I bought the pinkish dress with the black embroidered flowers on the front. It's a tulip shape and made of a tulle fabric. I could not have been happier in a purchase, fit, comfort, feel, and style. My only problem is I may not find another occasion to wear it! It was prompt, true to size and just lovely. I would not hesitate to order from Venus again. I also picked some other dresses from on line companies that say they do returns but will not. All from China. I will from now on always check reviews and give this a 5 star!
I have ordered many swimsuits from them. Typically nice products; however, some have fallen apart, turned strange color, etc. They do not ship promptly. Ordered several items on Monday and they did not ship out until Thursday. I will not receive the items in time for a trip now.
I ordered three items from venus. I was not satisfied with any of them. My swim suit top was too big and the bottoms were too small. I used their size chart and it was not correct. I also ordered a tank top and the design in the catalogue was not what I received. I returned the merchandise right away; however, I was out the $15 in shipping they charged me for the junk they said was suppose to be clothes Do not buy from this store it is a scam!

Venus has been on time with my shipments, good customer service, merchandise good, not top of the line, but good for the money you spend. My daughter is a size 4 and she finds the fit good, my sister is size 20-22 and they only go to size 16.
I found this place when I was looking for swimsuits. I like their styles and feel the clothes are quite comfortable. If a size wasn't a good match the returns were easy and quick. I'm surprised their score is so low.

I have been purchasing from Venus off and on for a number of years, since I received my first catalog. I kept the catalogs in my studio for my customers to look at, and many of them have also become Venus customers. We all decided to stop ordering because there was always some mishap, late delivery, or extra charge. Much of the clothing was of poor quality and see-through and often it costs less to keep the items than to ship them back. The customer service people have no power to help with any problems. I have removed the catalogs from my studio and will suggest to anyone who asks that they not take the chance to order from Venus. I apologize to anyone who listened to my promotion of this company - I was mistaken!

Bought 2 items and measured myself before. I bought from there a long time ago and though I would give it another shot. Not a great idea.
Neither items fit. I went to the post office to return 1 item …. The other was non returnable a dress probably because everyone was returning it! It costs me $30 just to send it back to Florida. Not worth it. I'm going to pawn it off
I have purchased over $500 worth of clothing from this company in the past 6 months, never had an issue til now. I order a package for Christmas, they sent it to me not to the address i asked. When i called them about it, well it's in transit, nothing we can do. I know that is not right not with UPS, they offered to resend 2 of the 4 items the other 2 were sold out. What kind of Christmas was that going to be. So i asked to talk to a supervisor at customer service, they wouldn't even pick up the phone. Never again will i order from here. Victoria's maybe just a little more, but they handle their mistakes. Don't be a sucker.
If I could give this company zero stars I would! I ordered many swim suites to try on, which was over the $75 for free shipping. But they still charged me for shipping and sent 2 items I did not order and there were 2 items that I did order that were not in the box. Nothing fit as it should and I had to send everything back. They informed me that I was going to be charged for the 2 items that I did not receive because they were not in the returned box! I called them and received horrible customer service. They will not refund me for those missing items still! I will never give my bossiness to Venus ever again, nor recommend them to anyone!

I have had no problems with service, shipping, quality or size. I get tons of compliments when I wear the sun dresses and tops I had bought. They are different than you can buy at a store. I like earning rewards, when I use the cards. And the times I've called in, I had no problems with customer service. I have never had to return anything, so I can't speak on that. The swimwear is pricy, but it seems to be everywhere.
Nothing ever fits me right when ordering online. But once in awhile something fabulous fits perfectly. Venus has some amazing beautiful items. However I was worried about their return policy if it didnt fit. I will continue ordering from them until i find that perfect fit. Because they made not only my ordering process seamless but my return was also just as easy. Thank you venus for great products and understanding that sometimes it just doesnt fit and allowing me to have that option so I can continue purchasing more.

I'm not sure where all of the negative reviews are coming from but I have been ordering from Venus for several years now and have been very happy with the quality. I've had some shirts that I've had for a few years and are still going strong. As far as the customer service, I have never had a better experience with any other company. Always helpful, fast delivery and if I have any returns, they couldn't be easier!
Poor quality and when you pay for overnight shipping you may get it within 3 business days if you are lucky. When you inquire why it didn't get sent out overnight you get a bunch of excuses and computer robot like answers. Just don't bother with them. They are cheap for a reason.

I ordered a dress from Venus. I am about 5'2,115 pounds. So I ordered a size 2, I looked at the size chart and it seemingly should fit perfect, I always order clothes and dresses online and usually have no trouble with sizing. I ordered 2 day shipping and received it when I was supposed to. The dress was about $64, it looked very elegant in the picture. In person it looked very cheap quality, and it had a side zipper and the bottom was HUGE on me but at my ribcage where I am the smallest was too tight. You literally had to have the smallest waist but a huge butt and thighs to fit in it. Not pleased. I've ordered dresses for $15 from other sites that have great fit and look expensive. And they don't offer free returns either!
I wanted to purchase the Cold shoulder ribbed top size L color mint. It showed that it would be available for purchase as of the 17th of April. But it already sold out way before. This was 2 1/2 weeks ago. I called customer service and they said it was no longer in stock. And that they don't know when It will be back in stock. They said to keep checking online to see when it was available. Still says it's no longer available. Very disappointing.

A truly unpleasant experience! If you want to avoid yourself a serious headache avoid it all cost. Sizes are comical - I purchased a couple of items of the same size and one could fit me twice while the other one I couldn't fit in. Trying to return was another tragicomedy. They messed up my refund 3 times! I couldn't for the life of me explain to the agent how 112 -58 = 54. The agent's solution was to put me on hold indefinitely, classy! After the sixth call I got it all sorted out but one thing is for sure - never again.
I ordered some dresses and wedges for my vacation to Trinidad and Tobago. One of the dresses looked like a cheap fabric print. The dresses were very thin poor quality. The "wedges" I ordered were not wedges at all. Never buying from them again.
This company's sizing is so mixed up. The quality is not the greatest and there is no return to the company if you live in Canada. I have to pay $25 to ship back 2 items. I sent them an email as they did not return my full amount... I have sent 2 emails and no reply and it has been 2 months.
I would not recommend this company.
What happens when you say you haven't received my return? I sent it with their label, but stupid me didn't keep the tracking tag. It had my return address on it, but why wouldn't it get to them? I can't track it. It's been well over 14 business days and nothing. They simply said if we can't track it there is no proof I sent it back. What happens to my $400 worth of items I sent back?
After sending back 3 items I received a email that a credit had been processed. I called the company to get the credit returned to my credit card. After spending over 30-40 minutes with customer service and with a promise that the money would be returned to my card and sending multiple emails I did not get my return processed. After many attempts when I tried to get credit in the wallet to use up the $95.64 it states it is expired. After I paid in full they continue to process fees. Then charge late fees when you don't even know you owe. I will never shop Venus again. Poor customer service, poor emails, poor returns, poor phone service of not telling the truth and putting you on hold. To bad as I liked the clothing but not the service. I will continue to spread the word of the poor overall business that Venus offers.

That the emails sent and receiving the response was not true, and customer service starts telling the truth instead of putting you on hold for over 30-40 minutes.

If I could give Venus 0 Stars I would! The clothes are just cheaply made, the material is very thin and the colors are definitely not the same as the pictures. Save your money and please buy somewhere else. I usually get all of my clothes from NY&C and Express but I wanted to give these people a try because the clothes looked so pretty and they kept sending me catalogues in the mail therefore I was like ok let me give them a try. NEVER AGAIN! I just returned my entire order and waiting for a refund.
This place is a scam, they make money off shipping charges. They shipped me the completely wrong merchandise, I returned it using their shipping lable, and they charged me the shipping fee! I argued with Trina for 10 minutes that the error was THEIRS! Had to threaten to get my bank involved, and now she says the refund will appear in 5 days. We'll see.
So I've been ordering from Venus for a while. I think in the past two years I've only returned two items. The most recent item I purchased a few weeks ago I had to return because the dress with practically see-through. I went on the site to leave a review but no where on the site can you leave one. I went on the live chat and the employee told me that only selected people are chosen to leave a review, and are emailed when they are chosen. To me, that is shady and a way to cover up poor quality. Otherwise, I've never had a problem with returns, shipping, etc. This just seemed very odd to me.

I have ordered a few things now. Some for my daughter and some for me. We both love the quality of the clothing and it fits true to size. I also have a friend ordering from this site. Some stuff can be back ordered but they make sure you know before you place your order. Highly recommend this site and I will definitely be ordering more as well as telling other people! I couldn't find anywhere on the site to leave a review. My first time ordering and the clothes look cute online and seem to have good reviews online. Two of the three dresses i ordered were super cheap fabric. One dress i could see through it, it was so thin. Definitely was not worth $39. Target has better quality for that price. I kept one dress ( i had to regardless since it was a final sale) but luckily it was the best of the bunch. Probably wouldn't order again. Based on reviews, now I'm afraid of my return. Hopefully it goes through smoothly.
