I bought the pinkish dress with the black embroidered flowers on the front. It's a tulip shape and made of a tulle fabric. I could not have been happier in a purchase, fit, comfort, feel, and style. My only problem is I may not find another occasion to wear it! It was prompt, true to size and just lovely. I would not hesitate to order from Venus again. I also picked some other dresses from on line companies that say they do returns but will not. All from China. I will from now on always check reviews and give this a 5 star!
I have ordered many swimsuits from them. Typically nice products; however, some have fallen apart, turned strange color, etc. They do not ship promptly. Ordered several items on Monday and they did not ship out until Thursday. I will not receive the items in time for a trip now.
I ordered a two-piece bathing suit. These people sent the top part only for which they charged $39.95. I couldn't use it so I returned it and instead of only keeping about $7 for shipping, they returned only $25.05. DO NOT TRUST THESE IDIOTS! They are thieves!
I bought a dress, but found a better option at The dolls, when I sent two emails asking. Them to cancel the order BEFORE it had even been shipped, I got no answer. I got an email notifying the package had been shipped, then moments later an email saying the dress had been shipped and I could not cancel the order. Venus needs to be better about answering, and not scamming customers by shipping, and then denying the cancellation.
So, I have ordered a total of 3 times, all together I spent about 500 dollars on clothing from here. Most have been dresses and tops. Some were gifts for my daughters. Overall, the items look nice in the photos and for the most part they are okay, fit semi decent and look okay on me. My problem is the fabric is super thin and not the best quality, maybe that's why it's priced so well? I do like the clothing in general, colors and styles are okay but every little figure flaw is visible. I am a size 12-14 and never once in my life have I had to wear a body shaper with any other dress except for the ones I buy here. I guess we get what we pay for. The customer service and shipping has always been great.
Update, I just saw the photo option, I will add photos of me and some of my dresses from Venus including the light pink see through one which I cannot wear as it is extremely see through. The photos of me wearing the other 2 dresses, I have nothing bad to say. A little think but still wearable.

I ordered 2 swim dresses last minute because I couldn't find anything local that was as cute as what I saw on Venus's website, so I took a gamble on items I needed for a trip that the clock was counting down on. They arrived just days before the trip (great shipping times) and they were both super cute and flattering (great fit) and I turned many heads at the beach. This trip was with my kiddos and so I wanted to look great without being sexy, and these were just that! I looked for a place on the site to leave a review, but not sure where that could be, so here I am. I have mediums both in black of a swim skirt/dress and a bandeau swim dress. (The bandeau is ADORABLE and only 16 bucks right now!)

Backstory, I was on my way to Philly for a long waited vacation. I haven't been on vaca for over 10 years. I ordered 3 dresses and applied the free shipping over $100. Paid the extra for two day delivery, hoping it would arrive on time. I even had a back up plan for one extra day. I received an email- stating they were processing my order. After not receiving on Day 3, I called only to find out my order hadn't gone out... they had a question and I they were waiting on my reply. $#*!! There goes my fabulous evening out.
I have been ordering from VENUS for years--they are a little pricey for this type of merchandise, but they do have some really unique clothing items. Have never been a fan of their swimwear--go to Vic Secret for that, but overall would continue buying from them.
Ordered a dress nothing like it was on picture returned it 3 weeks ago they have told me 4 times they received it but still no refund. The even put me on hold and told me they were doing to refund while I was on hold. They then came back and told.me the deducted tax and the return postage. I'm reporting them to the BBB they lie and they are just making money off honest people and prolly sending it to other countries. Worse customer service very rude. Liers!

I ordered a white sweat shirt 5 weeks ago, got email that it was shipped after 3 weeks I called to check on it was told it was at my post office, I called my post office it was not there. Called again and was told they would ship me another one when I never received that one I called again, was told they would put tracer on it, finally got a message on my machine from a Kelsey telling me that the shirt I ordered was sold out but when I ordered it 5-weeks ago they had all sizes, I have told everyone I can about this company. Hopefully people will read some these reviews and not order from this company
I bought 2 hats and a dress and when they arrived, the box was all busted and USPS had to retape it. I caught my postperson and they said per the details, they picked up the box from VENUS that way. Once I opened it, the hats I purchased were crushed beyond repair. Dress I purchased was nothing like in the photo and much too formal for my use. Not happy at all.

So I ordered one sweater and this was my first/last order with them. I noticed that on the site it said that it was backordered until 9/28. Okay fine a week no big deal. Well i contacted a representative in the live chat and they said that the site was wrong it was actually on backorder until December. I told them nevermind cancel my order and that I wouldn't be ordering from them again. After i told the representative she was like oh well we can just cancel your order if that's too long. I'm good on this company.

I bought a pair of Venus Capri jeans. The whole waistline came Unattached. They would not do anything about it because it had been over 90 days and I had worn them. What a rip-off. Poor quality

I ordered 5 dresses from Venus.com two out of the 5 were simply unwearable. They were very cheap looking and had horrible quality. I returned these two dresses and since I had used a promo code they adjusted my return minus the promo code I had used. I am very upset as NO other company does this. DO NOT ORDER FROM VENUS! Order from Express or the Limited instead. Much better quality and customer service.
I ordered a few items on Feb 17th for an upcoming vacation. Still have not received the items... I have since then gone and come back from my vacation - had called customer service to inquire about the status of my order and they said that apparently because I didn't opt to pay my customs and duties through Landmark the items will take and additional 21 business days! Ridiculous... I had ordered bathing suits from two other vendors from China and they both arrived in less time than this crappy website... DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM if you need your items on a somewhat reasonable timelines.

I love Venus clothes they wash good and Last a long time I do wish they would have plus size models because somethings I want to order items but I don't cause of the skinny models I hesitate to order it. U should have plus size models Females come in all shapes and sizes and your models should show that..

Mar4,2015 I have talked to another representative he promise will give me a refund as the package was too late.He told me to wait for the refund confirmation email. But I never receive the email. So I went to live chat again and want to confirm my refund.
This lady Lani Taylor, I gave her my refund order#, she said "i don't understand your question, you are making a statement not asking a question". OMGGGGGG
She gave me more information then the other lady who rushed me off the phone. Meena was nice and patient with all my questions. She's an asset to the Venus Company.

I ordered two dresses and I gotta say I will never order from here again. The material is VERY CHEAP! Does not look like the picture at all... & I wonder what the L size looks like when the S fits like an XL..

Have purchased serveal clothing been quite satisfied. Receive my capris one leg is bigger than the other. Decided to sent the capris back we'll going to cost me $30 to send them back never heard of the return cost that much. So needless to say I kept the capris that I won't wear and will never order from Venus again to many other wedsites to order from that don't have a ridiculous return policy.
I ordered from Venus twice. 1st time early 2017, 2nd time November 2017 before a cruise. I ordered about 8 items the 2nd time. The quality was TERRIBLE both times. I returned all things except 1 piece in 2nd order. I was upset because I was going to have to go and reshop for decent items at the last minute. I returned of December 2017. January, february, March 2018 go by with NO credit made. I pay on the credit card account through them (Comenity) for items I DON'T HAVE because I have an excellent credit history with my cards. A year later I stop paying, account has NOT Been rectified. I had 2 items totalling about $65 (which was MORE THAN Paid), but had a bill of almost $400. Stopped paying after complaints, they refer to collection company that try to double amount for items NOT in my possession. IT's Extortion! All because they do not refund/credit as they are supposed to, they try to lose you in the shuffle and use Excuses! Never again. Filing claims. - P H

Is very very bad, I order 4 dresses about a month ago, and 1 of then dint fit, the price was 29$ and they only refunded me 7$ lol they charge 12,95$ shipping and $7 for return level I don't know why they charge u for that cause I sent it back I pay for shipping,
I have to tell you that I for 1 am truely shocked at all the bad reviews. I have been ordering from venus for years and now I currently live in Germany and all my orders have been on time even faster than the states (knock on wood) but I love the website and everything fits perfectly and If not I will send it back. Please read the return info carefully and It will tell you that if and Item drops your original order below 100s then yes you will be charged for shipping& handling. The reason I found this site today was because I placed an order a couple of days ago for all preorder items so I can get them before they run out, and for some reason the whole order was canceled and I was told that they will not be getting the items in. Im very dissapointed about this; but what can you do...? All in all I have a good experience and hope it remains that way.! :) good luck to all of you.
