I bought the pinkish dress with the black embroidered flowers on the front. It's a tulip shape and made of a tulle fabric. I could not have been happier in a purchase, fit, comfort, feel, and style. My only problem is I may not find another occasion to wear it! It was prompt, true to size and just lovely. I would not hesitate to order from Venus again. I also picked some other dresses from on line companies that say they do returns but will not. All from China. I will from now on always check reviews and give this a 5 star!
I have ordered many swimsuits from them. Typically nice products; however, some have fallen apart, turned strange color, etc. They do not ship promptly. Ordered several items on Monday and they did not ship out until Thursday. I will not receive the items in time for a trip now.
I've had to return many items the latest being a short blue dress with the "cold shoulder" and lace trim on sleeves. The materials were like something you'd find in your great grandmas closet I've bought shorts as well from them and they should fit women in their 60s not like what the photos show. I'm extremely disappointed in their line of "products"
They have the rudest most indignant people handling their customer service. Nothing from their clothing lines is worth dealing with their company. You can find cuter, better quality merchandise from companies who are much easier and kinder to work with than them.
My credit card was charged $43.95 for a backorder item that was never ordered. If they had sent a backorder confirmation email, I would have contacted venus.com immediately. They refused refund and can only suggest "return to sender" with the return label they will mail me. ($6.95).

My closet is all Venus clothes now. I don't want to wear anything else. I first found Venus when I was going on a cruise. I ordered in a couple of cover-ups and they were so cute when they came in that I went back to the site to shop for other things and wound up spending around $600 for everything I needed for the 11 day cruise. I got more compliments than my girlfriend who bought all her stuff at Tommy Bahama and paid a King's ransom for it. I have gotten several of my friends hooked on Venus too and we constantly text each other when cute dresses go on sale. I'm getting married in just a few days and I'm wearing a Venus wedding dress. All my bridesmaids are wearing Venus dresses and they love them and these don't break the bank. I can't recommend this company more highly. Everyone that works there is top notch and very helpful and gracious. My experience has been wonderful! Don't be afraid to buy from them. You won't find cuter clothes at a more reasonable price anywhere else.
I've ordered once before from Venus. Dress came quickly and no issues. Today I felt I was a victim of bait and switch. Long story short - received an email for 30% off one item. Dropped 2 items in my cart -a jumpsuit and a dress. The sale price of the jumpsuit was listed as 24.99 / 17.49 with the 30% off; dress 29. First problem why not take the discount off the more expensive item. Clicked back because I wanted to look at another item. When I went back to the cart. The jumpsuit was 39.00 and the discount would not apply to either item. Opened a chat. No help. She offered to order at the higher prices, I said no thanks and expressed my concerns about the higher prices being returned. Something very odd!

Ok people that are writing negative reviews,, please look you don't pay much for the nice clothes you get a good quality., if your lazy and put them on the washer then put them on the dryer they well shink,, I did these ones bout now I wash them in gentle wash then let them air dry to take care of my items,,, is just like anything,, so far I love every single piece of clothing I have bough,,, I'm not rich so the prices are with in my spence range and budget,,, love Venus,!,, we'll keep buying my items here,,,,
The quality of every single product I ordered was well below expectations and not worth the price.
Return labels provided are not free and cost you more than if you mail products back to them. Horrible costumer service. Hard to believe this is a viable company.

I purchased several items recently and due to poor quality returned a couple of the tops. Mind you, non of it was great value - or quality, but some I just kept. They charge this outrageous "return label fee" in addition to their return shipping charges. I returned $61.00 in merchandise, and was charged a $34 return labe fee as well as $10 shipping charges. Then when I tried contacting customer service they would never give me any answer what-so ever! Horrible company!
I ordered some dresses then several swimsuits. The dresses were not impressive. I also had a very hard time finding. A bikini top that fit me. I ordered my bra size and they were huge. I combined the 2 orders into one package to return. I kept each order separate and sent paperwork with each. I used their return postage and expected the deduction from the returns. Although I was hoping they would only deduct from one order, no such luck. But what was unexpected was they ADDED shipping charges for shipping the items to me in the first place! I used a free shipping promo and they made me pay shipping when I returned. That is a deal breaker for me. They sell overpriced, ill fitting polyester, add deceiving practices and I am gone.

Why can your company not get orders right? I order something on line and sent me something totally different. I did not order a tent, I ordered an outfit to my size(6). I have been a long time customer for 5 years, now they just lost this customer. This is not good business...
This was first time ever ordering from Venus. I will not make that mistake again. I bought 2 cover ups and 1 maxi dress. The 2 cover ups are super sheer like saran wrap. The maxi dress was not flattering at all. I sent back the items and they charged me 4.95 for shipping and 6.95 for a return label fee? Isn't this the cost of doing business? I will never order from them again.

I order online. A lot. I'm good at it. Do not, I repeat do not order from Venus. They charged me $20 to return a $39 skirt. I will end up getting it back from AMEX but no company should be allowed to scam you like this. I even asked about return costs before I ordered. Very unethical.
I have never been able to order clothes online, till NOW. They are fabulous! People stop me wherever I go and I love the fit, the clothes wash well and they last. Customer service is amazing!

Poooor customer service. Everything would probably be ok if you don't have to cancel or change your order. Used online chat two times and had to pull every word out of these people. Felt like they are not whiling to help at all. Last time the girl didn't even say goodbye or asked if there was anything else I had to ask, but just closed the chat:(
I have read a couple of reviews below on quality and would like to say that quality might depend on items. Some of them come as they have on pictures and not bad quality, but others might be totally not what is expected.
Venus is a sold, trustworthy co. With affordable, decent quality items and I've been ordering from Venus for yrs. On occasion, I do return/exchange items but it is so easy to do so it's not a hassle at all. Your not happy, they promptly refund your money.Not so sure about this sitejabber-ppl say it's a SCAM so my advise-Be Careful and makes sure it's a co. W/in the states!

I've ordered lots of clothes from them very good selection but half of everything I've gotten have been ruined it is poorly sewed together I've spent over$100 getting them fixed some are unfixable all the tags say do not dry clean this is cause so you would spent more $ on replacing ruined items
I placed an order for 3 items on 2/23. My delivery date was supposed to be 3/1. I tracked the shipping several times as it got closer to my address. Well... 3/1 came and went with no package received. Now my delivery date jumped to 3/9 and according to the tracker the package hasn't left Florida yet. Not pleased as I wanted to wear one of the tops to an event this weekend.

I'm surprised of all the negative reviews, I've been ordering from venus for about 3 years now and have never had a problem with the pictured item as-is, the size or returns. I receive compliments from all the items I've purchased.
Had to contact Paypal due to not receiving refund... did receive a partial refund. If you return an item using pre-paid label it's $6.95 out of your pocket ( customer service rep said $7.95, and was clueless. I also found out that shipping to me, is non-refundable, which I believe is standard for most companies. HOWEVER, when you add it altogether, the shipping, return shipping and refund, they still short changed me nearly $5... I had to fight to get that refunded... which she finally did. I WILL NEVER EVER PURCHASE again, nor will I recommend this company to anyone...

Needles to say, I had not noticed it said "Final Sale". When I returned a bathing suit top. Of course they did not give me a return item, money nor a credit. So I lost out on $30. How is this ok? NEVER again will I order any thing from them again. I even canceled my subscriptions.:-{

Be careful - they advertise free shipping over $100, but in the fine print they end up charging you for shipping if you return any items and your order drops below $100. I'm someone who buys items in different sizes and returns the ones I don't need, and I returned two packages, so they ended up charging me $14 to return two packages and another $20 total for the original shipping costs! I might as well have kept what I ordered after paying $34 in shipping fees.
Been a customer for over a decade and have spent thousands of dollars. This last year since they've teamed up with Lascana they have become a company of poor quality, ill fitting clothes. Trust me, my closet is no less than 75% Venus purchases. I am sad to go but cannot continue to spend my money on what has become junk. The last order I received (just yesterday and it will be my last) the clothing has a weird chemical smell to it. Very disappointed to lose this clothing option
I ordered a bathing suit in a sz 6 and it ended up being a little snug. I looked online and there was sz 8 available. I called customer service and they said to fill out the return for and put what size you want to exchange for. I asked if I should order the size I want right now and get a refund on my credit card when they receive my return. The woman said "no there's plenty in stock." after I sent it back in the mail I noticed that they were now sold out of it online. I called and all they can say is "there is nothing we can do about it, we will make sure the person you spoke with is retrained" now I'm out a bathing suit and $6.95 for returning it
I was first introduced to Venus before my honeymoon (married 22 years now), when I ordered a couple of bikini bathing suits for the trip. I was hooked. I have never bought swimwear anywhere else since, and I buy most of my clothing there as well to this day. Their clothes are good quality, they're on point with the latest style trends, and their prices are very reasonable. They always have deals going too. The best thing about their swimwear is that for every color and pattern, there are several top and bottom styles to choose from, and you can mux and match to put together the bathing suit that you want. Their return process is easy, but I rarely need to use it because most of the clothes are true to size when it comes to fit. If you love wearing the hottest trends, but can't budget breaking the back for it, try Venus. You won't be disappointed. As I said, they have been my go-to place for clothes shopping for more than 20 years!

I wish there products were as great as they look. Horrible horrible horrible! Anytime I order anything it falls apart or material is straight up awful. It's so bad I had to tell them to stop sending me catalogs. And I think the only people that would give Venus 5 stars are people who get paid for it. I promise its Not worth your money! I will not be shopping here anymore!
