I bought the pinkish dress with the black embroidered flowers on the front. It's a tulip shape and made of a tulle fabric. I could not have been happier in a purchase, fit, comfort, feel, and style. My only problem is I may not find another occasion to wear it! It was prompt, true to size and just lovely. I would not hesitate to order from Venus again. I also picked some other dresses from on line companies that say they do returns but will not. All from China. I will from now on always check reviews and give this a 5 star!
I have ordered many swimsuits from them. Typically nice products; however, some have fallen apart, turned strange color, etc. They do not ship promptly. Ordered several items on Monday and they did not ship out until Thursday. I will not receive the items in time for a trip now.
I ordered blue dress, need it for today. Received yesterday... and. O. my. Instead of dress there was wrong item shipped - cheap and ugly top, of course I ran to the UPS and returned package immediately. But. No dress for today and I still don't understand why Venus don't fix they own mistakes and why in this particular case I have to pay for return shipping and I paid for other shipping too. Other companies at least return money for shipping if they make mistakes... And customer service is terrible also... they don't care!
Id like to make it clear that I was only reviewing Steve in customer service at Venus, he was rude, snarky and condescending. He needs to be retrained ( at work and probably at home). As for their clothes & reruns I have not had a problem.
SCAM WEBSITE! If possible I would give a no star. At first, I would my items from Venus. As time went on, I started ordering larger quantities and noticed that they would send me half of the things I ordered and charged me anyway. I called customer service and they refunded me but they thought I was lying and stealing the items. Please do not buy from this website. It is a scam!

For everyone saying their clothes are cheaply made they are right. I've been ordering From Venus for years. Previous years their quality was fantastic and everything fit as it was supposed to. I really think they must have changed factories or something because nothing fits right and is so cheaply made. I used to recommend Venus to everyone I knew. Now I'll have to find something different.

There are a few items I want to order however due to the inconsistency of the sizing I'm Leary of ordering again. Also I have received notification that my return was received however it's not reflected on my billing so I think I'll be holding off ordering from Venus any time soon. Plus I've never received the promos that were offered

Customer service is horrible!
I got a birthday gift from a friend, size did not fit well. I send the items back for an exchange ( with return and exchange note) and talk to representative twice ( I waist ed a lot of time on the phone)before I made the return. A moth later still I did not get my items... when I call they said they just refund money to credit card that made the purchase... with out calling me or anything! Reason... they say maybe they did not have the item available! Horrible experience. Friend that send me gift knew brand throuhg me. I will never recommend or buy from this brand again!
I ordered a bathing suit on 5/18 and it was back ordered until 5/30. On 5/30 I received an email that it was back ordered until today 6/27. I called and it has now been back ordered till 7/25. I just spoke with customer service and there is no guarantee it will even ship then. What is wrong with this MAJOR corporation. I will NEVER make a purchase and and I'm returning everything else I received. Colors are off and it's all cheaply made!
I purchased 370.38 in clothing, the clothes not only ran large in sizes but some where unraveling already and the fabric looks really cheap, also when returning the clothes venus doesn't cover pick up from fed ex and also charges you 16.00 as a return fee, and then charges taxes. I asked to exchange to of the bathing suit tops and some how got charged extra and also charged taxes again and another shipping fee, and by the end of everything I literally had to call five times for the remainder of the refund, and I only got 153.00 back out of the entire 370.38! This company has been beyond horrible and will keep every cent that they possibly can.
Bought several items from this company. Even had a credit card. They closed my account without cause. They stated didn't buy enough. Really! The company sucks big time. They lost a good customer. Will NEVER buy from them again. I get catalogs but toss them out in the garbage where they belong!

Purchased 2 swim suits under the free shipping. I returned them both and "I" paid for the return shipping. Now I get my refund and they charged me $4.95 because I sent them back! So much for free shipping!

So I had an original credit line of $1100. Always paid on time and double my minimum payment. Venus decided to decrease my credit limit because of " credit bureau" reporting? Did it twice. So I only had balance of $450 out of $1100 and it was reported to bureaus that my new limit was $650 the first time and $450 the second time making it appear that I pretty much was at my limits! Crooked! And I had to call about it to be told it is credit bureau fault but we will do you a Favor and increase limit back up to $650. Gee thanks! It should be $1100 what the original limit was! Is that NOT affecting my score? Oh I think it is! Don't so business with venus!

I ordered 2 dresses from Venus. One dress was way to big and the other dress was not the fabric that was described and instead looked like a prom dress. I returned both dresses within the return policy terms. My original order totaled $108.00. I expected no less that $101.00 to returned to my account, however, only $81.00 was returned. I have attempted to contact customer service but have received no response or explanation as to where the remainder of my refund is. This is absolutely unbelievable and I am beyond furious. I will never be ordering from this company again!

I've purchased numerous items over the years and I had recently one bad experience. This was my first time buying shoes from them and it was cheaply made! There's absolutely no support for the sole of the shoes. When I received them the soles were completely detached from the shoes. After speaking to customer service they said they would replace the shoes. When I received the new package it was not the same shoes and it was the wrong size. I spoke to customer service again and asked for a refund after shipping the shoes back. I have an email saying that the shoes were received, however I still have not gotten my money back. I'm not too concerned with the money I'm just a little disappointed with the company because I've been a customer for years and some of my favorite dresses are from Venus.

On one order they claimed I ordered a top that I did not order but sent a dress instead. When I sent the dress back and asked for the correct item I heard nothing back then they charged me for the top I originally ordered but never received. One month later, still no refund.
Second order I placed among other things, I returned a top that was too big. One month later, I still don't have a refund. Their sizing chart is off on some items. Mostly too large. I can no longer do business with this Seller.

Venus sent me a text claiming spend $100 and receive a $40 e-cerificate. At check out there was message that congratulations you received free shipping and a $40 e-certificate will be sent to your email. I did not receive the e-certificate. I contacted customer service, who informed me that my subtotal was less than $100. My total was $101.73.
There was no mention of subtotals in the text or on the site at time of purchase. Why did I get the message on their website that I had free shipping and the e-certificate at check out?
First time ordering from this company and I am not pleased they lied about the offer. Even worse, the customer service rep did nothing to resolve the issue. Bad business.

Awful experience. If you are ordering from Canada, do NOT order from Venus. I placed my order almost one monh ago and STILL have not received my shipment despite being charged for it already. I've ordered custom-made items of much better quality from other sites and have received the items within 8 days. With the exchange rate, duties & taxes, you will be much better ahead going to your local Winner's in Canada to get your vacation clothing.
I have made one order, a jacket, and will make no more. The order was online and when it arrived, it was so crumpled and wrinkled it is unwearable. When I contacted Venus via live chat they actually hung up on me in the middle of my typing my response. The rep stated, as she hung up, that she did not have all day to wait for my response. This establishment is HORRIBLE!

Recently I planned a weekend trip on beach. I needed some swimwear, so I searched online and got a lovely collection, in dressvenus.com. They offer such superb, adorable, sexy swimwear and bikini in such a reasonable price. I chose a pretty halter swimwear, with a cute bowknot. I tried it after the item was delivered, and found it well fitted. I recommend dressvenus.com to all my friends for buying summer clothes and swimwear this season.
My daughter bought a dress, tried it on and the strap broke. They sent us another dress and the strap broke again while my daughter was at her school dance. I asked to return the dress for a refund and they would only offer store credit. I would have thought this fair if two separate dresses had not had the same issue - clearly it is a defective design and/or part (the piece connecting the strap to the dress).
I ordered 4 dresses from Venus and had to return them all due to the size. I'm very petite and the XS's were too big. Never-the-less, the return process was quick and easy. It was well explained and my money was credited back to my card in a very timely fashion. I would definitely tell you to give them a try.

I ordered stripped bodycon mini dress but did not wear it immediately. I went to an occasion and I wore the dress and it was beautiful. There was no washing directions on the dress, I washed it in cold water in the wash machine.
When I went to put it on it was two sizes too small a week later when I called them up they said it's not returnable because it's after 90 days. Meanwhile they had to know the dress was poor quality and it shrinks and they would do nothing about it so my suggestion would be if you order clothes from them wash them immediately even if your not wearing..

I also ordered a package 2 weeks before Christmas. I called them a day before to make sure I'd receive everything in time. They stated that they hadn't sent it out yet. They could "overnight" it but because of the holiday and weekend, it would take 4 days to receive the clothing. No thanks. Please cancel my order. Never mind.
The representative was nice and said that there was a glitch but no one could call me? Email? I had to call them to find out there was a problem. They were going to compensate me with a gift card worth less than 10% what I paid. Like, I said, never mind.
If your Canadian, do not shop here. There is different shipping rules for us. Long story short, it cost me $170.00 and I got NOTHING,, NOTHING. It would cost, e more to return that what the items are worth, and snarky, bad attitude service.

I ordered a dress in December and have yet to receive it. I contacted customer service, and they told me it was out of stock and to pick another dress. They didn't give me the option to get a refund first. So I picked one, and they said I had to pay another $5 to get that one, so I did via paypal. They now told me that THAT dress is out of stock too. I finally just asked them to refund all of my money, and they said that they would only refund the original amount. (which infuriated me.) AND they still have yet to refund me that! I can't find a place on their website to complain. It has been an awful experience.
