difficult for me. Difficult to judge distance up close with only one eye. However the assembly was completed from good directions. No other problems were encountered.
I sent in a damaged phone back in early Sept and now more than a month later and still waiting for a response IT shows received, however there is no response to multiple e-mails asking for a status update. I can't find any other way to contact them, seems to be a complete rip-off.
ETA: I contacted them again yesterday after posting this review and then this morning a payment had been issued! No response to any of my e-mails, however something certainly got them to issue a payment response. They received my phone on 9/3/19 and payment was finally received on 10/8/19. Updating my review from 1 star to 2 stars.
They have no control over their buyers. I sent my phone in over one month ago, the "buyer" has never replied to my emails. Usell confirmed they received my phone, one week after they actually received it, confirmed the condition one week later and claimed they had PayPal problems and would send me a check. I said there are no reported PayPal issues online and offered Venmo or Zelle as alternates. After 3 days they send me an email saying they sent payment today and all should be resolved. They only sent $1.50 of the $343 contracted to send me. They work with fraudulent buyers. Save the headache and sell elsewhere.
Mailed my good condition iPhone 6 to uSell with the agreement of $75 if it was in good condition. Phone was received 9/11/2019. After several days of no response, I sent a message to customer service. Since that time I have sent several inquires to customer service as well as phone calls to the company during business hours, and I have not received a response. I will also mention that their website does not have a phone number or address listed. I had to search to find the company information. I am considering filing a complaint with the State of New York.
USell ripped me off. I sent a perfect iPhone 5 and quoted a decent amount of money. They stated I had not erased the Find My iPhone app but I had. I tried calling but there is no telephone number, they recommended email. I emailed five different times but without a response. I requested in the last email to mail my phone back. No response. Now, they are going to give me 1/10th of what I was quoted. Rip off!
My phone was in good condition. The website offered me $45. I mailed it in and they said it was damaged - so they offered me $1! I had read the reviews and thought - well my phone is in good condition - I won't believe those reviews! Liars they are! Believe the reviews! I am so mad! I'd rather donate it than have them pay me a buck! Shame on you Usell!
Overall, the only thing I was disturbed was the pay for my iPod. It was a brand-new device, never been used, but you guys downgraded it to being "fair" device. That was very disappointing as at that time really needed the funds.

The site was really easy to use and select the correct options for me. Shipping was free and they paid the amount agreed upon. Took a few weeks, but it was completed. Got $81 for my iPhone, which isn't much in my opinion. But it was the easiest way to sell it for me.
USell offered the best price compared to the many other used electronics marketplaces I explored. Once I accepted their offer, the process of sending in my device and getting paid was super easy. I was able to login and check the progress of the process at anytime, and received my payment within the expected timeframe. I definitely had a positive experience and would recommend uSell to anyone.
Exactly 1 week after they received my phone, they issued payment. And it was the amount originally offered on the website estimator.
Sold my iPhone and iPad at an acceptable price and was paid through venmo very quickly.
