I bought the pinkish dress with the black embroidered flowers on the front. It's a tulip shape and made of a tulle fabric. I could not have been happier in a purchase, fit, comfort, feel, and style. My only problem is I may not find another occasion to wear it! It was prompt, true to size and just lovely. I would not hesitate to order from Venus again. I also picked some other dresses from on line companies that say they do returns but will not. All from China. I will from now on always check reviews and give this a 5 star!
I have ordered many swimsuits from them. Typically nice products; however, some have fallen apart, turned strange color, etc. They do not ship promptly. Ordered several items on Monday and they did not ship out until Thursday. I will not receive the items in time for a trip now.
Ordered bum lifter jeans in dark wash the picture of the jeans on the website looked like they had faded detail i talked to the live chat and asked her what size i should pick after tell her my measurements she said size 4, when they arrived i notice that they looked nothing like the picture they were solid dark wash no fade detail like the picture, and they are way too big, then i went to walmart the next day and found some nice jeggings for half the price, and fit and look better then the ones i bought from venus, they think their worth a million dollars
This is not the first time this happens when I place my order with venus. I send email and call and yet nothing. They have the worst customer service I've ever delt with. I've been buying with them for over 6 years but I won't buy with them ever again!
I read the complaints and then ordered three skirts just to see what I'd wind up with. Two arrived so far and they are adorable. I will order from the site again. You get what you pay for. These skirts may last one or two seasons and I will gave to hand wash them. One medium is a little large and the other medium is perfect. But the prices are as cheap as Walmart and much much cuter. My advice is order a couple if things, expect the fabric to be thin, expect to hand wash them, and enjoy them while they last.
I had the same experience as many on here with a return. My total order was close to $200 but from all that I only had to return one item. A $22 top. I shipped it back thinking it was $6.95 for the return shipping. Come to find out that's just for the convience of using their preprinted label. They still charged me $12.95 return shipping on top of that! So my total refund was $2! I could have used the top for a dust rag for $2! I will NEVER buy from this company again.
Hi! I bought Venus clothes several times and everytime something Bad happens. I can say that every piece that I use after 2 times using it something is broken or fall apart. The quality of these clothes its just terrible.
Then if you want to return the item they charge you $7 for the label. Can you believe it! I never see another online store that does that. And of course you have to pay for the return. But about the label is ridiculous.
Then when I return something they never return me the money. I have to call them to remember that Im waiting for my money, and then they send me back the money. Im talking about a month later.
So I just have to say that look for another online clothing stores that the quality is so much better and you dont have to pay labels or shippings for returns, like Lulus, revolve or others
I am never buying from this site again. I returned a dress that was 39$(usd)+ a ridiculous placing and handling fee of 28$(usd)+ an aditional fee of 13$(cad) for border fee. In all it cost me 67$(usd) which is a roughly 90$(cad)+the 13$= i spent around 104$(cad) on this low quality dress. I returned it because it was the wrong size (way to big for an 8). They dont reimburse the placing and handling fee (-28$usd) so thats 39$(usd) AND to top it all off they take away the 7$ fee for the stupid ups sticker. So i paid 104$(cad) for this dress and i got back 42$(cad). Thats a 62$-13$(border fee) 49$ profit that they make off of your back. DONT. BUY. FROM. HERE. Or if you do KEEP THE CLOTHING ITEM.
BEWARE. Do not waste your money. I ordered a jacket from this company on February 26 and did not receive the Item until March 26th. Once I did receive the item, it was too small.
This company does not honor returns and the customer service is poor. Pictures and measurements are misleading.

My wife placed an order never received item... forgot about it got a bill for item and a latecharge, prior to her bill had a 0 balance, so she called and was told the item showed delivered... no item = $51.00 bill (item never received and now 2 late charges for not paying bills)
I have probably ordered 10-15 times from Venus and every single time I have been more than satisfied. The dresses fit well, travel well, and I always get tons of compliments. The fit is great and I have never had problems with the quality (that being said, I wash but do not dry any of the dresses I have bought from there). The XS or size 2 always fit me to a T ( I am 5'9 and weigh between 125-130). I have never had to exchange anything so I can not speak to the many reviews that have had negative experiences in that area. What I can say is that especially for maxis, these dresses are a great deal. Dresses that would cost me between 100-150 elsewhere, I can get for between 29-50 here.
Terrible returns. They send back the returns & keep your money. Rude customer service. I inquired after two months of my return and got my package returned. Called and nothing. Online service nothing. Im now out $198 unless they fix this. Its a scam don't so dont buy from here. They ask their staff to leave reviews because their ratings are poor- fyi- but i thought they would look like what they described. So frustrated I was scammed. Reporting to BBB if not corrected- they dont care

I ordered a Holiday dress with a listed backorder date of 11/30, I contacted customer service and this was their reply.
Me: said it was back ordered on until 11/30/16

The backorder dates provided are merely the expected dates for us to receive these items. They are unfortunately, neither the guaranteed dates of arrival nor shipment and are subject to change without notice.
Shouldn't they post a more accurate date on backorders so we can make sure we have an item we may need.
I've been a Venus customer for a few years. I really like them. I realize the quality isn't that wonderful but it's not horrible. I always get compliments when wearing clothing from them. Sometimes it takes a little longer to receive my shipment or maybe a mixup happens... but that happens in life. I have ordered items that when I received them didn't look great on me or I wasn't happy with the quality but that also happens when I shop at the mall. Overall I've always been happy with their customer service and they always credit my returns in a timely manner.
Honestly... I like Venus and I'll continue to shop with them.
I ordered 2 dresses and initially there was a problem with my order being shipped. When I called costumer service they were cordial and agreed to ship it immediately and expedite my order. I received it in 2 business days and the quality of clothing was nice.
I did not expect anything pretty for $39, I understand you cant expect a great quality product at such a price.
I ordered a jumpsuit to wear at home and it is not wearable. The seams are crocked and falling apart.
I do not recommend that website.
After I ordered an outfit from VENUS from the first time, I read these negative reviews afterwards and thought of canceling. I have to be honest... nothing to worry about! I ordered, the item was listed in stock, it arrived today as scheduled, it fits beautifully and looks great! I will be ordering again from VENUS!

I am totally surprised by the Negative reviews! I have ordered numerous items from Venus and had to return/exchange a couple of things, and I have not been disappointed once! Their prices are GREAT, their Service has been GREAT! The ONLY reason for returns and exchanges is because i vary on "how" things fit me. I am 4'11 and 113lbs. And when you look at the models I don't always judge how what I'm ordering is going to fit ME. Thats certainly NOT their fault... It's always been the story of my "clothing life"! In General however, I can wear a good amount of their line even though it is not petite!
I love the beautiful clothing Venus offers and in the past I've been mostly satisfied... until recently. Most of the clothing is made in China and I feel it is similar to all the hokey sites like DressLilly, RoseGal, etc which are located in China and sell things of very lousy quality. I am not prejudice by any means but being in the apparel business I know for a fact Venus is purchasing from them at a maybe 1/4 of what It costs its consumers "and fans".
I'm so bummed and disappointed. I'll be purchasing much more carefully from now on.
Absolutely will never buy from them and will never reccomend them to anyone. I ordered $400.00 worth in clothing- they shipped the wrong item. They put boots in that I didn't order which cost me more in shipping and duty fees. So I returned everything and they supposedly refunded me. I had to call them 7 times to inquire why I hadn't received a refund but they insisted they refunded me. My bank said there was no transfer of refund, so I had to open a dispute. We won and now 6 months later they're charging me the money that they should have refunded me. They lied and now they're trying to steal from me! Absolutely furious. Worst experience I've ever had with a clothing company. If you don't want any issues don't buy from them!
They have some very cute clothes on this site. However the shipping is expensive and slow. After I placed an order it took 3 days just to process and hadn't even shipped out. I ended up canceling because it wouldn't get it me in time. I have since ordered from the website and been happy with my purchases.
I tried to UNSUBSCRIBE at least 50 times. And I am still receiving an email every day... I reported the incident 5 times. Nothing to do. Of course I would never make an order with them, their customer service is inexistant.

I love the colors too; they are a mixture of both bright and dark colors. Additionally, the shipping process is quick, which really gave me a lot of peace. Dressvenus.com is a must visit store!
Bought a dress a year ago made payments from same acct for a year. All of a sudden 4 months ago they are claiming there was insufficient funds in my acct. When I contacted my bank chase is saying they never tried to withdraw any $ in the last 4 months. Appealed with Venus Just got letter saying it was denied and Venus is right They ruined my credit and refuse to fix it. I will never use them again and will be reporting them to the better business bureau.
I bought the blue long sleeve hooded sweater. I'm about 5'4" and 122 pounds. The sleeves on the small are so long I have to roll them up. It looks like an old sweater that has been stretched out. I wanted to leave a review on the site but couldn't figure out how. I also bought white capris and shorts that I do like. The sweater is awful. Can't believe the positive reviews on the site for this.
