I bought the pinkish dress with the black embroidered flowers on the front. It's a tulip shape and made of a tulle fabric. I could not have been happier in a purchase, fit, comfort, feel, and style. My only problem is I may not find another occasion to wear it! It was prompt, true to size and just lovely. I would not hesitate to order from Venus again. I also picked some other dresses from on line companies that say they do returns but will not. All from China. I will from now on always check reviews and give this a 5 star!
I have ordered many swimsuits from them. Typically nice products; however, some have fallen apart, turned strange color, etc. They do not ship promptly. Ordered several items on Monday and they did not ship out until Thursday. I will not receive the items in time for a trip now.
This is a phenomenal company. I have always received my order within just days, and they provide free shipping on initial orders, returns and exchanges. If you want or need to return your item, no need to explain why, and the time period in which to do so is vast. When ever I've had an exchange, I've always received the new item within one-two days! Great customer service, this company cares very much about their customer relationships. They will do anything to make their patrons happy.
They need to clearly state what their return policy is. It doesn't say anywhere that if you don't want to participate in their wallet credit you will be charged $6.95 for the label fee. So only after you make a purchase and receive your order, you see the details of what the return will cost.
The clothes are cheaply made for how much they cost. It's very thin and Walmart quality for shirts that were $40. My mistake for ordering from a company I've never heard of. Will be returning everything and will not order from them again.
I paid addition money for faster shipping... to get the shoes by New Years... well guess what? Two weeks later today they came in! Not only did they come in but when I put them on they were the cheapest product with like an inch extra in back when I am a perfect 8.5! I want to return for a refund but God only knows how long that's gonna take! Guess on offer up these junks go
When I order an item from the magazine or online, the quality looks great. But when it arrives after I have ordered it, the material looks nothing like in the photos. I honestly think that they make high-quality stuff for the models to wear, and make cheaper versions to ship out. Also, the restocking fees and shipping label fees when you're doing a return ( because everything I've ordered from there has been made out of low grade material, nothing like what you see in the pictures) are outrageous, makes it to where you hardly get your money back.
I ordered a pair of bottoms recently from the Venus website for 23.99 and upon returning them was only refined 13.95 because of return shipping costs'. Completely unacceptable and their website does not offer the opportunity to place reviews on products that I saw. Would not recommend.

All the negative reviews on here must be from people who don't know good quality. Most of my wardrobe is from here and I love everything I've bought. I've never had to return anything and buy things from this website a few times a month. Highly recommend!
I have ordered 2 tops on this site came in a few weeks exactly as show in the pic, I know some people may have bad experiences when they order but if it only happened the first time don't go crazy about it it happens to everyone.
Can't believe that there are so many bad reviews! I absolutely love this site! Easy to browse, easy to order... my orders usually get to the house earlier than expected. People are complaining about paying 6$ for return shipment? COME ON! Never had to send anything back cause everything fit... I shop online a lot and this is the only site I never had to deal with customer service
I feel that with buying online sometimes you have to send stuff back. Because multiple reasons fit, quality. Venus is terrible with returns. I am waiting on back ordered sandals. Which said on my history were shipped when after almost 3 weeks I finally called and they said it was Back Ordered. Needless to say I was not happy with the way they handled the call even speaking to a supervisor. This is my last purchase for over priced merchandise and poor quality.
Venus merchandise is of poor quality. I expected the fabrics to be a little nicer but all of the items I ordered felt cheap. The fit was off on everything - even between the same items in different colors. My shape is very normal so it's not me, it's them. Weird. AND... when you return items they also deduct for the original shipping if you got a promotional shipping deal. They stated that my order now "fell below the threshold" to receive promotional shipping. Ya it did! It went to $0.00! So they charged me $4.95 for my $0.00 worth of merchandise! Scammers.

I ordered from venus being sceptical about getting clothes online. Mostly I'm a plus size woman and prefer to try clothes on and also not wanting cheap poorly made material. I bit the bullet and ordered 5 dresses. The shipping was extremely fast and to make it all better, every dress fit me perfectly! The material is not cheap at all. I read some reviews, some scared me about being cheaply made, not even the case. I will be ordering again and I also have my friends that loved my dresses and just placed an order for 4 outfits. Hope my review helped anyone that isn't sure to give you peace of mind, you get what you see and the prices are fair.

On occasion I get an item of clothing that doesn't look much like the photos take this sweater for example. In the photos in the magazine and on the website, when it's on the model it shows it being a very lush furry type of sweater. Unfortunately mine looks like a hairless dog with a few little straight fur things sticking out of it. I still love the sweater but I'm just pointing this out. Also I noticed I have to order three hole sizes bigger when I buy closed-toed shoes. I just ordered a pair of booties in size 10 when I'm an 8 and 1/2 and they're still too small. With all that being said this is still the only store besides etsy that I buy clothes from. I will continue.

I am happy with Venus products however, their shipping takes over 3 or 4 weeks which now a day is unacceptable. I can order things in Amazon or other sites and get it in 2 days or sometimes in a day.
If they can't ship to Canada in reasonable amount of time and cost then they better don't claim so.

I admired a friends outfit and she told me about Venus. I decided to give Venus a try. And ordered a dress. The dress came right on time, fit wonderfully, I have now placed 4 additional orders and each has come in record time, I even had a problem with a gift card and the Woman at the help desk was very professional and took care of me and resolved my problem,, Not sure why so many women seem to be unhappy. I have had nothing but Praise for the Venus customer service and the Clothes fit and look great.
I placed a very large order my first time ordering with Venus, over $300. Got free shipping, but paid $5.95 for the two day shipping. I kept only a few of the items, everything else was junk. Some items the material is okay, but most is very cheap, see through, or horribly shaped, especially for the price. I returned approximately $225 of my $300 order, that's how terrible the quality and look was. I read all the bad reviews on using their shipping label, so I paid for my own shipping, which ended up being $17 because of the weight of the box. But anyways, they still charged me for the "use of their shipping label" when I didn't even use it! So basically between shipping that junk back, and then readjusting my return amount through "using their label" and promo code on my order, it cost me roughly $50. That's a lot of money that was wasted just to send back some cheap clothes. I think I'm done shopping with Venus.
The dresses are cute. True to size, but if your are a less tall person, as I am, you better know how to hem or pay a seamstress for alterations. The smallest size in bottoms is a 2. Not a petite 2, but a regular 2 (which feels more like a 4). Also, free shipping, but you are charged for postage on returns AND a restocking fee before you get your refund. Could not find that information anywhere on the return label or website. So, make sure it will fit, so you don't pay to return it, like I did.
I ordered a blouse for my mother, for her birthday. It's been 2 months, and the package still hasn't arrive. I will be filing a Charge back from my credit card company! Worst online retailer I've ever encountered. Do yourself a favor, and avoid doing business with this company Venus.com
Never again! I placed an order on December 12 for 6 items to be delivered to Canada just in time for Christmas or New Year. Today is Jan 9 2017 and I still did not get the order. One of the items is put on hold for Jan 20. I called to complain and they told me they sent me a different email that requested that I pay custom duties in a separate payment. The email got lost in a dozen of other emails that advertise their merchandise. Horrible customer service -they blamed me. Strongly advise not buying from them.
I placed an order online from Venus. I ended up returning all items but the one top I kept which was $39. I now owe more than $50 for this one top! They claim I used their $10 shipping label to return a $19 top and I used my own postage. Their customer service is horrible and they refuse to acknowledge their mistake. There are too many other mail order clothing vendors to be taken advantage by Venus.

Buyer beware. Be especially careful if you need to return anything! They are very unprofessional.
I have ordered from Venus several times over several years. I have never had an issue with their service or most of their products. The reason I did not rate them at 5 stars is because a few things appear cheap in person. I ordered a wedge that the "man made materials" looked really cheap. I would avoid their shoes altogether. Their clothes and swimsuits are very good.
I have been shopping at Venus for a few years. I have probably ordered about eight times total. Besides the one time a rhinestone came off a pair of capri shorts which they sent me a new pair immediately, I have never had an issue with their bathing suits or clothes. I get a lot of compliments. I love Venus because their selection is different from local stores and the prices are fair.

I'm so pissed I was waiting on what Venus calls a jacket for $59! I've spent way less $ at Nordstrom or Macy's that was a designer. I've tried them twice & have not been satisfied. I'm done! The "jacket" is of a see thru material & poorly stitched together. The pockets were stretched & shredded, the back seam was falling apart. The button at the neck was stretched. Don't waste your money.
I ordered with them a couple times. And pay additional shipping to receive early. 1) your lucky if you actually get anything. 2) chances are if you were lucky enough to get your package odds are you did not get the WHOLE package. This has happened numerous times. Now I'm vowing never to shop with them again. They won't notify you of the back order. You're waiting to get your order, packing your things or getting ready for an event and your delivery is short. You don't know when it will arrive. Other than prices that appear to be decent, don't be fooled!, Their clothes are cheap and they look nothing like the pictures. Don't waste your time or money.

I should have known when I had issues right after placing my order. I had a code and emailed customer service and their reply was a terse "it isn't valid anymore" comment and failure to acknowledge my purchase or appreciation as a customer. Fast forward to finally getting my order and needing to send almost all of it back due to quality/sizing issues... I used the convenience tag provided understanding I would lose $6.95. Then I get an email that they added additional fees to my "refund" and I am getting even less. I do not want to give this company my business nor would I recommend them in good faith. They do not care about the customer... only their bottom line.
I love this site. I'm a fairly standard size 8 and I've ordered dresses and sweaters, usually in a medium, from them. I love the quality of the clothing and the prices are crazy for what you get. This has been my go to site this summer. They process orders quickly and despatch promptly (my orders arrived early). I can't comment on customer service because I've never had a problem or had to return anything. That's why I haven't given 5 stars.
