I made an online purchase from this site on 4/15/15. An Email was received stating the part was not available. My account was credited for the full amount of the purchase. On the same day my account was also charged twice for 2 large amounts and a 3rd charge was made for merchandise.
The site looks legitimate, but has no reviews and nobody answered the posted number.
On April 15,2015, Valve Warehouse received an order from this customer, however, we did not have the item in stock. The customer requested to cancel the order, and we refunded him the full amount. After the customer notified us of being charged for amounts unrelated to the order, we immediately had our Accounting Department conduct an internal investigation. They were unable to find any evidence linking these charges to our company. Furthermore, our website has the same high level encryption used by major banks with a 128-bit SSL certificate and Level 1 PCI DSS compliance. We are confident that when our customers shop on our website, they can shop safely and securely.
Valve Warehouse takes the privacy and security of our customers’ information very seriously. We will continue to work with this customer and take any appropriate actions needed to reassure him and all of our customers that we are a safe and honest website.
