I bought the pinkish dress with the black embroidered flowers on the front. It's a tulip shape and made of a tulle fabric. I could not have been happier in a purchase, fit, comfort, feel, and style. My only problem is I may not find another occasion to wear it! It was prompt, true to size and just lovely. I would not hesitate to order from Venus again. I also picked some other dresses from on line companies that say they do returns but will not. All from China. I will from now on always check reviews and give this a 5 star!
I have ordered many swimsuits from them. Typically nice products; however, some have fallen apart, turned strange color, etc. They do not ship promptly. Ordered several items on Monday and they did not ship out until Thursday. I will not receive the items in time for a trip now.
Beware of this store! I spent more than 200 USD for clothes, which I wanted to send back cause of really low quality and cheap material as well as wrong sizing. I asked them to give me address for return several times (you can't find it on their website) and got a reply: "You know how expensive postage will be, may be you can give the items to your friend etc". After trying many times to contact the store via email, I tried live chat. The answer was: "We are busy, have a nice day!" So, NEVER AGAIN! Thanks got they didn't steal my money from a credit card.
I had already placed an large order for their maxi skirts and then happen to stumble on some of the very negative reviews. I got my first order and the skirts were just like what was online or in the catalog then run a little big so next time I may size down 1 size. I just ordered a couple tops we will see how the quality is. I actually ordered twice and called their live chat and my experience was dead on they looked up the duplicate order thank goodness it didn't ship and they cancelled it immediately. So I would rate them on the high end so far. I have ordered from places on facebook that are cheap and crap. L these prices are in the middle of the range they are not cheap nor expensive but right in the middle
I've been very happy with orders I have made with Venus. I use their sizing charts and have never had problems with my clothes. I am returning a pair of shoes for a half size larger but I should have read The information on the shoes because it clearly states they run a half size small. We shall see how customer service handles it and I will write new review.
I ordered 5 items from their site I was surprised that they did not send me the other dress I ordered, I called and talked to a girl would sounded uninterested and had no clue what she was talking about. She finally said they were going to send me the Dress. Which I was fine with. Then later I received an email saying I have to pay duty and taxes again for the same dress. I did call again only to be told there is nothing they can do about it its a new order according to them. I have to make a claim to get my taxes back. Well if you are think about buying from them brace your self for a big disappointment and terrible customer service. They just lost a customer!
Beware of improper refund amounts after you return an item. If you have a discount of 10 percent on your entire order and then return one item, they will take the 10 percent from your total order and deduct from your one item returned. Sound confusing? It is! And ridiculously improper. In this day and age of making things easy for the customer, VENUS DOES NOT! After over an hour on the phone with them still not satisfied. I will never order from them again. Also $6.95 to return something. Shop most other places and the returns are free.

If you are not happy with your purchase they will make it right. The clothes are not name brand but look like they are. I cant afford to buy super expensive clothes so Venus is my go to for my wardrobe.

Their clothes are nothing like the pictures on the website... they're different material and a very different fit, and I have pretty much the same body type as the models on the website. So I returned what I bought which had costed $22 and they only refunded me back $8. Like what type of scam...? How are you going to send clothes that are completely different from what you advertised and then keep over half of the money when I send it back? Absolute idiocy.

I was a 1st time customer placing an order with Venus and was so excited. I at this point will never order from there online site again due to the fact my credit card was hacked within 24 hours of my order being placed. Thank god for a great card company I am not responsible for the fraudulent activity but I also have to get a new card and had to close my old account and it also requires me to make several phone calls to change auto bill sites that I have. This sucks. So sorry Venus but because of your lack of customer security I will never order from you again.
I've ordered several items from Venus.com; usually during the summer while preparing for vacation. This time I ordered a maxi dress and a 4th of July outfit for my daughter. When it arrived I pulled the items out one by one and was very disgusted by what I held in my hand. Attached to the packaging of the dress was what appeared to be a used tampon. Upon further examination I chalked it up to be a used bandage perhaps from someone who may have cut and wrapped their finger. Either way it was very nasty, unsanitary, and disturbing. When I called to complain the representative simply offered a $25 gift card which definitely did not compensate for me having to touch the blood of one of their careless employees. Hopefully the matter will be discussed and resolved.

The clothing isn't half bad, but in the event of returning something, they do not pay for the return shipping. I tried exchanging something, they didn't have my item in stock so gave me a partial refund... I won't shop with them again. I'll shop elsewhere!

They have great clothes but if you have an issue horrible customer service My friends bought me a gift card for $200 for my birthday and I cannot tell you what a hassle it is been to try to deal with using it. Buyer beware did not buy a gift card from Venus! Good luck!
I was panicking. My vacation date was approaching (2 days) and the exchange of a bathing suit top was accidently processed regular delivery instead of overnight. Emily and her supervisor Sandra came to my rescue and re-shipped the order overnight. Got the item the very next morning in New York. They went beyond and over to make sure I got my suit by making sure it was on their truck. They also enclosed a return bag & postage (free of charge) to return to first order when it arrives. I have been a Venus customer for five years. I even bought my wedding dress from them. Love the clothes, they always fit but last dress was too tight in breast area. Tried to return dress, customer service does not respond after multiple attempts to reach them. They just lost a customer.

Twice I have ordered clothes from Venus. Waited 2 weeks for it to arrive only to receive and email saying out of stock. Second time received confirmation that item posted and on its way. 2 weeks later receive email unavailable. Why advertise items that are not in stock. Will not use again

Items are better quality than other online clothing. Prices are a bit high in my opinion. However, shipping is quick. I received my items within 3 business days. Return policy is great too. Just keep in mind that sizes run a bit small, so go up a size. Especially in bathing suits.

I buy almost all of my clothes from Venus. They have a great selection of styles and great quality for the price. Recently I ordered a dress that went on sale the following week, and Venus credited me the difference. I've only ever had good experiences with this site.

It's one place I'm not scared to shop online. The sizes are perfectly matched to the clothing chart, and the quality is very nice! I'm not one for ordering clothes on-line, as I am a petite 57 year old (size XS to S), and find it hard to find clothes that fit. I ordered a swimsuit and a top and was pleasantly surprised that both items fit perfectly. You may pay a little extra, but in the end it is worth it. I am leaving for a cruise on Saturday 2/20 and the items are packed in my suitcase. I will definitely order from Venus again.
I ordered a glamorous korean loose wool cloak slim large size long overcoat(US$44.99). The communication about the order was great - keeping me up to date, the delivery service was great & the costumes were great quality - far far nicer than I thought they would be - the cloak is fab - not scratchy & super sparkly - a big hit. Fantastic and lovely, a well made cloak. I am thrilled!
I just received a Henley tank top, bust area was too small, top was $17.00 it would cost $6.95 to exchange it, totally ridiculous! When I called they advised me to go to the post office and maybe that would be cheaper, so that makes no sense to do catalog shopping! So if I exchange or return its not worth it! Time to find another catalog to order from!

I have ordered from here MANY times and for the most part think the quality is good. I do order items in a smaller size than I normally would as I think they run a little big.
I haven't had any trouble with shipping times, but I have also never been in a rush to get my items. It does cost money to return items which I don't like.
