I bought the pinkish dress with the black embroidered flowers on the front. It's a tulip shape and made of a tulle fabric. I could not have been happier in a purchase, fit, comfort, feel, and style. My only problem is I may not find another occasion to wear it! It was prompt, true to size and just lovely. I would not hesitate to order from Venus again. I also picked some other dresses from on line companies that say they do returns but will not. All from China. I will from now on always check reviews and give this a 5 star!
I have ordered many swimsuits from them. Typically nice products; however, some have fallen apart, turned strange color, etc. They do not ship promptly. Ordered several items on Monday and they did not ship out until Thursday. I will not receive the items in time for a trip now.
I bought a dress and some shirts back in 2015 and they all didn't fit right but because I was busy at work I didn't bother to return them. This month I decided to buy 3 items from them of course the sizes are not right either too small or too big I made the mistake of mailing them back using the package label that was sent with the items and now I have been waiting 10 days with nothing showing on my account as a return and I just got off the phone with customer service who I called for the second time and they are so NOT helpful and have an attitude for absolutely no reason. I'm a very patient person because I'm a nurse and I never have problems communicating with anyone but today I felt like I'm not allowed to finish a sentence without the customer service lady interrupting me! Hope my items get processed soon but never ever again!
The majority is overwhelming please which makes this one bad review sound like a sycho and way off base. This customer obviously doesn't have a normal physic to wear the clothing well enough to complement her body. The clothing looks outstanding on any moderately slender women. She should try Romanns site for bras and clothing. It would be a more suitable site to look into for her. I did really enjoy all the more acurate reviews which were many.
I've ordered MANYdifferent items from Venus. 8 out of 10 I loved. The others were just sizing mistakes on my part. I have 2 currently sold items in my closet with tags still on that are just TOO big for me that im too lazy to go thru the hassle to return and exchange them not to mention the payment, I'd say my results were pretty darn great considering the chance i ALWAYS take ordering online. Overall very happy with Venus

It's only been 3 days since I shipped back my return, I decided to track package & found its only moved 30 miles in 3 days! Called Venus & I was told that it takes TWO weeks before they RECEIVE the return plus another week+ before they can credit my card for the return. I could have hand delivered within 3 days. (Not looking forward to being charged back for shipping my return either)
IMO In this day & age it shouldn't take 14 days for a 2.5 lb box to go 1778 miles w/i US.
2 orders total $435, I better not get charged back for shipping!

I will say the clothing is nice and good quality. But definitely not worth the headache if you need a refund or return. They will not and cannot refund the duties/taxes that you pay on your order. You must request that through CBSA... what a pain.

I ordered leggings from this site because they were exactly what I was looking for at a great price. I ordered them in the beginning of November, I got busy and forgot about ordering them, until the beginning of January when I realized they were still not here. I emailed the website and told them the problem. They informed me that the item I ordered was out of stock and that I would have to pick a new pair. I told them I wanted my money back, which I was a little worried that I wouldn't based on their reviews. I checked my paypal today and they indeed refund me my money, which is great on their part. The only problem I have with this site is that they didn't contact me and let me know about the pants. Not a very good way to run a business.
I ordered from Venus to give it a try despite all the bad reviews about shipping, sizes, quality, and malfunction. I ordered 4 different style tops which totaled to $112.00. I received free shipping/ standard for an order over $100. I ordered on Monday and recieved the package (in NY) this morning (Friday). I was expecting something would be wrong with at least one item or alllll of them since almost every review on this site and one other made it sound like that... NOTHING was wrong with any item. I got what I paid for--pretty good quality for what I think is a cheaper price, I got all the correct items, the colors were correct, the sizes were "true to size" (I'm a medium with 36" bust, 28" waist), and strings were not coming apart, etc. etc. I love each top, I tried them on and they looked better in person! I definitely will continue to be a Venus customer. I absolutely love the cut out mesh detail top, so sexy!
I ordered some corduroy pants on back order that was supposed to be back in stock on January 20th, 2017. I called them on January 26th because no one bothered updating me i was told they was at another warehouse it appears that my money of $120 is not of concern of this company. Customer service sucks I Will not be Ordering again from this company
I wont purchase anything from them again. I bought a top for 60 dollars for a Holiday occasion. The straps were beaded. Right in the middle of dinner the bead strap broke. It was embarrassing as the waiter had to clean up beads and I had to leave early because I couldnt hold my shirt up. I emailed and called and they would not help me because I didnt have the reciept or packaging. Duh. Dont you keep records..
Dishonest, they charged us 6.95 for a label, a sticker for God's sake, thought it was 6.95 for return ground shipping to return wrong size clothing. Turns out they charged us another 13.00 for the shipping. So our refund on a 22.00 top was 2.05. ABSOLUTE DISHONEST SCUM. NEVER AGAIN!

Amazon is more on clothing but worth it, no tricks w/ Prime, just 2 day shipping and no questions asked returns - with free return shipping. We learned our lesson.
I placed my 1st order today. I'm worried about the clothing reading what I've read. I usually order from Victoria Secrets and love their clothes. Anyway, I placed my order w Venus and accidentally ordered 2 of the same shirts so I decided to chat in and my Rep" Dee Rose" was a horrible chatter. She was ignoring me wouldn't let me know she was looking into or please hold. I had to say are you still with me or are you looking into this? She just replied your total is 202.00. Nothing else. I asked will I get a new email with the changes she ignored me Again! So I called while she just left me sitting on chat. I asked, who is your supervisor? She says, call 800 there are several supervisors on the floor. Remind you, I had her Supervisor Kelly on by the time her reply came through. Her supervisor was watching the chat! Wonderful supervisor, she was not happy with Dee Rose unprofessionalism! No complaints about clothing or now.
I placed an order for my friend. A pair of pants, and she didnt like them. I placed it one hour ago. Immediately tried to cancel. Was refused! One hour later! What a scam! They wouldnt even be shipping for a couple of days, BUT are refusing to cancel something just placed. I am not kidding, it was 1 hour ago! Not trustworthy, not customer oriented. Not a good company! Wont do this EVER AGAIN> no way, no more Venus!

I ordered a dress for winter ball on the 3 of February it is now the 9th and I still don't have my dress. The tracking is all messed up I don't even know if the map shows the actual location of my dress or not. I need it for saturday and I have never shopped off the website before so if the size is wrong I am screwed. I am very dissatisfied and have no good things to say about the company and the wait for their products.

Ordered $662, pkg stolen off my porch. Sent video of theft and police report. Wrote five times called five times, promised replacement for the next day TWICE, never resent, refused to credit me although they are insured for the theft, now I wait 8 weeks for my $$ while AMEX fights it out with them.

After waiting for about a month for this to arrive! I discover it was a complete scam I wouldn't pay $5 for this if I found it locally. The measurements were NOT at all as what they describe online, it was not lined or double breasted at all, the fabric was sooo flimsy and not heavy or thick, the arms were very short (only above my wrists) and the width could fit 3 regular size people in it. After several emails they still insist that I pay the postage fee to return it and keep pasting the same standard email back to reply to me.
Here's another tip. Many of the reviews are veryyy similar on their site, hint hint..
I bought a white bikini and cover up from this company. They didn't deliver when they said they would and sent the wrong color. It arrived too late for my vacation but since it wasn't what I ordered I didn't wear it. The sizing is completely off. The 32b top is too big and the xs bottom too small. Do not buy from this store because the quality also sucks. It looks like made in China stuff that was purchased at the 99ct store. Never again
They are cheats and liars they charged me in USA $ after asking what country I am from making me feel as though the price that was there was the price in Canadian$ then they sent me an email telling that I had to pay another 50$ upon arrival. I just filed with the better business bureau more ppl should do this to stop this scamming.
Placed an online order for over $350 worth of clothes called to check staus they needed approval from my husband which he gave and was told they would ship within a week waited two more weeks NOTHING so called again to check staus to find they cancelled my order called my hubby to make sure he didn't cancel the order-he did not! Called Venus asked to speak to a supervisor complained to the supervisor and she hung up on me! So very disappointed-needed summer clothes for a vacation got nothing but $#*!ty service! DO NOT order from Venus-they suck!

I was nervous when I read some of the negative reviews about this company, especially because the clothes aren't cheap, price wise. I ordered a dress for a wedding and it came and was exactly like the picture! It was true to size and the material was nice. I don't know what some of the negative comments are coming from. It also shipped fast and came when it said it was going to. I would order from Venus again.
I thought they had the cutest clothes for the price but it was some of the cheapest material I've ever seen; I ordered a yellow romper and it was so thin I had to send it back and then charge me 14.00 to return to items in the same package they lost my business. I washed one of the items in Woolite and it tore up, I was so disappointed in the fabric, the items are so cute in the magazine but crap when you get it in the mail. It may work for some people it just depends on what you want to look like, but I don't like looking cheap.
Because I ordered a suit using a $15 reward that Venus gave me and then returned the suit, I have to pay them $15 plus shipping. They said they issued me a credit but I have to buy more merchandise to get. So basically I paid $21.95 for a suit I don't have. Ripoff
Venus is a worst service over the world! They wasted 4 weeks to place orders and they scoofing at disabled peoples! I hope that everybody will repost this message and venus will work correctly with all clients! They did everything, received everything all dates about card and just scoofing on clients!
I ordered a medium. I am 5'6 and 145 and the fir was big but I like larger loungewear. The quality is not the same as shown on the picture. The lining was sort of see-thru ish. Ok for home wear but I would not wear this outside the house

Just received my Venus order. Both dresses I ordered should be Small size. I usually wear small/medium. Both dresses turned out to be wayyyy to big. It's not even regular large size, it's more like Plus size. Very disappointed.

I ordered a pair of pants from this place for the first time. I doubt this place caters to plus-size women at all. I knew I shouldn't have tried a store that sells plus-size AND skinny people clothes. These types of places never make clothes that truly fit the plus-size woman. I bought pants that were my size and came out to at least a size or two smaller! I couldn't even pull them up. I held them up to my own pants that are the same size and these were way smaller in comparison. The stores I usually shop at are plus-size women stores. Venus claims to sell plus-size women clothes but what they considered plus-size doesn't work for me. Clothes run way too small. I also read reviews saying the same thing. I will stick to true plus-size stores, thanks very much.
